Is jQuery required to use adobe analytics?Is jQuery required to use adobe DTM?

I would like to build a report in SC 15 to show new visits and return visits of pages. In other words, I would like the report to show 2 metrics: new visits and return visits. If % can show up, that will be better. However, when I go to Site Content >Pages, and click "Add Metrics", I could not find new visits or return visits in the "Available metrics" drop down menu. What should I do in order to add return visits and new visits into my report? Thanks a lot! 

Our company has two divisions, each with their own seperate SiteCatalyst accounts.  In one, we have the GeoSegmentation option in the menu (Visitor Profile > GeoSegmentation).  In the other account, the GeoSegmentation option is not there.  And it's not hidden via the menu customization admin area.Does GeoSegmentation available by default, or only in certain licenses?  If it does come standard, how can I add it to the menu?Thanks!

I would like to create a segmentation by country (e.g., visits from UK), but I could not find such an item on country or geo in the drop down menu when defining visit under "Segment Definition Builder". I tried to create a filter "domains ends with .uk/", but it did not give me the correct data.How to create a segmentation to show visits by country in SiteCatalyst 15? Thanks! 

Hello,I'm trying to pull a report that would show revenue only from visitors that viewed the Home Page on that session.I've built two reports - 1) Page breakdown that shows revenue participation for the home page and 2) Custom visit container segment of visitors that viewed the home page that shows revenue. I'm seeing a big discrepancy. Don't these reports mean the same thing?Thanks in advance, David

I recently inherited responsibility for our huge group of suites that were merged from multiple other companies' accounts after purchases.  I feel very lost.  I have watched some videos, got a book, read blogs and posts but still lost on some things.Today's issue is using the mobile segment drop down.  The dropdown is there on all of my suites, but the data just isnt there on some of the suites.  I assumed it was caused by the code block, but one of my dev's is arguing with me that the difference in the code isnt what is causing it, that the problem is in the java that it is accessing.Any help would be appreciated!!http://www.heraldtribune.com/ <-- workshttp://www.newbernsj.com/ <--- doesnt work

Hello,All Search Engines - unique visitors report doesn't equal (=/=) the number of unique visitors for the Referral Types report, search line item. Why is this?How can I reconfigure/adjust my settings to get search visitors to be consistent across all reports?Thanks,Walter 

Hello there ,We have a requirement that gather all the data in page for tracking and fire adobe when we are naviagting to other page(technically while form.submit()).when we do like that we are getting NS_BINDING_ABORTED since with in given time our request is not reaching Adobe server i hope.It works if we give some delay before form.submit() but we are not allowed to increase any delay in naviagation.Not sure how can we handle this?Any idea will help us a lot.Thank much in advance...

I'm hoping someone could help me figure out this unusual and annoying occurrence each and every time I log into SC.  Upon each login or after timeout, SC will run a custom report with a date range of 9/18 to current day.  (For instance today was 9/18 to 3/4).  To resolve the issue, I have deleted cookies, logged in using an alternate browser (thinking it was a cookie issue) and even deleted the report.   Though deleted, it still runs that report with the aforementioned date ranges.  It only impacts my instance, not others.  Does anyone have any ideas on settings or anything else to eliminate this annoyance?

Hi,I hope somebody can help me here. We have been experiencing issues with when testing customlinks with Firefox with the httpfox plugin. When we click on the link with is tagged with an onclick we are seeing the image request in httpfox but is given a 403 NS_BINDING_ABORTED error.  The clicks seem to still show up in the reports but we would like to stop this error from appearing.Thanks in advanceBrian

Hi all,I am not a coder and need help writing a custom script that would not fire a specific page load rule for any page with "version=flim" or "version=flam" being passed in the url. Once I'm able to do that, I will create separate page load rules for the excluded pages.The page load rule contains the same path as the pages I want to exclude from the rule (path="search-results"). The pages I want to exclude pass these variables in the URL ("version=flim" or "version=flam").I've managed to set the "custom" criteria in the "Conditions>Rule Conditions" section of the page load rule where I want to exclude the other pages (see attached). But that's as far as I've gotten.Help me write this custom code, Obi Wan. You're my only hope. Thank you for any help y'all can provide.Sincerely,- Jon

Hi,I have an implementation on a funnel where I could send a checkOut Event (I detect the step) but I don't have details of th eshopping cart.So I can't populate the product varaible with SKU, number of items or price and between a search step and the purchase I don't have others events to detect abandon etc.Is it a good idea to use a checkout event without those details?Thanks,Laurent

I need to know if I can get a report of which one of our visitors visited our site using a DESKTOP. Is that something we can run?

Are conversion events only counted within a session for a visitor arriving through a tracking code? Or is there a cookie at work to attribute future visit conversion events to that tracking code visitor (like within 30 days)?Thanks,Kim

When looking at my user id report for logged in users ( for one day ) - how come I am seeing more then one Unique Visit?  [img]userID.jpg[/img]alternatively, I've got a cookie report and that report ( for one day ) - is showing more than one unique visit on a single cookie? Am I missing something obvious here? One cookie = one user?and each authenticated/logged in user should be counted as one unique visit?thanks in advance

Hi , I am learning the Dynamic Tag Management. In the Web property creation process, under the advanced settings - there it tracking cookie - "This allows you to specify a custom name for the cookie that dynamic tag management uses to track your opt-out status for receiving other cookies."I am not able to understand this one.
