Proof decision - Reject reason w/version tracking

Hi there,

I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas or solutions on how to report on Rejected Proof Decisions?

Our organization uses Proof Decisions and would like to track why a Proof was Rejected; requesting a new proof. We want to be able to track the reasons behind multiple versions of proofs.

I was thinking if its possible to trigger a pop-up (dropdown) selection as to why a proof was being rejected - using a custom form; while associating it to the document version. Can Fusion do this?

OR... am I overthinking this and there's already a natural solution for this in the Workfront system.

I really don't know if that's possible (or perhaps I should say satisfactory).

I do see that there's functionality in Proof to allow for this, and I'm including a link to a few older questions referring to this functionality.

I just don't think it's possible to get good reporting out of this -- not in Workfront at any rate, and maybe not even very satisfactory in Proof. To this end, I'm including a link to a feature request asking for this to be more visible.

I'm unaware of an existing function that would accomplish the qualitative tracking you need, so I think you're on the right track, @ruby_aran, with the custom form. But there are limitations. Yes, you can build that custom form and attach it to the document, however adding a user to the proof workflow doesn't cascade access to the document or any custom form attached to the document. You would then need to ensure the Share permissions are set to the proof participants, too.

Is anyone else aware of a simpler approach?

Someone else with Fusion experience might be able to chime in about a Fusion scenario.
