Adobe Target

Hi Experts,   We have implemented Adobe Target through Web SDK (async) and added pre-hiding snippet. Hi Community, I've searched for this answer on documentation and community but couldn't manage to find any. We've created an A/B test activity and set the goal to "Viewed an mbox", with the following (fictional) values:  We're triggering an:adobe.target.trackEvent({ "mbox": "ABCD" //or "WXYZ" });when the user clicks the desired element. We're correctly tracking the total amount of conversions, but we are unable to breakdown by ABCD/WXYZ mbox both on Target reporting and Analytics Workspace (we're using A4T as the reporting source), since there is no option or Workspace dimension to use for breaking down/segmenting the traffic. Is there really no way to get to know this detail for the conversions, or are we missing some steps?  Kind regards,Daniele

I'm currently exploring Adobe Target and considering setting up a sophisticated and customizable approval workflow within the platform. The envisioned workflow would involve multiple levels of approval, perhaps 2-3, before any activity is ready to be published.

Hi all,Im trying to upload a list of recommended products using the .csv format. The file is stored in AEM and published correctly, however Adobe Target keep displaying "waiting for download" and after a while it displays "Unknown Error".The file can be downloaded from the browser using the URL. Thanks for your help. Mauricio.

Hi there, Is there any best practice for updating the traffic allocation for a live activity?I know that It can be done easily and the new traffic allocation will have an impact on the numbers in the Report. Thus, the analysis should be done by keeping this update in mind. Other than this, is there anything else I should be aware of? Thanks,Khush

Hi All I have setup a activity to just test the Mobile:is Tablet audience and somehow this is not working for me. I digged further and found out that the user-agent which is sent in headers is used to map all the values and then target based on those values. I have tested in mac os simulator and copied the user agent for both Ipad and iphone and using this URL(https://deviceatlas.com/device-data/user-agent-tester) I am checking for the values. I also debugged a iphone and its user agent and found the values similar to the simulator. Hello, I am working on trying to come up with a solution for a Target Activity I am building where I essentially need to turn off the offer/experience once 50 visitors have seen the experience. Is anyone aware of a way to code the offer to disappear/hide after 50 people see it during a 24 hour period? Or conversely, a way to set the Experience Targeting part of the Activity to a count instead of a split percentage (ie - 50 people go to Experience and all else go to Control)? Any help/direction is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!RC

I haven't been able to figure out how to access the value of the current entity anywhere and can't find any explanation in the docs. In this specific case, I want to track the number of times members of certain Audience have viewed an item. Right now I have an Activity which updates a boolean entity attribute once a single member of that Audience has viewed the item. However, what I want to do is get the current number of views and then increment it. This is one example, but it's something I'm repeatedly running into when I need to update an entity attribute based on its current value.

Hello Target Community, i want to track a click event of an Element on my Page, if the element is clicked the user should be in a specific audience.  i tried this example  https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-cloud-kcs/kbarticles/ka-14550 but changed the code to: adobe.target.trackEvent({mbox: 'target-global-mbox', params: {'person': 'private'}}) in my profile script i try to read it out like this:if (mbox.name == 'target-global-mbox') { var x = mbox.param('person') return x; } and try to add a audience based on that like this: but the audience is not picking because the site is not changing. Am i missing something here?   

We are seeing difference in traffic numbers for an A/B activity configured in Adobe Target in Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics. The issue is that only a percentage of total users who visited the page during the testing window (as per Analytics) are triggering the test. E.g. If the page receives 1,000 visitors in a month, the test will only trigger 500 users. The team thinks it could be Target triggering issue.Could you help with the steps that we should be checking in order to analyse this issue.    

Our team is migrating our Target implementation from at.js to Alloy. Currently, we use a getOffers() call to retrieve recommendations for multiple mBoxes, which allows us to pass different parameters for each mBox (for example, we are using excludedIds for one activity, but don't want those products to be excluded from the other activity). Does Alloy provide the ability to achieve this same functionality? We are able to pass an array of mBoxes into the Alloy call with collective parameters; but have yet to figure out how to map specific parameters to a particular mbox request. Any insight would be great, thanks!

Hi Everyone,I am trying to get an Angular-based SPA working in Visual Experience Composer. The application has the following in targetGlobalSettings:{ cookieDomain: <domain here>, viewsEnabled: true, pageLoadEnabled: true }The application uses AEP Data Collection (Adobe Launch) to load Target and initiate adobe.target.triggerView(<view_name>);This works fine when I open the application in the browser: the personalization IS applied for the appropriate view.However, when I open the application in VEC, it displays the "Current view" element in about 10% of occurrences, most of the time "Current View" is not displayed.I am using "Adobe Experience Cloud Visual Editing Helper" extension, I am not using the Enahnced Composer. When I check in the console what targetGlobalSettings contains, I see {cookieDomain: <domain here>, viewsEnabled: true, pageLoadEnabled: true }.When I try to trigger adobe.target.triggerView('home') from the console, "Current View" item does not a

Hi everyone,I’m currently facing an issue with an activity where I’ve uploaded a dataset into the "People" section. I’m using this dataset for targeting in the visitor profile within Adobe Target, but some users who are not part of this dataset are still receiving the experience. Has anyone else encountered this? I have implemented server-side rendering with NodeSDK on the React code base. I am getting an error(screenshot attached). Can someone help me with that, please? I believe targetclient.browser.js is served from the SDK? maybe I am missing something? ThanksPraveen

Hello community,  I have a very worrisome trouble in my recent implementation of Target with webSDK. One of my clients has recently implemented Target using alloy.js via Google Tag Manager. Using the Experience Platform Debugger and Omnibug I can see that calls to Adobe Target are made in every page sending the expected data. The problem is that when activating activities I do not receive any data in the reports. When I review the network calls in a page with an activity live I can see the two expected calls: regular "interact" call + "decisioning.propositionDisplay" call to signal the view of an activity. I do not have clues on what is happening in this case. Where should I start? Thank you very much!

Hi, I am new to Target.  I am trying to show recommendation based on category affinity. I have used user based recommendation algorithm with the filter key as user.categoryAffinities inside the criteria. But the recommendation is not populating. I tried to find the document on category affinity but in every document it tells about experience targeting and not the recommendation activity.  Could any one can help me to cater the recommendation on the above mentioned scenario.    Thanks in advance.  Deepak Kumar  

I want to add adobe target to logged in user platform. Could you please advise how can I able to add them ? I have just enabled the dataStream. When I add the dev environment link I can only get to the sign page. How can I able to go the home dashboard of the user ? Please assist here. 

Hello,I'm wondering if anyone has experienced similar issues with saving a Front Promotion within a Recommendation component...I have a previously created XT activity that is live and I'm trying to add a list of Front Promotions to the component to fill position 1 of the design with a random item order option selected. I've tried deactivating the activity and making the update as well as updating the live experience, neither method seems to save successfully. I keep getting an error message stating the activity was unsuccessfully saved. Any ideas why? Any workaround here? Is it just that I'm unable to add a promotion to an activity that has previously been live on the site? Assuming if this is the case then I'd have to copy this activity and make a new one, this time including the front promotion in the build?

I am building workflow in Adobe Campaign which puts Target recommended products into email. Do you know how these constraints work in real live scenarios?
