Add Flexibility to Emailed HTML Reports

(I know I've read other ideas about some of these issues, but I'm not aware of them all being housed in one location)

The current implementation of the emailed HTML reports is too inflexible to be useful in many situations. For illustration, see the custom conversion report intended to measure conversion rate of a subscription process.

The screenshot of the emailed HTML report has so much extraneous data, the intention of the report is lost. The report would be much more helpful if:

  • The search filter box had the option of being hidden
  • The graph had the option of being hidden (in this case, it is trying to plot the completion rate on the same graph as the # of completions)

  • The percent of total value for each event had the option of being hidden (its meaning is trivial in this report)

  • The custom events wrapped, so each event was clearly labeled (without needing to check the color coding of the event in the graph above it)

Ideally, we'd like to use Site Catalyst to create specific reports, which we could then use the "email" functionality to share with others in the company. The current tool allows so little modification, the emailed report often doesn't convey the true intention of the report. Often any report emailed using this tool requires an immediate follow-up email, explaining "don't pay attention  to the graph -- the percentages mean nothing -- etc etc"
