We upgraded automatically from Adobe DTM to Adobe Launch, and we have a rule which has a THEN action (action type is Set Variables) that only runs a bunch of our custom code (at the bottom of the action configuration page you click </> Open Editor to edit our custom code which controls our events' handling. Is it possible with the Launch API to update this custom code on the rule action? I can't really tell from the API docs if it's possible or not - Adobe Experience Platform Launch . The custom code is fairly lengthy, at 957 lines of code, which is a lot to send over the API every time we update.

As per help documentation provided by adobe How eVars work in Adobe Analytics, Success events and eVars are frequently defined in different image requests. is it possible to capture only success event with out associating it with any evar?Reason: we would like to ask this because we are running out of evars and would like to capture user interaction through success events only and in reports we still want to get count of interaction user has performed on the website.For Ex: On our website, we have contact-us form where in user submits the request for contact us, here we would like to capture how many users have submitted the contact-us form. Facing performance issues with HTML request being served from Publisher. As we increase Concurrency, response time start increasing drastically.The HTML has Dynamic content per user so not able to cache it on dispatcher.Please help if any other way to load this dynamic content.  Read about Sling Dynamic Include. Hey guys,we are currently running an advertising campaign in our portfolio. It runs under a specific IQ number to only track this campaign's ads. Therefore you can see the dimension in the segment. Now we only want to portray the users who saw these ads but did not click. Can you explain to me again, why the following hit segment does not work? As you can see in the second screenshot, I removed AdClick Click and still the numbers on the top right are the same. Can not this be captured in a hit since there are two different server calls? Somehow I do not quite understand the logic behind the hit Segment and these two events "AdClick Click" and "AdClick View".Thank you very much

I have created a textarea field and used already created textField java code to take input from authors for placeholder & maxlength.I have observe that authors input are stored in crx as "string[] = ,12,"(eg for maxlength).When I change the position to "string[] = 12,,"(eg for maxlength) it will work as expected.I am new to aem it would be very helpful if the explanation is as per the beginner level  .

Team,We're trying to use Adobe Offer API which is mentioned here in the document Integration via SOAP (server side) .We tried to fetch all available offers using 'Propose' method and that works fine. UpdateStatus is also working fine. My question is:We are able to update the status in the 'Update status'. However, only one field is getting updated. I want to update multiple fields using the same API call. Is there any options to add custom parameter in the method? Or is there any custom methods can be added to the offer engine API? We are trying to configure NAS Storage for Multiple Publisher Instances. What we noticed is it is creating UUID file for each instance and the content in datastore is not shared across instances. Common repository, but each instance have its own data. Is it possible that they also share same data.We wanted to use NAS to achive two things:1. Save space2. Avoid Data Syncup across Publishers. If one publisher is down and brought backup again after 1/2 days it should have access to updated data without any additional data syncup requirement.Please advice on how to achieve.

I'm building a custom object for conference attendance. My link field is "email address," but I want each year the person attended the conference to be a new entry to the object. To my understanding, the dedupe field would override the value in an existing conference entry. Is a custom object dedupe field required?

We are currently mainly using direct call rules for our tracking. Even the page view itself is a direct call rule, as we had the pageBottom fire when it shouldn't (SPA not finished initializing). All our rules follow the same pattern in the action section: 1-n Set Variables, Send Beacon, Clear Variables.One of these Set Variables actions is responsible to set s.products and s.events only on product detail pages, to track its view (prodView and a custom event). I now have the strange behaviour that these are not cleared at the end: The product detail page has multiple tabs which we only track minimalistic with the title of the tab, a custom event for tab click and some standard variables which are tracked in a doPlugin method. But the first tab I click also contains s.products and s.events values from the page view rule fired before. The second and any other on page rule are fine and do not contain them, as if the Clear Variables from the tab click rule worked and the one from the page

Hello all, we are using the AMS for AEM 6.5. I am trying to test the impersonation, but it doesnt show any users. in /useradmin i made sure admin group has all the Read/Modify/Create/Delete/Read ACL/Edit ACL/Replicate are all checked. Basically this group has access to everything. Now i am an admin in that group and i am trying to impersonate a user with lower level permissions, but i am not able to see the user. What am i doing wrong here.. Also i made sure home/users is checked.

Hi Team,We wanted to add Launch code and data layer JS in our CMS environment (AEM 6.5), for which I believe we can add the launch JS code in the head section and datalayer JS directly on the AEM 6.5 environment, I'm not sure what exactly the purpose of integrating AEM with launch. Can someone please give me some ideas why this integration is required and what is the advantage of doing this integration. We do have launch code/datalayer JS added on AEM 6.3 sites, however, we've not done any integration for this. Whether is it mandatory to do the integration of AEM 6.5 with Launch? If it's mandatory, can somebody please give some inputs on what is the purpose/use of this integration. Thank you,Ani
