Currently, you are not able to disable the sidebar panel, only minimize it. We would like to allow analysts to empower themselves in how they navigate through the insight client. Providing this flexiblity, would also provide the administrator with the means to toggle the features on or off depending upon known issues, reported bugs or client satisfaction. In addition, the concept of the sidebar panel could be reserved for power users who are familiar and comfortable with the insight product. The sidebar panel would not be enabled for those users who are new to the system and/or a read only view into the system.
