Dear AEM Community members,I am attempting to use context hub to resolve a few segments based on query parameters in the URL. The approach is as below:Create a few segments that produce that will read query parameters in URL and accordingly form a resolutionCreated few variations of the teasers that will be shown based on segment resolution.My Query here is majorly around the caching of content in the above setup: Will the content to be shown based on resolved segments be cached all at once and shown/hidden on basis of segment resolution?Thanks for your response in advance!

Will this feature work with the vanilla instance of aem or we need to install something?

Use CaseFor a customer, we have to implement/configure a new AEM Communities site containing the blog feature. The customer has requirements to the layout and the content structure of the blog page as well as for things like "user profile", "login form", etc., that doesn't fit to the OOTB communities site structure. We have configured a new communities site template at "Tools / Communities / Site Templates". A created communities site based on the named template always has the "sling:resourceType=social/console/components/basepage". All other sub-pages like "profile", "signin", "signup" have resource types pointing to "social/console/components/*".QuestionIf we want to change the markup of the blog page, we would have to overlay all the "social/console/components/*" components, which will then apply to all other community sites. I am using aem 6.3, and I have a requirement ,which is, when workflow comes to 'reject' step , the 'comment' field will be mandatory to complete, the other step also have this 'comment' field but not mandatory. Is there any suggestion on how to implement it? Any help will be appreciated.

I have a property (hideBreadcrumb) that's been declared in ui.apps/src/main/content/jcr_root/apps/berkeley/components/page/base-page/basic-tab/.content.xmlI have a header.html that's located in ui.apps/src/main/content/jcr_root/apps/berkeley/components/page/base-page. Inside this html file, I can access the value for hideBreadcrumb.If I try to access hideBreadcrumb from another section of my page (example: ui.apps/src/main/content/jcr_root/apps/berkeley/components/navigation-section/navigation-section.html), it's not working.Any ideas on how it can be done? I am working on a tutorial (Adobe Experience Manager Help | Persisting Adobe Experience Manager data in a relational database ) and have a question.At following section, seemed like I need add some application logic to the CQJDBCProject. I still new to the AEM and I just want to know how to make a form and store/retrieve the data to/from MySQL. So, I don't mind using default class. As the note mentioned, there is a default class but when I open the page, it jumped to unsupported versions of AEM.I know I'm using AEM 6.3 and this is tutorial for 5.5 / 5.6.Does anybody know newer version of this tutorial or have the jar file I need to carry on this tutorial?Thanks!Ryu

Hello Everyone,    We have used formula in excel to roll the end date for the monthly scheduled report. We are reporting Adobe metrics on month to date, year to date etc. However, we started running in to issues where the Excel time zone on Adobe's servers were sometimes on a different "today" than our report suite's timezone's "today." Two questions - 1) Do we know the specific time zone used for processing excel dates (using formula "=EOMONTH(TODAY(),-1)") by Adobe2) Any suggestion for the fix.Thanks!Regards,Saurabh Kumar.

How can I track how much time (in seconds) elapses between two events? I noticed that when we setup a eVar in the report suite Manager, we have the option for allocation: (most recent, original value or linear ), this depend on how we want to give credit to this eVar. Then for the expire after we have a lot of chooses. I just want to further understand the meaning for the combination of those 2 fields. To be easier, I use Tracking code as example:1. If I setup allocation as original value & expire after visit  -> Then every time, a visitor comes to my site, if there is a tracking code, then tracking code will be set to the new value, correct?2. If I setup allocation as original value & expire after 1 month -> Then within this 1 month from the visitor first comes to the site, if there is a tracking code, then  the first tracking code will be set to the tracking code variable. After deployment of OSGI bundle I could see in /system/console/bundles -Service ID 10437 Types: Interface AComponent Name: Class BComponent ID: 3665 (Class B)Now, I have created 1 more service called: Class C which is extending Class B , but after deployment I am not getting similar information for Class C.Here, Component B and component C both are in active state. I am trying to execute this from the Marketo/Velocify integration guide, "Post must be set up in Marketo to update Velocify as Marketo Interesting Moments occur." Hello!I am trying to exclude records using an ID from a table linked to the targeting Dimension. Is it possible to set the ID used in the exclusion activity? For Example: I have recipients table linked to a household table. I want to exclude any recipients who are part of a household using the household ID, though the household ID is not defined as the primary key of the table. What is the best way to do this?

Hello,I have noticed that the website url is being pulled from the email domain of any leads that are being created in SFDC. We are looking to see where the leads are originating from to try to determine what is causing this to happen. Our SFDC admin cannot find a workflow that is auto filling the values, and I do not see anything obvious in Marketo. Has anyone had this similar situation? If so, what triggered the website to pull from the email domain? The piece that tells me this is happening from a flow or trigger is that domains like gmail and yahoo do not become a person's website address. It seems like it's an exclusion. Hi,Is it possible to build a website in AEM, when the content is going to be authored in some other CMS?(lets assume methode or teamsite) considering the other CMS is going to create XML/JSON data of the content while publishing which should be accessible to AEM,I would assume yes it should be possible as long as we have access to the JSON/XML, using a java application we should still be able to build a site in AEM for presentation. Please let me know otherwise.But my main question is , is it it worth following this path? If yes, what are the pros and cons of doing it? (especially from an architecture or design perspective)Thanks,Nandhini

Hi,When an asset is uploaded to DAM, workflow is getting triggered, inworkflow property is true even though there is no workflows for that asset in the Backend. This results assets are not be able to activated/published.Need to understand where this inworkflow is set to true and set to false, which cases it will be true for a long time.Have any one faced this issue and how can we resolve this? any suggestions?
