when using the function (within a calculated metric) in analytics workspace, the preview window looks like this:

I would love to see instead of "dimension" the dimension i have used in the calculated metric, eg. "site sections" in this example.

Requested solution: replace "dimension" by the used dimension

Agreed. This is accessed when clicking the button either in the panel or a freeform table. Should show the actual dimension used in the function for more clarity.

Having the exact dimension name would make the preview more clear and descriptive.
