How to notify specific user of a group when start a workflow in aem6.3?

Hi all,

I have created a workflow using participant step, and chosen a group to get email notification. But as I know, when choose to receive email notification all the users of the this group will get notification.

And my question is :

(1) how to restrict specific user to get email notification

Hi,

in this case the chance I see is not to use the product feature, but implement that workflow step on your own according to your requirements.

Out of the box all members of the group to which you assign the workflow will receive a notification. If you want users not to receive the mail, you have to assign the workflow to a group, which these users are not part of.

Thank you very much. In fact, I want users not to receive the mail, but still is the part of group.
