Race condition when creating project from template

I'm tasked with creating a scenario to update the planned completion time of certain tasks to 6:00. I have figured this out already but have encountered some strange issues solely when creating from a template. It seems that the scenario runs too fast before the creation of the project and all its tasks can be created via the template and does not update the completion time of the tasks that I want because it is using the project defaults. I have fixed this using a 1 second sleep module but I was wondering if there was a better way to solve this issue without using extra operations?
