Adobe Workfront Fusion

 I'm doing an API call of Hours data and I'm not sure how to filter a certain date range in the queue string.  Does anyone know how I would filter that? I want Hours logged this year or at least Hour Entry Date greater than Jan 1 2024. 

I am working on configuring module in Fusion -"Watch a record", want to add & use optional filter for filtering only specific records meeting the criteria using API query. Tried adding API query but receiving error - "The operation failed with an error. [422] APIModel V17_0 does not support field property (Task)".Want to check what API Query format is acceptable or should we use for this module, will appreciate any example sharing.    

I am trying to have Fusion auto assign the Project Owner to tasks (we tagged them with role of Project Manager) by using the Project Owner ID for that project. I have set up Search and Update modules for Tasks, but am not seeing a way for Fusion to pull in the Project Owner ID to assign. For example, on another automation I have set up I can pull the Project Owner ID without assigning the actual person. Does anyone know if this is possible? I am stumped. Thanks!

I am just getting to grips with Fusion 2.0 and one of the great additions (something we have been crying out for) is the Microsoft Word Template function. My initial questions/observations are: Line spacing seems not to have any effect here, i have even tried to use the "carriagereturn" and "newline" text functions but this still results in the string of text in one line. It would be great if this card could deal with this as currently some trial reports i have created are not as legible as i would have hopedI cant see any help around the card in the documentation, so i was after some information on how the Value Type "Condition" and "Loop or section" works? This is a great addition to Fusion and i want to be able to get the most out of it! Thanks

Hello,According to the Adobe documentation on Microsoft Word Template Module, I should be able to loop through information using this format:{{#parentTask}}   {{parentTaskName}}{{/parentTask}} I would like to compile documentation on Workfront tasks and their children subtasks and would like to accomplish a sort of nested loop. Something that would probably have the same concept as:{{#parentTasks}}   {{parentTaskName}}   {{#childrenTasks}}      {{childTaskName}}   {{/childrenTasks}}{{/parentTasks}} I imagine the scenario would look something like this with an aggregator for the children and an aggregator for the parents, however I keep running into the issue of not being able to get all the children and the parents at the same time. I've tried a text aggregator which ultimately accomplishes the task, but no matter what I do, inputting the text into a word doc squashes all formatting and it ends up looking like poop.&

We are working on a POC where we would like to automate document movement between tasks in workfront project. For example if one assignee(say author or designer) has finished working on a task in a project & its associated document, that document should further auto link to another task assignee(say reviewer or approver) so that they can start work on it & document automation goes on in same way to next tasks as well.We are in discovery phase/research phase for possible solutions around above POC. So want to check, if Workfront fusion helps in creating such automation through code programming or setting up workflow, etc.  Any suggestions/use case sharing would be appreciated.

I'm creating a business case for connecting Workfront Fusion to Excel (aka SharePoint) via a Microsoft Form. To do so requires approval from our IT Admin department. I would like to provide them with some technical documentation around what will happen when I allow access to my account. Things like, what all does it have access to, ability to read, ability to write, etc. What are the security risk and implications?   I have not been able to find any of this information on experience league. When I reached out to support in short I was told there isn't any documentation on it available which isn't proving fruitful in my use case in showing the organization that it won't pose a risk. Has anyone been able to push image files from WF to Bynder using the Bynder module? I can get .txt, ,docx, .xlsx, .ppt but cannot get any .jpg, .ai, .png.,psd, .pdf, .tif to work. The module times out after 40 minutes for image file types. Thanks! Doug

I have a custom field that is a typeahead from the user object. In Fusion, that custom field is passed as:'{"objCode":"USER","name":"Anushka XXXX","ID":"64ad05ec00xxxx52aed8fa3f4"}Is there an easy way to parse out the name or ID out of this?  Can I do this with a map() function?

Has anyone used a WF calendar in another tool like SharePoint, Confluence, or even subscribe by URL? I'm curious if we can create a calendar URL via Fusion that will let us 'subscribe' to the calendar details. Or has anyone fed something into another calendar format?

Hi,  We have an existing scenario that uses webhook to look at submitted issues under a specific project ID. We are using that scenario to create projects based on the request needs.  Right now we would like to add another modules to be able to read documents attached to the submitted issue and then upload the documents into the projects to be created. Though we are running into some errors when it comes to read documents from issue module.  This is the webhook we are using to look for submitted issues:  This is the read record module setup we use to look at documents attached into the submitted issues:  This is the error we received from read a record module above:  For some reason, the module was looking for document ID with the issue ID provided. I have a scenario built that automatically sets up users in Workfront.  I'm working on a new route, if an email address is spelled incorrectly, fusion will comment and tag the requester comment on the issue/request(which I've done), and then ignore the issue until the email address is corrected in the request.   Let me know if you have any further questions.

Is there a limit to how many teams you can create in Fusion?

Hello,I'm using the Workfront Misc Module to create a project record and within that module, I am asking it to update project status. However, I noticed the drop down list consist of just the default statuses (e.g. On Hold, Current, In Progress, Rejected) and do not display any custom statuses that are specific to a group. How do I add or use a custom status that is not on the drop down list?

Does anyone have an example of how to create a Queue Topic Group (QUETGP)?I keep getting errors around the parentID ...and not sure what I would put in there. Honestly, I don't understand why a Topic Group would even need a parent.  Isn't the hierarchy:QUED (queue) --> QUETGP (topic group) --> QUET (queue topic)?

I have a scenario that runs nightly.  I occasionally check its history, and I keep seeing something odd.  When I first click on the history tab, there's an execution that lacks a start date (this was a run-once execution from when I was first testing the scenario):If I scroll down through the history and scroll back up, the missing date then appears:If I try sorting the list (in either ascending or descending order), this item always remains at the top:Has anyone else encountered this?  Is it possible to delete an execution item from the history?Thanks.

Hello, Maybe I'm just missing something, but is there any easy possibility in Fusion to add an assignment to a task, if there is already someone assigned. Using the Misc Action module with the action assign leads to the fact that any existing assignments will be overwritten. So, from my current point of view I only see a solution in reading the collection of assignments and include them into the final assignment call. As my scenario is triggered by a watch event, which should start if a specific status is chosen, I do not see any possibility to access the collection directly without going the extra mile to use something like the Read related records module.Perhaps someone has an idea to simplify this process.  Thanks in advance. RegardsLars

Can you use Fusion to create an automation to add a folder with the folder name matching the project name in a file server when the project goes from Planning to Current. Similarly, when the project is completed can Fusion automate the moving of the folder to an archive file server.
