Adobe Marketo Engage

Just got the new experience and saw that URLs for my assets weren't working. Initially thought there was a load-then-publish system similar to AEM but, it seems the generated URL for the file is broken. Normal URL would be "resources.company.com/rs/123-abc-456/images/file-name.jpg". Broken URL seems to be "httpss://resources.company.com/rs/123-abc-456/images/file-name.jpg".   The difference being "https" (normal) vs "httpss" (broken). Checked files that were uploaded a while ago, well before the change (like 2 months ago) and it seems to be the same issue. Is this a me-only thing or are others seeing this as well?

Hi, I've uploaded lots of images, pdfs etc. in the past through the 'design studio' tab, and marketo has created a link for that file which I can then embed in marketo emails. These links have always opened the file on an internet tab without a problem, but now it seems the links don't work. Instead of taking me directly to the file, they open up a general google page. When I copy paste the links into the search bar, it brings up a blank page instead of the file, like it used to. This is happening to all newly uploaded files as well as past files that used to work. Any suggestions?

Has anyone integrated Marketo with an Email design platform, Taxi for Email (https://taxiforemail.com/)? We have the integration set up but when we try to export an email to Marketo, we are running into a few issues of trying to pass:   When we are trying to create a brand new email, we are getting this export error message: 711: 6314 Folder is not an email template folder   When trying to update an existing email in Marketo, we are getting this error message: 1001: Invalid value ‘%s’. Required of type ‘%s’ Error is generated whenever parameter value has type mismatch. For example string value specified for integer parameter.   any thoughts or recommendations

Hi, so I have a question around customer upsell tracking and cross-sell. We are planning to launch a program that  upsells to current customer emails in our CRM database, and we are considering implementing a similar funnel process that we have for new prospect leads ie. non customers. It has come up that perhaps we can just let leads in as new leads even if they have the same email (from scoring or form fills) of customers, so that we can assign these leads manually to the accounts in Dynamics. In other words, if an email of a customer already eixsts in CRM, they could have multiple emails come in under the same email as separate leads assigned to the account. This is so that sales can engage individually with these leads and convert them down our custom stages in CRM. DOes this make sense? Is this even feasible? So in a nutshell, if a customer with the same email fills out of a form or gets triggered by the scoring system to push to CRM, it will come in as a new lead (even thoug

We'd looking to have Marketo create/update multiple marketing lists in Dynamics 365 associated to the same campaign. Our goal is to provide transparency to our events without needing to provide users access to Marketo or manage off-line lists. For example:   - A marketer is having an in-person event and we're managing the registrations through Marketo. When someone registers, we'd like Marketo to create a marketing list for those that have registered (this is the first list). I understand the capabilities for "add to Microsoft Campaign" and we can are doing this.  - When people attend/do not attend we'd like to create a second and third marketing list for these resources as well.    This is an example, but we'd also use this functionality for webcasts and other programs where these lists could grow into hundreds or thousands. Hello,  We are testing Progressive webforms on Pathfactory and hit a snag. We are trying to reorder form fields so that the consent field is at the bottom of the progressive fields (last three)We were able to achieve this through code on Marketo LP's, but unable to on the embedded form on Pathfactory. Hi Community!   I am trying to set up onboarding campaigns to send three different emails to our newest employees. We want the first email to be sent on Day 30 of employment; the second email on Day 60; and the third email on Day 90.   I am using the Enrollment Date (a Date field) to filter who should be receiving the emails.    I have created the first campaign to send out the email on Day 30 of employment, but am stuck.   I've tried using the In Past and In Past Before filters, but the campaign is not pulling in the person I know it should be pulling in who is at exactly that 30-day mark today.     I tried changing the filters to say Enrollment Date in past 31 days AND Enrollment Date in past before 31 days; Enrollment Date in past 31 days AND Enrollment Date in past before 30 days; Enrollment Date in past 30 days AND Enrollment Date in past before 30 days, etc. But no luck.   Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can make this

Dear Community, I'm trying to create a custom report which would provide me with the following data of all emails scheduled (batch campaigns) in future for event program-  Number of emails scheduled across campaigns for specific countries Date and time of the scheduled emails campaign wise. Is it possible to fetch this data through email insights, i tried but could only see past data. Is there a way i can extract it through a smart campaign.

Hey Gurus, Background: I have a site that creates leads in both Marketo and Salesforce, ended up creating leads in both system due to time criticality. The default sync between from Marketo to Salesforce is anytime between 2-15 mins. Question: I can use REST API to lookup LeadInfo from Marketo, is there a way I can populate the Salesforce Lead Id on to Marketo record and then release the sync to allow future sync to happen automatically. Wondering whether anything changed recently in the durable unsubscribe process. I am working with an instance where several entities are migrating to Marketo and every time a migration happens we import the unsubscribed records that were collected in the legacy platforms into Marketo. As Marketo should also remember that unsubscribe status after the record was deleted based on the master unsubscribe list, we remove the newly created records from that unsubscribe list the next day, so the contacts database does not contain records we'll never do anything with. It used to be that when one of those email addresses enters Marketo again at a later stage, they would immediately be flagged as unsubscribed again based on the master record that was retained in the background. I am now testing this process and I don't see the immediate update to unsubscribed status happening. However, for some records I do see a durable unsubscribe activity being logged hours later. Has anyone seen this behaviou

We are doing a Marketo to Marketo migration and want to migrate people from old to new nurture programs (program import clone) without repeating or skipping content.   Any suggestions?   The journeys are up to 180 days, so we can't let people run out in the old instance.

Hello everyone,   We are in the process of working to re-deploying a new Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment later this year, and as a result we are also preparing to set up and transition to a new Marketo instance.   We have been in contact with our CSM with Marketo and they are aware of our project and will assist with standing up the instance, but I'm trying to gather some information on what our team can expect when we get to the point of starting to move our assets, programs, and lead database to our new instance.   Does anyone have any insights into how the process worked for them? When it comes to actually moving assets to the new instance, what does that process look like? How long did you prepare for the transition and how long did the transition take for your team? Hi all,   We are trying to connect to our Marketo instance via API and are not able to get past the initial URL address / simple test. I am hoping someone can help me with a velocity script question. In all transparency I am not a coder but working to understand. I have a URL in a custom object. The URL contains the full value including https:// I have a super basic velocity token pulling in that value. (The script literally only is this: ${cartsAndQuotes_cList.get(0).cartURL}.) The problem I have is that I do not get clicks counted  when I put that token into my CTA in an email template  I think I need a way for the velocity script to return the URL without the https:// portion (so I can add https:// in front of the token in the CTA) Can anyone point me to a good reference for simple scripting that would help me to accomplish this?

I am trying to write a Velocity Script that will populate a field from a custom object into an email. The logic in the script needs to identify the correct custom object to use. Specifically, I want the most recently updated record with a specific status. I tried using this code, but it did not always identify the correct custom object.     #set( $sortedList = $sorter.sort($masterOrder_cList,["status:asc","UpdatedAt:desc"]) ) ${sortedList.get(0).COFieldName}     Any tips are appreciated.    What I really want to do is create a work around for the fact that trigger tokens do not work with the Custom Object is Updated trigger....so if you have any ideas on that front, I would also be interested.   Thank you!
