Adobe Target

Hi Team, Wanted to check if there is any API that gives us the Recs feed status?Or is it UI only that tells the Recs Feed status ?

Hello,Hoping someone can shed some light on an issue we're having.  We just launched an activity but we are seeing content from experience A on Experience B at the bottom of the page.  This has never happened before.  Hoping someone has experienced the same or similar. Thank you very much in advance.Alex

Hello, I'm looking to to use Adobe Target to run a randomly cycling set of experiences for our website visitors. I.e displaying one of x number of experiences every time they view our webpage, with the experience determined purely by chance. Does anyone know how to: 1) Set up an activity that does this completely randomly (i.e they could see the same experience multiple times), and2) Set up this activity so that the experience is shown randomly, but does not allow a visitor to see the same experience twice in a row. I assume there may be a profile script based solution to this, but am unsure of how to approach this myself. Any help would be hugely appreciated!

I've uploaded a file under People > Customer Attributes, which maps customer ID to a variable (called restrictedItemsCatalogId) containing a numeric value. I am trying to use this inside of recommendation criteria in order to filter out items from being shown to a given customer. How I'm envisioning this working is: If restrictedItemsCatalogId on the product does not match restrictedItemsCatalogId on the user profile, include this item in the recommendation. When I do a Target trace I can see the restrictedItemsCatalogId and value in the user profile data, however, when I try to include this variable (as it's shown in the trace) in inclusion rules inside the recommendation criteria it does not let me save the criteria. I am attempting to do this with Profile Attribute Matching. So this question has two parts:Is this something Customer Attributes can be used for?If so, how can I access this data inside of the recommendation criteria?I've looked through all the doc

Hello, I'm looking to create an experience targeting activity within Adobe Target that shows multiple different audiences of visitors personalised webpage experiences. As part of this I want to hold out a control population that I can measure the personalisation against. In the A/B testing activity it is easy to hold a control, but in experience targeting not so much. Can anyone please explain how to best do this in this particular circumstance?  Thanks!

After migrating from DTM to Launch, the Target property token is no longer getting automatically detected within the Target VEC. Within Launch, we are using the latest version of the Adobe Target extension. We have a Page Top rule configured to Load Target then Add at_property to All Mboxes then Fire Global Mbox. We would expect with this setup, that the Target property token would be present at the time that the Target VEC tries to detect it. Has anyone else experienced this issue. Is there something wrong with our Launch rule setup?

Hi All,I am trying to achieve a use case where I want to enable an activity on all site pages. Example - We have a common header AEM component across all pages for which I want to setup an A/B experience for two different experiences I want to show. I have setup an activity using VEC in Adobe Target on the homepage. I know there is an option to add additional pages but what if I want to enable it all pages across the site. Can you suggest the best way to implement this? Regards,AB

Hi Team, Just wanted to ask if Adobe Target supports IPv6. if not can anyone advise if there is any Release date for this ? Thank you.

Hi, It seems like your support system is not working quite right. I get a popup on the page that the notification is created, and that I should receive an email confirmation - but I never do. I've created a ticket about three weeks ago, and two today - not a single email or response from Adobe.  I realize this is not a specific "Target" issue - but the tickets I submitted were regarding Target

Hello! I am interested in pulling newly launched products into a recommendations carousel. I assumed I could simply set up a collection, but I see no obvious way how. Any tips? Thanks!

Hello Team, If we have an A/B testing solution for the main website, could we also leverage it within the embedded web components in Adobe Target ?Wouldn’t it mean embedding the required JavaScripts within the web components? What would be the restrictions?   Thanks,HarSingh

Hi Team, We are using customer attribute to upload the offline data in experience cloud. The data file contains the CustomerId as first column and we are passing this customerid in the thirdPartyId in the target call. The customerId value in data file is in doublquotes however the value that we are passing in thirdPartyId is without doubl quotes so targeting doesnt work using crs data source. As a workaround we used escape characters in the code at target end so that value in double quotes is passedNow I can see the value passing like this and the targeting also works:  so wanted to ask if this fine and it would not break anything else.

I'm trying to make a simple dashboard with requirements that look like this: Unique visitorsHad impression of one of multiple Target Activities, with Acitivity name contains text 'xyz' The above-mentioned Target Activities were seen in a sub-domain of website, which can be identifieid by page contains text 'abc'Now, when I tried to make this in calculated metrics/manual stack segment in analysis workspace, it included far wider range of users, as it was not possible to isolate Target Activity of current impression and combine with pageview page name condition. Instead, it was filtered from the most recent 150 Target Activities stored in tnt variable as well.  Is there any way we could isolate the hit level condition to the (current impression of Target Activity), and current page hit, and apply to aggregate unique users who satisfy that conditon?  Reading this article below, tnt_post_action would have only the current Target impression information, an

If a machine is shared by multiple users, how can you update a user's audience on log in and then clear it on log out? In our example, we target a banner in our logged in app to an audience A.A user, who qualifies for audience A, logs in and sees the Target banner in the app. That user logs out, but does not close the browser window. In the same session, a user, who does not qualify for audience A, logs in and also sees the Target banner in the app. This is the wrong behavior.  How should I set up targeting so that ONLY users who qualify for an experience because of their log-in information see a Target experience? When the user logs out, that qualification should be forgotten. Thanks,Keith

I've created an experience that displays on a SPA triggerView() event. it works as expected the first time that the triggerView() page is loaded or when the app view is changed to that triggerView(). However, if the page displaying the experience called by the triggerView() is reloaded, then the trigger doesn't fire and the experience doesn't display until the triggerView is fired again by navigating the app. I reached out to the team that manages Launch for us and their response was that the triggerView() function is set to fire on URL hash change via Launch. That explains why the trigger and the experience don't fire on page reload, but it doesn't tell me how to ensure that the experience displays on page reload.  Has anyone dealt with a similar problem? What's the solution? Thanks,Keith

We have a requirement to change customer experience based on presence of a secure cookie (just yes/no). How to achieve this using experience targeting?

Hi all, I'm building up an A/B activity based on this use case:starting audience: all visitors landing on a specific page, coming from adv campaign (i.e. utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign are present in query string and have a significant value)50% will see control experiencethe other 50% will see an overlay on page, showing a promotional message and a CTA to guide the user towards website's registration funnel (first page personalization)on registration form thank you page, I have to edit some content (text and link of the "continue" CTA) (additional page personalization)This is how I've set the audience: Now this works pretty fine when landing on the first page.Inside the test experience I've set multiple pages; the landing one and the form thank you page. While the landing page is correctly showing the personalization, the TYP is never getting the personalization content. Obviously, UTM parameters are not persisted in query string on the TYP, but I was expe

Dear All, I'm facing problem in my SPA website, i have created a A/B testing activity. it is working at the very first time but when ever I'm reloading page target API call is not happened. can anyone please help me to fix this bug. Thanks

Hi, What is the limit that we can display in recently viewed products recommendations? I read a document which says 99 but I could only display up to 35-40  recently viewed products and if I refresh the page the products come down to random number. Thanks in Advance.

Hi all!We are trying to create a recommendation criteria to show the 20 most visited articles in a certain category.Everything is logically based on the Popularity - Most Visited recommendation key, but after testing it with the design template, we never got the full 20 articles (not even activating the backup options). We get 2,3, 4 ... but never in full.Is there a way to get a simple list of 20/30/40... most visited articles of any category? Why don't the activated backup options complete the design template with any entity of the same category? Thanks in advance.

Hello guys, Is there some documentation about how to create custom Criteria for Adobe Target Recommendation? From the template I have the below columnAny suggestion?Thnaks

Hello guys,I need to choose if I use Regional Mbox or Global Mbox, Are there some best practice to be followed for this choice?ThanksLuca

Hello guys, My client wants to use Adobe Recommendation and integrate the response to be recommended with external Product Catalog/Content System via APIs. My idea is integrate Product Data before Apply Offer Call.Anyone has similar experience?ThanksLuca

Hi all!We are trying to eliminate several criteria that we have created for testing, but we constantly get the following message:[ERROR Criteria cannot be deleted because it is in use by one or more activities. To delete this criteria, first delete all activities which reference it. (Reference name (s): 0.5815426299049302,0.5355434575526251,0.7693591864131171,0.08126863997144707)] We have tried to locate those references to eliminate them and be able to delete the criteria, but it's impossible to find them.None of them are active and from the API we don't see any activity with those IDs either. So, is there a simple way to eliminate criterias?Thank you in advance.

I'm trying to work with user profile data (category affinity specifically) to implement a custom solution. I'm wondering if it's possible to read that data using JavaScript rather than using Target's built-in category affinity options. I can see this data in the mbox JSON file that's being loaded on our site if I enable the Target trace, but I haven't found a way to access that data programmatically.
