Connecting Google AdWords (Google Ads) account to AMO (Ad Cloud)

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to connect a pre-existing Google Ads account with AMO (Ad Cloud). I know there's something called a connector (file:///Users/user/Downloads/Installing_Search_Engine_Connectors_for_Media_Optimizer.pdf) but by the looks of it, it seems it only lets you create new accounts from scratch from within AMO.

Again, I need to know if I can pull an old (currently working) Google AdWords (Google Ads) account into AMO to manage it directly from there.

I've tried reaching out to Adobe many times but their support team don't even seem to know what AMO or Ad Cloud or AdWords is... after 2 days and several attempts of getting the right information, one of their reps directed me to this forum. Hopefully, one of you will be able to point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance.

All the best,

Mariano

Hi marianoc6312460

Thanks for reaching out to the community and posting the question.

May we know your AMO Client Name? That would help us to check.

You can go into the Advertiser Account tab and add the required account.

For that you would need – Adwords

  1. SE Account ID,
  2. account Login,
  3. password,
  4. based on those, need to set the OAuth Token,
  5. Currency & Time Zone (If adding the account from the Old Campaigns tab)

Also if you can share what error you are receiving during adding the account? It will also help us to investigate further.

Best,

Tanmay
