Hi - the image in our hero section is appearing small and is too close to the top of the page. What coding do we need to add in to fix the image size to be larger based on window size and have the top of image inline with the headline on the left side? https://it.recastsoftware.com/automatedpatching.html

I'm doing a list import from an event booth visits. I have about 100 leads to import and some of these already exist in our db. I want to import the new 70 leads and also update the existing 30 days. Only field I don't want to update the 'Job title' for the existing 30 leads. Here, I want to retain the value in our db. Is it possible to achieve this? Thanks.

Hello,I'm trying to find a way to manage the segments within partitions in a central way.Let's assume I have 4 different partitions:EUJPUSAPACAll of these partitions need to have 3 different Marketable segments:CustomersProspectsPartnersAll of these segments need to have common and specific criteria to have the correct members inside them. I'd like to achieve a single and central way to manage the common criteria. For example, as of now, I have replicated for each segment for each partition these following conditions - so 12 times:GDPR Optin = trueMarketing Suspended = falseSince I cannot use Smartlist and segments inside Segment filters, how can I manage those criteria in a single point, and avoid replicating these for each segment for each partition? Having a single management point will help avoid manual errors and give us a vision of the "common" filters. Thanks,Gianluca

Hey,I found a problem recently and I want to understand it better.I put a form on a Marketo landing page. Everything is in the same program. I set it up so that when someone fills out the form, a sales rep gets an alert. But there were some contacts who filled out the form, yet their first name, last name, and email address were missing, even though those fields are required and sales owner received blank email.When I checked the program members, I saw this icon:  Can anyone help me what it is actually?

Hello, We are trying to add a 'add to calendar' token in Marketo, onto a landing page.  Currently, when I add the token (which works) it appears in a white font, which means it is not visible in the landing page - however, no matter what i try (HTML coding included) I cannot change the colour of the token to make it visible. Does anyone know why this is?

I have an email template with circular buttons using border-radius, as anyone who codes HTML knows these do not render in Outlook. I have researched and see multiple ideas and none are working for me. hi all,  I am curious how people set up their smart campaigns in the channel campaign.  Is it considered best practice to build an unsubscribe campaign that tracks the people who click the unsub link in that particular email?  Or is the best way to set it up in terms of structure is to not track per campaign since Marketo tracks unsubscribes anyway?Would be solely based on reporting why the additional campaign is set up? I am seeing that this is done in many ways but in terms of best practice, I would love to hear others thoughts.

Hi there folks - I have been using Marketo for the past 4 years and have never come across this issue. Oddly the images for me do not show up despite them having https in them. It was working just fine then on Apr 15 2024 it stopped working. Now here is the strange thing. I checked my firewall and there doesn't seem to be any issue. I work in Canada so I thought what if I used a US address with a VPN service and using a US ip allowed me to see all the images just fine. So if I turn off my VPN and go back to my Canadian IP address, the images stop working. We have a campaign launching that will be pushing data into a custom object. In the past (before I was with the company), we had them come in through one field via JSON string and then parsed out in velocity. We can still do that OR push the info into fields within the custom object. Here are examples of the fields we would create and then push them to:  Tier 5 Join date: {marketplace_tier_change_date}Tier 6 Join date: {marketplace_tier_change_date}Temporary stop sell start date:{temporary_suspension_start_date}Next Evaluation date: {next_evaluation_date}Permanent stop sell date: {permanent_suspension_start_date}I personally think it's easier to push this data into individual fields because it makes it "cleaner" and because it's less work on the velocity side. Just curious if there's a best practice for this? A colleague of mine thinks we should just push to one field and parse it out in velocity but I'm not entirely sure why. Is my approach just lazy?&nbs

I would like to configure and fine-tune our preference center. Can we have an umbrella, or parent, content category with sub-categories underneath? For example:  Marketing □* Monthly Newsletter □* Promotions & Product Updates □* Announcements □ Marketing ☑ * Monthly Newsletter ☑* Promotions & Product Updates ☑* Announcements ☑ If a contact selects "Marketing" they opt-in to all of the subcategories and will display a field on their Info page titled "Marketing Subscribe to All". If they unsubscribe to 1, but leave 2 selected, only those opt-ins would be checked, and the "Marketing Subscribe to All" will be unchecked.  Additionally, if a subscriber visits the preference center, could they see exactly what they are subscribed to in real time? Does anyone have any resources they can share with me that could help me understand how I'd be able to accomplish the above? Thank you!

I'd rather keep the poll private and not allow people to share the poll with their social networks. However, I can only ever uncheck 2 out of the 3 social networks listed (if I uncheck Facebook and Twitter, the box below LinkedIn goes gray).

At our company, when a user sends an email using MSC, we add our mailing list to the cc list.However, if a member of your company accidentally opens the package, you will not be able to properly track their activity.I would like to know the solution

I know this has been discussed in community before and see this "solution" for my question but I am trying to see if anything has changed or improved in the past year.https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/clicks-and-open-rates-as-metrics-how-accurate-are-they/m-p/337132#M190820 We continue to note that many emails report opens and clicks that are not real - like others have pointed out, you can see an email send, deliver, open and click in the same minute which is not how real emails work. Why wouldn't Marketo's proximity filter detect this kind of activity?  Some companies seem to put emails through an email scanner which clicks every link in the email or the first link in every recipient's emails etc.   Is there anything we can do to get more accurate numbers? I always deliver my team opens and clicks on request but give them a great big caveat that these are notoriously unreliable. I feel like if Marketo ignored the first 30-60 seconds of behavio

I am building an email nurture (batch programs nested within an engagement program -- triggered to run through the engagement stream). We have dynamic subject headers based on persona and we have a default send. If I set up a champion/challenger test on the subject line will it only run of default sends? Or will it overwrite the dynamic subject lines I have built for the others as well?

We are trying to share an OFT file via link with a handful of our contacts in Marketo. Has anyone had any success in downloading their OFT file into the Design Studio and then linking the document in their email body? We've noticed the file seems to be corrupted when we send a test email to ourselves.  We are all working in Outlook and planning to send the email to others who are using Outlook, so it is not an issue of having the right program to download the file. 

I've recently found out "Was Sent E-mail" and "Was Delivered E-mail" are kept for only 3 months.I was using these criteria on my Smart Lists, but now they're no longer enough... I tried to use "Member of Program", but it doesn't have any Constraints related to date or minimum of times. What we need to do is detect users that received a minimum number of emails for an extended period of time, and if they didn't open any of these, they would be kept out of programs for at least 6 months before trying to send anything else again. Of course, the only maintainable way to do that is if the Smart list uses values based on time (X months, instead of specific date, which would require constant maintenance), and on minimum number of emails (instead of relying on specific programs or emails). I tried looking for compatible criteria but couldn't find any that would help us achieve that... Do you have any tips or solutions?Thanks, you all!

Hi all, we have a recommend a friend scheme which is currently very manual and involves printing out a voucher (who even owns a printer these days?) So, we want to capture details of referrer & referral on one form. to be presented to sales at point of sale.The only people that will have access to the form should be referrer & referee to ensure that people are qualified. We're conscious that  the referrer wont be able to fill out their friends info due to gdpr.what would be the easiest way to do this please?ideally we'd like to avoid a business change here, but i appreciate gdpr is what it is, but a form on a live link with multiple email address fields & salutations' fdor example could work but i currently see no way to do this in marketo. thanks! Hi,I had a question regarding Neverbounce results. I'm running a list of some leads through Neverbounce to see how many are not valid and take appropriate action. I see Neverbounce returns a lot of emails that fall in the Unverifiable and Unknown categories. I wanted to know as a best practice, how do you handle these result codes? Do you only keep the emails marked 'Valid' in the database? What's an appropriate course of action for the Unverifiable and Unknown categories of emails?  Thanks,Shweta.

Hi Marketo Community,  We are trying to configure Marketo Sales Insights (MSI) in Salesforce and are getting this error message "Diagnostics Test Failed!Required fields are not configured in:<ul><li></li></ul>" on the config page. Is there a way to troubleshoot and understand what required fields are not configured?
