Dam Asset Upload retains inworkflow property as true for a long time

Hi,

When an asset is uploaded to DAM, workflow is getting triggered, inworkflow property is true even though there is no workflows for that asset in the Backend. This results assets are not be able to activated/published.

Need to understand where this inworkflow is set to true and set to false, which cases it will be true for a long time.

Have any one faced this issue and how can we resolve this? any suggestions?

OOB default asset workflow gets triggered to create default renditions when you upload an asset.

can you pls look into Archive and failures tab in workflow console http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/workflow/content/console.html

you may find any message that might help

Once a workflow has completed and not longer modifying the asset - this prop should be false. Can you confirmed that the workflow has stop running.

Workflow is in RUNNING status for ever.
