I've been building a webhook to create a new text-type chatter item in SFDC and it has worked perfectly when I manually specify the subjectID. However, If I attempt to replace this with a Marketo token, the webhook fails. Code and error messaging below. Webhook template that works on my specified test record:  { "body" : { "messageSegments" : [ { "type" : "Text", "text" : "New Auto-MQL Action taken! Please follow up.   Ever wanted to copy a bunch of fields from a “lead template” to new leads on creation? A common question that we come across at Adobe Marketo Engage Professional Services Consulting are around the feasibility of using distribution lists for email sends. The use cases we often have seen are for companies that use Marketo for internal communications and want to use an email alias such as team-x@my-company.com.   In order to create this alias, you would request your IT team to create the distribution list with all the internal seed list addresses and then send an email to everyone on the list to just one ID set by the team, e.g. marketingseedlist@<your.company.domain>.com. My coworker is setting up to extract data via API for he analysis work from MKTO.  I have given him Read and Query permissions and he has a couple of questions that I, (100-% not an API person) cannot answer with authority.1. He is concerned he will delete our DB by accident2. More of a concern is the pull on MKTO resources by gathering all the data he wants for the last month then the last year.Are any of those concerns valid? I'm building out an operational program to capture some key data fields - Most Recent Conversion, First Conversion, First Campaign, etc., to centralize it. In regards to our Most Recent Conversion field for our Conferences, it's currently built like this: I want to know if an Executable Program will pull this information in. Obviously it pulls in:My TokensCampaign TokensProgram TokensMember TokensTrigger Tokens (if called from a Triggered Campaign)But given that it is not a token, will it still come in? My hunch is no and that I need to figure out a workaround. Any help appreciated.Chris 

Hi there! I'm new to Dynamic Chat - our company currently uses Intercom as our chatbot - however, I am interested in the Conversational Flow aspect of Dynamic Chat. Do I need to use the Dynamic Chatbot in order to implement Conversational Forms or can I still use that feature if I'm not using the chatbot?I'd like to implement Conversational Forms on our sales contact us forms - wondering what best practice is for this? We currently have required form fields: Name, Email, Company, Phone Number If someone is filling out that form, they want to be contacted by Sales, but how can I implement conversational forms to instantly book a meeting with Sales after the form fill is complete? Or what have others done in the past when implementing conversational forms for a sales contact us form? Thanks!!

Hi All, As our Marketo instance is currently linked with Dynamics through the native connector, we have a query regarding lead qualification. Presently, our lead qualification process to Dynamics is triggered by form submissions. When a person submits a form, a new lead is created in Dynamics through a campaign flow action. Subsequently, the sales team reviews and qualifies the lead into a contact in D365. Once the lead completes its journey, such as an opportunity being marked as Won or Lost, they may fill out another form for a different request. In this scenario, another lead should ideally be created in D365 to facilitate follow-up by the sales team. However, the system attempts to sync the new form submission to the closed lead and displays an error stating "Lead has already been synced." Could anyone kindly provide advice on how to re-qualify a lead from Marketo once their current journey has concluded?

Hello Marketo Community Members, I'm reaching out in hopes of finding some guidance on an issue we're encountering with our Lead Routing process in Marketo.We have set up smart campaigns within our Marketo instance for 'Net New Leads' and 'Existing Leads.' However, I've noticed that some leads are being processed by both campaigns consecutively. This is resulting in duplicate notifications to our BDRs and occasionally causing the lead owner to change in SFDC.To address this, I implemented a rule to add leads from the 'Net New Leads' campaign to a list, intending to use this list as a filter in the 'Existing Leads' program. Unfortunately, this solution isn't working as expected.Does anyone have any suggestions or best practices on how we can resolve this issue? Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated to streamline our lead routing and ensure a smooth workflow.Thank you in advance for your help!Best regards,  

If I have an actively used Channel and wanted to rename some of the Channel/Progression Statuses, would that cause any issues?The values would still mean the same as the original but would like to rename to have clearer progression status labels.We do have trigger campaigns setup looking at if program status is changed so wanted to better understand if we renamed some of the statuses, 1) would the trigger campaign inherit the new name and 2) would people with the legacy status re-trigger the campaign because their status would be changed to the new renamed version?

Hi We currently have our main contact form linked into Marketo so any new form completions are automatically uploaded as an MQL and synched to CRM.  This has been working fine for new contacts and the team have been qualifying/disqualifying etc.  Yesterday we came across an issue where we have an existing contact and the sync is failing as the person is already in the system.   Is there a way of creating a new lead for an existing contact so this works? At the moment looking at our syncs it seems it doesn't happen if the person was created as a lead/contact in CRM.  Is this because it's something that can't be done?

We are getting ready to rollout MSI at our company.  We just installed in our production Salesforce environment are testing before we make it available to the larger user base.  I created an email in Marketo, checked the Publish to Sales Insight option and approved.  When I go to a contact in Salesforce and click the Send Marketo Email button, when I get to the editor the email is not available.  Am I missing a step?

We just migrated from Eloqua to Marketo and are having issues validating a few templates. Why would we get the error message "A mkto element is nested inside another"? 

A recent project required mass bulk data updates between Dynamics and Marketo. The large amount of updates were expected to cause backlogs and disrupt the production environment integration. In exploring ways to mitigate the effects, we consulted with Adobe Marketo Support.   We also referenced this excellent post on Marketo / Salesforce Sync Limits & Priority Info, but found that several processes work differently in the Dynamics sync. In this post I will share a few findings.   Unlike the Salesforce-Marketo sync, the Dynamics sync works on a first in, first out (FIFO) basis. Updates in the Dynamics sync do not batch by entity – they will be made in the order in which they occurred, based on the system mod timestamp. For example, if 50K Lead records are updated, and then 50K Contact records are updated, there is no throttling by object as described for an SFDC integration. The 50K Lead records will sync first. Hello,We have a client who uses around 25 to 30 partitions in Marketo, we need to identify duplicates in different partitions. For example, we need to create a smart list which will help us identify duplicate records/ members in partition 1 and partition 2. We have a workspace which has access to all the partitions and tried creating below smart lists:1. Partition 1 and partition 2- not getting any results.2. Duplicate email address and partition (1 or 2)- Not getting correct results.Could you please help?Appreciate your support.Thank you.

Hi guys,I'm trying to create a flow that is triggered after the change of on data field to "true" after filling out a certain form.so far I've tried "Trigger:Data value changes (new value is true) and Trigger: Fills out form (for  is blah blah)".But after testing it seems to be completing the flow action for anyone who has filled out the from introspective of if the fields new value is true. I've also tried was to have a trigger:data value changes (new value true) and filled out form (with constraint= with 1 minute), but that too doesn't seem to be working - and isn't ideal as we potentially have people fill out an inquire form and update their preference centre (data value change) which aren't related.Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Dale

Hi Community Friends, It seems I'm unintentionally continuing my Friday questions (to be fair, it's likely because this is my close-out day of the week so I catch up on all the things that have come across my desk throughout the days prior 😋).  We recently implemented Email on Acid because we didn't have a pre-deployment tool and wanted to make sure that our emails were accessible, compatible across multiple browsers/email clients, and not slowing delivery/load times. I've used the tool in a prior company and loved it's ease of use to copy HTML into the tool, run testing, and then copy it back into Marketo, so I recommended it for my team now. However, I'm currently experiencing an issue where, when I copy the code back into Marketo, all the variables are eliminated and Marketo, therefore, cannot update the email. Here are the steps I take/am seeing: Selected "Download HTML" from the email I wanted to testPasted it into EoA and ran all my test
