Adobe Target

Hi, I am setting up my first AT test and found that my activity did not run at all after I activated it. I went to check in the collision tab and saw that some of the past inactivate AT test might be affecting the same page but I am not sure if my assumption is correct.  How do I remove these roadblocks as these inactive AT tests have stopped running more than 3 years ago.Any advice and guidance on this will be most appreciated.     Thanks!Jean

Hi!  I'm looking to target users that have visited jobs.dropbox.com/teams/engineering at any point in the last 30 days, not just those whose last page visit was this URL. I have an A/B test dashboard set up using A4T segments.  I am seeing activities that are specific to the challenger being pulled into the CONTROL group. In this case, activity links that are specific to the challenger only, are being reported as click activities within the Control group. What might be happening here?  My assumption is if they are the control group, then they are excluded from seeing the challenger experience.  And if they cleared their cookie/browser history, then they shouldn't be identifiable as control and they would be grouped into challenger experience as new visitor. I didn't think the two would overlap.  It's not a high number less than 10 but I want to understand why this is happening.  Thanks.

I've set up an basic Activity with "All visitors" targeted. Within the Activity the only modification I made was executing a javascript console log. When I open the QA link I see the console log being made. Only when I navigate to another page the console log is no longer made. When I return to the original page the console log is made again. So the preview persists throughout my session. But it only fires on the initial page I configured when creating the Activity. With "All visitors" targeted, should'nt the Activity fire on all pages?

I am doing A/B Test with a change in the top navigation of my site. The top navigation of my site is designed in a way that you can click it to navigate on my site from any page. It is like It stays on the top of every page. An example of a top navigation drop-down is as below. I have created an experience with changes in the names of the dropdown links.  However, the changes in my Exp B that I have done in the Top Navigation drop-down names are only getting reflected on the home page <https://www.amgweb.com> which I entered as an activity URL when started creating the A/B test. I want my changes to be shown on every page. How can I fix that? Also, can we create 3 or more experiences in the A/B test and select an auto-allocate targeting methodology?  .                       Thanks

I have enabled some configurations in Launch and Adobe Target to capture the category affinity of users but it's not working for me. I created a rule in Launch and configured category affinity as mbox param using "user.categoryId". It's further mapped to a data element capturing the page's product category type.  And, In Target I created a profile script as below screenshot and mapped it for audience creation   I tried to put mbox trace but I don't know why for my visits I am unable to see affinity for my product category, I am seeing below thing in value [luxury] I don't know from where it's coming up what is that? Am I missing something setting up CA?

Hey Community 🙂 We utilize a system of (really two) numeric IDs in the URL string after a user clicks on an ad that represents which exact creative (d_creative=) and which advertising channel, audience, etc (sc_dcm=) the user saw/clicked on to make it to our website.So a final URL string could look as such for two different users:URL: http://www.example.com/path1/path2/path3?d_creative=12345&sc_dcm=678910URL 2: http://www.example.com/path1/path2/path3?d_creative=34567&sc_dcm=78911These IDs all then live in flat, simple (automatically updated) data lookup tables that translate the numeric values to a human readable name.e.g. for the two creative values:Creative ID | Creative Name12345 | product1_cta-example-a34567 | product2_cta-example-a... | .... I want to be able to run AB tests that consistently drop a user into a specific (randomized) experiment experience - no matter which browser they sign in on.   The experience is post sign in - so essentially I want to randomly assign user ids to test and control - as opposed to visitor ids.   Is this possible?  I cannot find out how to do this in the documentation.  Can someone point me in the right direction - I may be looking for the wrong thing!Thanks,Matt

We have used AT as a reporting source for an A/B test activity. Now, for our additional analysis on this audience list selected for this activity, we wanted to create an audience and share those with Adobe Analytics workspace. I know this would have been easier if we had used AA as reporting source rather than AT. But, how should one perform additional analysis when AT is used for reporting?

I have created an AB testing with a page delivery contain rule of an URL. Will my click tracking goal will work on selected element on VEC or on all the pages which contain the rule for the activity Thanks

Hi all, we have an active A/B Test in Target on one of our pages: In Analytics dimension "Analytics for Target" this activity id is displayed with proper metrics:But in Analytics dimension "Target Activity > Experience" this is not mapped to the names of experiences "ATAT-81" is the name of the activity in Target, which should be displayed. We were under the impression that this is mapped automatically. Is this a bug or is there anything we can do to reestablish the mapping? Any feedback is highly appreciated. Kind regards,Tom

Hi, I have a map #set ($mymap={"keyname":"value1,value2"})The key name will be dynamic in my case, hence tried"$mymap[$dynamickeyname]" where $dynamickeyname evaluates to keyname. But throws a parse error.It is not working in the target's velocity template.I have tried $!mymap.get("$!dynamickeyname") as well which is not working either.Can you please assist with the right syntax to retrieve the map values dynamically. 

We are trying to measure the success of our test based on logged in counts. Since we are running into issues for measuring this count through Adobe Analytics success event because a user can navigate from one report suite to other (depending on inter-domain navigation). We wanted to understand if we can use an element that is common across domain. We do have a window object that gets set based on the user authentication status, so, we were wondering if there's a way to use this object to define goal metric in Adobe Target test?

Hi,I want to implement a usecase where the requirement is to have the same experience on multiple pages.Its actually a change in Header which we want to implement for a specific set of pages for a specific audience. for example setting an activity on below url/content/a/b/c.htmlmade some changes here on page "c', and Now I want to have similar experience on all the pages comes after "c" in content hierarchy .example /content/a/b/c/d.html/content/a/b/c/e.html/content/a/b/c/f.htmletc.. I tried Page delivery option with additional template rulesas URL contains "c"or path contains "c"  like this many things. But that did not worked.. I tried Adding pages functionality as well it worked but then I have to add all pages again and again and make changes in each one of them...if anyone has implemented this before please do let me know.

I am using Adobe Target premium with AEP Web SDK but still not able to find the "offer decision" option in any of the A/B test or XT activity. Please suggest if you face this issue.

Can we apply Regex(shown below) in Adobe Target instead? As we cannot find a rule that fit our URL./\/b\/c\/d\/[a-z]+/iAs we don't need to apply the rule on \/b\c\d page but on the \/b\c\d\e Let me know if anyone knows a workaround here to fit in the activity URL

Hello all,   Has anyone ever got this to work? https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/integrate/a4t/a4timplementation.html?lang=fr#step7   I need to control whether or not to share de SDID between Analytics and Target, so I'm triggering this code when I don't have the user's consent to avoid sharing the SDID:   window.targetGlobalSettings = { analyticsLogging: "client_side" };     This is done in Launch before the "Load Target" Action is triggered but Target doesn't take it into consideration, I'm still getting the SDID in the following analytics hits, and I don't get the analytics payload in the response from the target call, even though I have this in the target call:     I discovered I can block the analytics hit from getting the SDID if I do this:   s.visitor._isAllowedFlag = false; //or in doPlugins: s.visitor._supplementalDataIDCurrent = "";   But I don't know what could be the side effects of this (nowhere to be
