Adobe Marketo Engage

I have a theory that Marketo's "in future before xx days" uses hours as a unit of measurement. Can anyone confirm or provide insight?Situation: We want to send a renewal notice to customers whose subscriptions expire 30 days from the send date. We are using expiration date "is in future 31 days", and expiration date "is in future after 30 days" to isolate that 30th day before expiration. We are transitioning these renewal notices from an old marketo instance to a new marketo instance. I'm noticing some weird discrepancies between the two systems and I want to know more about how Marketo calculates those natural language durations for "in future 31 days" and "in future after 30 days".Example:In the old system Contact A's expiration date is set as 4/5/2024 (no timestamp)In the new system Contact A's expiration date is set as 4/5/24 11:59pmIn the old system, Contact A qualifies for the smart list and is sent the renewal notice on 3/5/24.However, in the new system Contact A qualifies

Hi team,Over the last 3 days my company has come across an increase of undelivered emails in Marketo and the main reason was for being added to a Spamhaus blocklist. We've checked our DNS, sender reputation and everything else and we don't see anything different compared to last week or even last month to justify such increase.Is anyone having similar issue in Marketo? We are based in New Zealand, and we came across a 15/20% bounce rate.Thank you!

I was reading a thread on the forum and realize consent for the privacy checkbox must be optional for end-user.My question is, if end-user does not consent, by not ticking the box and submits the form, what do we as Marketo record owners need to do on our end? - Is there a standard or protocol for that?Are we to purge their submission? My organization currently uses Intercom as our chatbot, but I believe there are other ways we could utilize Dynamic Chat that we are not currently using. Wondering if anyone has experience with creating conversational flows based on website activity? Rather than a form fill? The business team want to know what kind of report Marketo offers to validate which email domains are being used in Marketo. As in existing Marketo instance there are multiple SPF email domains (10+)  that are verified but not sure which SPF domain is being used for sending email and tracking links. In the existing account there are 4 branding domain(CNAME) that are set up successfully. Each has a different domain. And there are 11 SPF records added which are verified out of those SPF records 2 SPF record are not matching with branding domain but are verified too.

Hi, I'm looking for more information around the use case and if there is any more information besides what's in the product documentation. Couldn't find much through Google or YouTube videos. Would love to see a case study of this that was used in the real world so I can gain additional insights instead of just LaunchPoint services set up, etc.  What does the reporting look like? Are the engagement data fed back into Marketo? I know there are some options under the smart campaign.  Can I send one static list to all three services or do I need to send the static list to each individually, etc. Thanks in advance.

Recently we have got notification for few of the oprational smart campigns as "This is rare, but the Smart Campaign experienced an unexpected hiccup and some flow steps may not have succeeded", however the campaigns are still working fine.The smart campaign detailed as: Smatlist: [Trigger] Email Bounces - Email is any Flow step: Add to list  

Hello,We will be syncing an SFDC Custom Object that is connected to both Lead and Contact in SFDC.In Marketo, I think we'll need to select the table on both the Lead and Contact objects in order to sync, and it will appear in Marketo as two separate COs. Is this correct?And based on that, we will need to use 2 filters to capture CO records for both Leads and Contacts. Please let me know if my understanding is correct. Thank you!

By default in our Salesforce org, the 'notify user' checkbox is unchecked when you go to reassign a Contact to another user, but when Contacts are reassigned via Marketo, users are being notified.  Is there anywhere in the sync set up where we can disable these notifications?  I can see that there is an option to uncheck the trigger email notification for Leads being assigned, but would this apply to Contacts as well?   

I've sent three invitation emails to leads and need to track which email they came from when they filled out the form. Even though all emails have the same tracking parameters and we haven't excluded those who already registered for the event in later invites, I'm looking for other ways to figure out which email led to the form fills. Since we can't rely on parameters and exclusion alone, I'm seeking alternative methods to identify the source of form fills. #analytics #email #utmparameter

With Marketo dynamic content, you can customize how different people see a landing page or email. Segmentation is the basis on which you can customize this dynamic content.   Segmentation categorizes your audience into different subgroups based on a Smart List rule. Hi all, I am curious if anyone has successfully been able to track Opportunities on the Lead object within Bizible? We have a business case in which Leads have associated Opportunities in SFDC, and have been told Bizible cannot support pipeline reporting on any Opps associated to Leads. Currently exploring "workarounds" and wanted to hear if anyone else has experienced this / has ideas to solve it? 

Hello,  I have noticed when using a custom database token, in the preview in Marketo, quotation marks are inserted. When I go to create a draft there is no option to remove quotation marks. However, when I send a test to my inbox, the quotation marks disappear.  Has anyone noticed this before? Are the quotation marks just to let the marketo user know that the sender is a token and therefore dynamic? I just want to ensure this won't hit a user's inbox with quotation marks.  Thanks.

Hi Team, I am planning to have Email program and targeted audience in the smartlist at program level so the program is restricted to selected leads,I wanted to have couple of smart campaigns to decide program success and failure by clicking links and not respectively.I understand by success the campaign sets to be trigger campaign but whereas the failure campaigns automatically turns out to be batch campaign which is understandable as no user input on an email to refer trigger campaign.My question is, the batch campaign within an Email Program turns out to be targetter to wide audience than smart list at program level. which requires redundant action to add list to failure campaign as well. Is my understanding correct or am I missing anything for Failure campaign.Please advise.

We have successfully integrated Facebook with Marketo; however, data is not flowing between the platforms as expected. Marketo support claims this is a Facebook issue, while Facebook support has been unhelpful. Interestingly, when using Zapier to establish the connection, data flows accurately. I am uncertain why the sync between Marketo and Facebook is not functioning properly.   TIA

Not quite sure what the difference between a Marketo executable campaign and a Marketo request campaign is and when you should use one over the other? Then you’ve come to the right place. This post will explain the difference, give examples of when each should be used, and also clear up the enigmatic “Use Parent Campaign Token Context” option.   Simply put, the difference between Marketo executable and request campaigns is that executable campaigns are executed sequentially while request campaigns are executed in parallel.   When 2 Marketo executable campaigns are placed one after another in a smart campaign flow, the first executable campaign will execute all its flow steps BEFORE the second executable campaign executes the first of its flow steps.   When 2 Marketo request campaigns are placed one after another, the first request campaign is requested, and then straight afterward the second request campaign is requested and both will carry out their flow steps simultane
