i have seen majorly dataLake size is smaller than profile store, and in very few cases dataLake size is larger than profile store.based on my understanding, one of the reason dataLake size is comparatively is smaller bcz dataLake uses compression technique to store the data, hence the size is smaller that profile store.And if dataSet is enabled for profile, much after the data ingestion has been done already . this causes very less profile to get ingested into profile store, which causes dataLake size to be higher than profile store. Apart from above two reason, what are the other explanation for these size variance between dataLake and profile store ?I have attached screenshot for reference.

Hi All I have a question regarding the potential impact of removing a Profile Enabled Custom Class Lookup Schema. This schema has an established relationship with another Experience Event schema, which is also profile-enabled. The plan is to remove the relationship in the Experience Event schema and then drop the Custom Class Lookup dataset and schema. While it seems like a feasible technical action, I’d like to understand if there could be any negative impacts. Since the Custom Class Lookup schema does not participate in the union schema, I assume dropping it won't affect the union schema, but I wanted to double-check with the community. Looking forward to your insights! 

We have an web event dataset which is profile enabled and ECID is an identity field. Now for record class datasets (Person, Account), we do not have ECID present . Now question is in Customer Profile store, will records for those ECID coming from Web Event Data will appear or not? 

Hi Adobe Community,   I am currently working on sending audiences to an outbound destination through RTCDP. The team that we are sending these audiences to says that it is not able to see our audience name in the file that we send them. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to add the audience name to this outbound file in the audience mapping screen when activating an audience. Is there any out of the box field for audience name?    Thanks, Nick

Everything that’s present in prfile store is also present in dataLake.Lets say there are 4 system sending event streaming data. From profile UI we can see all 4events. How can we back track it to find out which dataset they have the record entry in dataLake ?

Events in AEP are immutable, but can data distiller overwrite or delete the event record if it knows the _id value ?

We have configured the destination and mapped some attribues: The flow was as following: 1. Created a audience2. Created a profile3. Send an event that qualified the profile for the audience4. Checked the audienceMembership5. Sent a pageView via Web SDK and received this response: As you can see, there are no profile attributes, which are populated in the Hub profile:  P.D. We are trying the Edge Network API call in the DEV Sandbox, just in case it is relevant.

I see there is a native conector in AEP/CDP to Campaign, so you can send audiences to Campaign.However, I also encountered this doc where it says that you can query a segment and export that to Amazon S3 , from where Campaign can import that with a Import Workflow.So, do we need an Amazon S3 bucket or is the native conector enough?

We have a use case to schedule a dataflow with ~10M records to a profile enabled dataset for 2-3 times a week. Since its a huge dataset what would be the impact of ingesting this on our sandbox? Just to clarify, we’re not introducing new profile attributes each time—this is simply an increase in the frequency of dataset refreshes. Would this change in frequency affect our storage capacity, export processes, etc

Consider dataStream have 10 fields from profile enabled schema. is there a way to restrict few fields in AEP dataLake ingestion, while getting all fields forwarded to other service such as Adobe Analytics ? So out of 10 fields , only 3 fields goes into dataLake but all 10 field goes into adobe analytics ? IS this even a possibility, I dont find any filtering feature in data mapping UI.
