I like to insert a pdf in a HTML article with the help of pdf.js.It works perfectly in the aem preflight app, but not in our own developper test app.In our app there is the following error:XMLHttpRequest cannot load file:///var/mobile/Containers/Data/..../test.pdf. Cross origin requests are only supported for HTTP.So is it possible to set <access origin="*" /> or somithing like this on our own app, so it can load local files?Or what is the difference from our own app to the preflight app?Thanks, David

First, please forgive my ignorance of AEM, I'm just getting into it and starting to learn how everything works.Is there a way to provide a custom error message when submitting an AEM Form and invoking a Forms workflow process that uses a sendWithDocument step?We want to provide a meaningful error message to our users when an error occurs in the case when our SMTP server is down, or the user provided a well-formed email address, that might not exist.  I can see in CRXDE Lite where there is an error.jsp in /libs/fd/af/components/guidefield, is there where I can add my custom error message when exceptions occur?Also, I'm having difficulty getting the actual form submission process to error out.. I've tried everything from providing an invalid SMTP server, to using a script block in the AEM Workbench .. any input on how to test custom errors would be greatly appreciated as well.  Thanks!

Hi,I am currently having a problem where the basicTheme.css, that comes with the Forms package, is overwriting other parts of my site. Is it possible to make the Form styles only effect elements within that form?Or am I going to have to use !important in my own styles?Thanks,Karl

how to configure datefield xtype in dialog to just show list of years for selection instead of m/d/Y in aem.I tried to configure it using the format property, and was able to just get the year when i select any date from datefield. Is there a way to just show the years.

Hi All,During my recent AEM 6.2 SP1 project, there was a requirements to provide a list of images on the page.I have tried the solution Experiencing Adobe Experience Manager - Day CQ: AEM 62 - Touch UI Composite Image Multifield but I am facing some problems with the Touch UI authoring dialog, rendering sometimes more than one image drop area.There are more problems that I can describe here, if someone is interested to help :-) Also, I would like to know how to switch the component to store the images as JSON array vs sub-nodes. Let me know if you can help me find the robust solution. At this point I am stuck with this type of component(s)Thanks,Krass

Hi,I am using AEM 6.1 and having a problem which login-token cookie is a session cookie and will automatically be cleaned when browser closed.My question is, could we update the expired time for that cookie so it will be retaining for a period of time on client site. I did a lot of searches but they were only mentioning to how to configure the server site token (under "/home/users/usernode").Furthermore, if my thing is possible to do, does it cause any security problem?Is it a good practise to do it by apache mod_header (override the set-cookie response header)?Regards,Thanh

This morning, we have received numerous reports from users in our company that they are no longer able to access our company's properties within our DTM application.  As recently as yesterday, I personally was able to access our properties within DTM, but today I confirmed that I can not access them along with the others who have reported the same issue.  Logging into the application with a new browser window with a clean browsing history did not resolve the issue.  Is there a known cause for this type of company-wide access issue within DTM?  Thanks.

Hi, I have an update Data step that need to update specific records. and I am providing the columns that need to be matched on. When I try to provide a column /field which is an enumeration, the values which are configured for this column/field in the schema are not coming as a drop down.P.S. - The drop down is working fine in Fields to updateHas anyone seen this issue or knows a work around for this ?We want to avoid any manual typing in order to avoid typo error, so it is important to be able to avoid any manual entry/RegardsKanwal

Hi Folks,I am trying to perform tree activation using a Curl command. The path contains special characters (from Spanish words). So, for example, this is the command I am executing:curl -u admin:admin -F cmd=activate -F ignoredeactivated=true -F onlymodified=true -F path=/content/geometrixx/Cómo Hacer y Recibir Llamadas Telefónicas.png http://localhost:4502/etc/replication/treeactivation.html When I try to execute this command, the word "Cómo" gets processed as "Cómo", and "Telefónicas" as "Telefónicas". Since there is no file with the word "Cómo", or "Telefónicas", the command fails.Is there a way to process these special characters correctly for curl commands? Thank you.

I saw the Advanced Training at Summit (Marketo Next Training ) and management at my company is interested in having me attend. I'm concerned that it's a replay of some of the university trainings or I won't find value for a high sticker price ($1500). I'm MCE and the sole admin at my company, so my life is Marketo. None of the code I've found to change the fill color of a field seems to work for a drop down list.
