Adobe Workfront Fusion

I wrote a nifty scenario, sorry I'm fairly new to Fusion and this one I'm very proud of lol, that monitors a OneDrive folder for new files and then imports the issues listed in the CSV file.   The problem is I can't make the issue show the actual requested by as any one but Fusion.  The only field I seem to be able to change is the submitted by.  Even though I update the Entered By date with a column from the CSV displaying who I want to be the requester, it changes it to Fusion every time.  Has anyone found a way around this?  We need the requester to show as the actual person in the overview section.  Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Hi All, What are the best practices to store static data(10-15 Custom TaskId's in JSON format ) in Fusion to use it in scenario for filtering purposes in JSONata module ? Changes to JSON data will happen if there is a need to add/delete TaskID when required( again not so frequently). Is it better to store this data in Setvariables or datastore or data structure ? Appreciate for any feedback/recommendations. Thanks.

Hey Fusion Community, I'm helping a customer migrate data (projects and tasks) from their soon-to-be previous project management system to Workfront. We'll be exporting files from their old PM system and I'll need to import them to Workfront, but I need to be sure said files are associated with the correct projects and tasks that are imported as well.Anyone have suggestions on how I might accomplish this in Fusion?  I'm good with importing projects and tasks, it's the part about importing files and associating with the correct projects and tasks. Thanks!Nick

If start date and end date has to be changed in 30projects suggest a fusion scenario to built.

I am attempting to trigger a scenario when a file is uploaded on to certain tasks on a project. I thought using the Template Task ID to narrow down my trigger would help but I don't seem to trigger anything when uploading. I also tried adding the PortfolioID to narrow down my trigger but that also seems to cause the scenario to miss my file uploads.  Any off in my webhook here? The file I am uploading is on the Task level, FYI. 

Hi WF Fusion Community, Does anyone have a recommended approach for the most efficient way to import new tasks that have predecessors? Also, if the external project management systems I'm exporting projects and tasks from doesn't assign a number for task order, does this kind of screw me over for attempting to ensure tasks are in the correct order when imported to Workfront? Thanks!Nick

We've been dealing with a LOT of brain-breaking issues lately. I won't rehearse them all here, but they're all basically caused by the SharePoint integration for Workfront. Just seeing the word "SharePoint" makes me want to curse. Unrelated to SharePoint, an IT engineer friend of mine shared "No as a service," which is hysterically funny to me. I love an API which only exists to provide funny and lame excuses as to why something cannot be done. It's so pointless but in the best way possible. I wanted to figure out a use for this silly thing. I needed a mental break to do something Fusion related which had nothing to do with our SharePoint misery. I have a scenario that converts an issue to a project and leaves an update for a developer, the update shows up in their email but not on the project. When I go back and look at the scenario history the whole scenario ran just fine with no errors. Has anybody encountered this before? Do you have any ideas as to what is happening? Normally for these kinds of errors I would just add a sleep module to account for processing time but this scenario has been running just fine for the past 9 months and I have never seen this error.

I briefly mentioned this in another comment but wanted to ask the question here. Last year, we talked with Adobe's training folks about developing a curriculum for an advanced Fusion training. This would not be a training which would happen right after the initial Fusion bootcamp. Rather, this would be a course one would take after a few months of using the tool. Obviously, you cannot cover everything within one bootcamp. Heck, you can't do it with two. But there are many things which most Fusion users don't know that they don't know until they're trying to build something...and they just can't figure it out (without having to engage Adobe consulting). I can think of a few things off the top of my head right now--advanced use of the HTTP module, work with arrays, custom webhooks--which would be useful for users to receive instruction.Also...we need more instructional materials on Experience League (which is a separate issue). Is this something which is being wo

We want to have fusion create a task and perform an advanced hours allocation to multiple roles (i.e. 10 hours for writer, 20 hours for designer, 30 hours for editor). Is this possible? 

I need to track and record any changes on a custom form with 341 fields... Is there a good way to accomplish this, is this even possible? 

I have a Fusion Scenario where the 1st module I invoke a HTTP Rest API. The API has a property named "status" - that can take either of the 2 values below1. Processing2. Complete I would like my scenario process further *only if* the status is complete. If the status is in processing state - The scenario should wait and retry after 60 seconds. Can anyone suggest me the ways to achieve this ?ThanksHarish

Hello Friends, Within the Adobe Fusion Dashboard, under Team Overview I am presented with two charts on the top of the page. The first is 'Team Operations for the Last Year' and the second is 'Top Scenarios by Operations'. When viewing this sceond chart, the bottom axis displays the Scenario's ID Number and when I hover my cursor over each bar, a tooltip pops-up, showing me the same ID Number... Is this the default behavior of this chart? I ask, because it would be a much better user experience if that chart was able to display the Scenario's Name, so I could quickly identify it. I have 26 active scenarios and unfortunately, I have not  committed all 26 of the scenario ID Numbers to memory. Is anyone else annoyed by this UX? Wes-

Hi all, working on making a connection between Workfront Core (Sandbox instance) and Workfront Proof. I'm trying to set up the connection module in Fusion, but I'm consistently getting a Request Timeout error when I attempt to authenticate.I've double-checked the credentials and endpoints, and everything seems to be configured correctly from my end. I've attached a screenshot for reference in case it helps identify the issue.Has anyone run into this before or can point me in the right direction? Hi, I'm using a custom API call to add Sharing permissions to an issue.  URL: issue/shareMethod: PUTQuery String: accessorObjCode = GROUP, coreAction = EDIT, accessorID = 63ae2a......., ID = 63g.........This is working fine.  What I'm struggling with is checking to see if the needed Sharing already exists on the Issue.  Is it possible?I've tried getting the accessorIDs but not sure how to get what permission is applied.I've also tried getting the accessRules, but that got me nowhere.Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks,Kelly

I know this has been asked before, but I didn't find any of the answers worked so I am bringing it up again. As the subject says, we are using a scenario to assign multiple users to a task. The basic create task module only accepts a single user ID. Updating the task with another "Assigned To ID" seems to only replace the assignment, not add to it.  Multiple people suggested using the misc action module, selecting task, then "assignMultiple" which seems pretty straightforward, but I keep getting errors. According to the module, userIDs and roleIDs are required, but I can pass "emptyarray" for the roleID.  Attaching a screenshot of the error I get, I'm not sure what it's referring to.

Does anyone have a better way to pull all group admins than pulling all the groups and including userGroups:isOwner? I'm trying to compile a list of all the group admins, but so far that's the only way I've found, and the issue I have with that is it gives me all the users in the group instead of just the owners. I'm hoping there's a better way and I'm just not seeing it.   Thanks.

Hello Everyone, I am looking for some suggestions on the Securing Webhook topic in WF Fusion. Below are the details 1. I tried to use the OOB Webhooks module to generate a Webhook, that will be used by a third party to POST Json objects. 2. I would like to consume this data & perform a mapping functionality, that'll be later used to create a Workfront object. The Questions I have are as below, 1. How do I secure this webhook ? IP whitelisting would not work in my case as we are using ALB of GCP (i.e) Dynamic IP. Note: the reply on this post wasn't helpful because the user who posts the json doesn't have to be on WF.2. Frame.io seems like a good alternative to webhooks, but does it come with an additional cost ? Thanks in advance !

Hi all, I've noticed that some of my legacy search modules on one of my Scenarios have started failing. This Scenario is a biggie, but not the biggest one of our collection. The error message: [500] Database error due to invalid SQL statement. The solve is pretty straightforward: Swapping to the newer search modules. But the thing which is mildly terrifying is that they're failing one by one at different intervals. I try to reduce the number of search modules because I want to find all the data that I need pretty early on. That said, for some of our "Swiss Army Knife" style Scenarios, we need different search modules for different objects.  Are other people noticing similar behavior from their search modules? I'm not going to lie, it's mildly terrifying--especially since I'm on vacation in a little over a week. &#x1f605 -j
