Hi friends! We have a milestone path we've attached to certain projects. I've gotten a request to create a board where the milestones are the columns. I've searched some, I've played some, but I can't seem to figure it out. Is this possible?

Hi. I know that deleting a custom form also deletes all custom data on the objects associated with the form. But does that mean it deletes ALL data that a particular field holds across ANY custom forms where that field may live? For example, if a have "Custom Form A" that uses a field that records which department is making the request. And "Custom Form B" that uses the same field. What happens to the data associated with that field for "Custom Form A" if I delete "Custom Form B."  Can I delete one custom form and still keep historical data for other custom forms that use the same fields? Hope my question makes sense.

Would love to hear from the developers themselves at this point. Is it difficult to integrate into the platform? I have Workfront open all day, and the plain white background hurts my eyes after prolonged use. A dark mode would surely be appreciated by me and COUNTLESS others. I believe this is an accessibility issue at this point. 

We're looking to incorporating a DAM and want to know what experiences you have had (good and bad) with what's out there. I believe some people use box.com also for this purpose but it's limited in what we are looking to do. Thanks for your feedback!

Hello,I need to create a report to filter out 2 specific tasks:1) Task 1 - Asset Audit2) Task 2 - Build I want to filter out projects where Task 2 is in progress and Task 1 is not complete.Task 1 - Actual end date is blank & Task 2 - Actual start end is not blank When I tried "OR" in the filter, it either shows Task 1 / Task 2. I need to filter out the combination of task 1 + status & task 2 + status.  Is there a way to create a filter for this combination?

Hi all,We have a complex WBS. In this WBS, there is a parent task called 'Custom'. It has many subtasks, and many of them also have subtasks. If we have no 'Custom' in the project, we close down the tasks. If we have more than one, we will copy the parent item and all its subtasks so that we can track and schedule each custom individually. Each 'Custom' has a unique ID, and on tasks, we have a field called "Custom ID". We want to enter the ID on the parent field and have this populate to all subtasks under the parent. Can this be done?

  Hi Folks,   Over the years, we have helped many former Workfront customers download their Workfront data (via our Workfront Snapshot solution) and documents once they had decided (unfortunately) the time had come to leave.   During one of our more recent such engagements, we were inspired (under some duress) to adapt our Extract Document technology in a way that allowed our client to download their ~250,000 documents directly from Workfront to their network. The new technique worked beautifully, with 99.8% of all documents successfully retrieved on the first try, albeit over the course of nearly 4 days of computing time.   That advance has now led us to the release our new Doc Sync solution, which lets you schedule one or more jobs to Synchronize filtered Documents into a target folder on your local network for expanded access and backup purposes, as the screenshot below illustrates.   However, all that also all got us wondering, and prompted us to start

Just curious if anybody has started using the new Array function.  If so how are you using it? I'm not quite sure how the function works as I've tested a few things but the field didnt' generate anything.   Is this functionality mainly for Fusion customers? 

We have a calendar that displays specific tasks on projects. However, because of the phrasing we have of our project names it can be hard to read.   Is there a way to delimit text by character? For example 999999-PSG-Project Name   The numbers and the letters may vary in length. I'm not sure how to separate the 'Project Name' from the rest of it.   Or create a calculated field that only pays attention to what's after the second hyphen?

I was asked by a developer if there is a way to update the devices listed in Workfront Proof for Desktop. I rarely use this product so I wasn't sure of the answer. The latest iPhone is iPhone X. Is there a way to update those?

Seeking some input on comparing dates in a report filter. Basically I have a calculated column that displays a message if the DATEDIFF between the Task's plannedStartDate and the Project's plannedStartDate is greater than 5 days. However, my filter for the report brings in all tasks where the Task's plannedStartDate is not equal to the Project's plannedStartDate. Since both the date and time are used for these dates, I'm getting more results than I'd like (for example, the Task plannedStartDate is April 3, 2025 at 9:00AM and the Project plannedStartDate is April 3 2025 at 9:15AM. What I really want is to update the report filter to match my calculated column - so only instances where there is a difference of 5 days or more. Any suggestions on how to make this work? I've explored using calculated fields to accomplish this but I'm not willing to go that route at this time. Thanks all!

I find the sharing functionality of request queues very limiting. We want the ability to specify more than one group that we want to have access to the queue rather than just the one the project is tied to. The current 4 choices for who can add requests to this queue do not fit this criteria and here's why:Anyone - this is okay if you're the only group using the tool. However, if your tool is at an enterprise level, then the list of request queues are too much.People with view access to this project - we don't want to give our clients access to our projects. They are the main group submitting requests.People in this project's company - We have requestors across multiple companies.People in this project's group - one group is not enough

I need to be able to group and bar chart a task report by the current task's predecessor's parent name. I've created columns on the task report that show the correct results using this text mode: Predecessor name: displayname=Preceding Tasklistdelimiter=listmethod=nested(predecessors).liststype=iteratevalueexpression={predecessor}.{name}valueformat=HTML Predecessor parent name: displayname=Predecessor parent namelistdelimiter=listmethod=nested(predecessors).liststype=iteratevalueexpression={predecessor}.{parent}.{name}valueformat=HTML However, I'm unable to group or chart with these values.  So I'm thinking of creating a calculated field on the task that captures the predecessor and predecessor's parent so that grouping and charting will be possible. But, I can't figure out the code because {predecessor} is invalid. Any suggestions on the field calculation, or how to group by the text mode column?

Hi all! My team is looking to allow external users from our company to access a request form. We do not know who the individuals are specifically - they can be from across the company. We currently also have admin console, and we use SSO to access Workfront. What are some options for external users from the company to access the request link to fill out the form?

Any Workfront users that use Workfront for something other than Marketing Campaigns?   Looking to connect with other Workfront Users that use Workfront for more than marketing.   We are a manufacturing company that uses Workfront as our Operational System of Record.   I would like to connect during Summit if possible.   We will have 3 sys admins from our company attending this year. Looking forward to Networking at Summit!!!
