Allow editing the description of out-the-box components in the Data Dictionary.

Data Dictionary is great help for you analytics users, but you can only create/edit descriptions for custom components, not for those which come out-of-the-box. Companies should be able to provide specific descriptions for their analytics users, which includes localization. Even more, some of Adobe's out-the-box components don't have a description.

    I agree with this! It would be great to be able to describe those so newer users know which items to use.

     

    Also related to data dictionary, it would be great to have the option to 'not approve' items. Every component that isn't approved has a big "approval needed" message, but there are some components, for one reason or another, that we don't want to mark as approved, but still want to keep in our workspace. Being able to dismiss the reminder would be nice.

    Yes, it would be helpful to be able to add info to the Adobe descriptions for out of the box components.
