Hi all, any template Landing Page inspiration to share built in Marketo?  We are thinking of using the dynamic content. However, Marketo's landing page features is minimal. Otherwise, do you use any other platform (not expensive)?   Thanks  Andréia  

I have a landing page where people can register to book an appointment with us at a specific event. The form contains the preferred timeslot, for that I would like to know how can I send a personalized (registration confirmation) email with the timeslot that was chosen by the lead ? Does that work through tokens?  Thanks!

I tried to use free-form landing page template which is validated for mobile compatibility. Then I create a landing page using that template. Activated mobile version which displays blank.Do we have to add any extra code to display in mobile version?

I've embedded a Marketo form on our website with a 'Stay on Page' thank you page setting, but I've observed that after submitting the form, the page reloads. Is there a way to ensure that I remain on the form's location after submission and the page will not reload? Thanks!

Has anybody else built their websites in house and developed methods for tracking web activity through Marketo?   We cannot track lead IDs for 80% of our site visitors because we have built our own website form instead of Marketo Forms. The other 20% have their activities tracked because they come through clicking our email link.   We tried the REST Associate Lead call but it requires a known lead ID.    How can we sync these anonymous IDs to the Munchkin cookies?   Any other solutions for activity tracking would also be appreciated.

This landing page is created using guided landing page template which is mobile compatible. I'm not able to enable mobile version.  Does any one know how to enable?

Hello,   I am asking a developer question because, while we have developers, it takes months to have changes made and things built. So our small technical team works to try and get things built faster.   I am trying to set up webhooks in Marketo that will 1. Get data from the Vibes sms/mobile wallet platform and 2. Update Marketo records with that data.   I've been reading through the API documentation for both Marketo and Vibes and am still unsure of how to accomplish this.   I've created a webhook to accomplish the first part, to Get the Vibes data, which would be the External Person ID circled in the second screenshot below.   First, I'm not sure that the webhook is set up correctly, and second I don't know how to update the field below in Marketo with the External Person ID that resides in Vibes.   Is it possible to update this field using the same webhook or would I need to create a Post webhook to update that field?     Thank you, LK

EDIT FOR MORE DETAILS: - form in question can be accessed when email sub clicks 'communication preferences' in email footer - once ''communication preferences' clicked, email sub is redirected to LP that includes this form - only component on form that is email sub facing is the CTA (screenshot 1)   ------ Happy Friday!   Anyone have knowledge on how I can possibly have leads with empty email addresses entering Marketo after 'filing' out this form? The form only hosts a CTA.         Reccos on how to prevent this?     

Hello all!Have a ticket in with Support but curious on any thoughts on this strange situation. We've got an email that pulls in custom object record data for a certain type of account and had an instance where someone met the criteria (Smart List-wise and Velocity-wise) to receive the email BUT the script output table did not appear.Here's where it gets weird - initially when I pulled up the object in the database in Edge and Chrome, the object loads but after the first 3 entries it looks like this:MicrosoftTeams-image.pngThe page then stalls and eventually crashes without loading. This Lead should have about 13-15 records so it's obviously not loading them in.My initial Support response was that it was possible a cache/cookie issue and when I open that Lead in an incognito window it loads as it should.What I'm confused by is when I do a specific "Preview by List" and replicate the list and Velocity parameters - why does my Velocity script seem to fail when previewing in standard Edge

Hi.   As many of you probably do, we have a Lead Score campaign that assigns numbers to certain actions a user can take within our marketing campaigns, and tallies the assigned number for those actions. For each campaign, we send info to our Sales Reps on the actions contacts take along with their Lead Score tally.   However, we have had this Marketo instance for about 10 years, so our longer term clients have outsized numbers. What I want to do is determine what that Lead Score is from the past 12 months and return that score to the Sales Rep along with their all-time score. The idea is to get a sense of how engaged they are over the previous year.   How do I do this?   I looked at using a Formula field, but it doesn't allow for date constraints. I also looked at using Velocity script tokens, but my knowledge on Velocity scripting is pretty limited, so I'm not sure if I saw the answer there, but couldn't understand it.   Please let me know if you have any

I have a form with a picklist filed with the field type set to "select". When someone drops down the field and scrolls over different the picklist values, I would like a helper text to appear giving a description of each picklist value so they can select the value that makes the most sense to them. Is this possible?

I posted yesterday about using VTL to find the first Monday of the next month. A working solution was provided by @sanfordwhiteman in Velocitip: Find the first 𝑵-day of next month - Marketing Nation (marketo.com)   I learned I also need to go one step further -- Part 2 of our required solution is to get the date prior to the first N-day of the next month. For example, we need to find the day before the first Monday of the following month, which could be Sunday the 31st in the current month. Is there a similar solution we can implement here?

I am looking for help/information if it is possible to send data from email, landing page, link, etc performance to our AWS data lake. We have access to the leads, activities and campaigns but are looking for the analytic data in the Marketo Analytic UI. All of the documentation mentions the three (leads, activities and campaigns) and that's it. Even the REST requests do not mention anything about emails sent, number of clicks, opens, etc. The goal is to use this analytical data in Tableau. Thanks.

Hi all I recently added a honeypot to our newsletter emails in order to filter out any false clicks that may have been from bots... Our true results, after removing the honeypot clicks, are significantly lower, about 90% lower if not more. It's been a jarring experience, has anyone gone through anything similar? It even makes me question if the industry benchmarks we see for standard open rates, click rates, etc. are trustworthy when bot and/or spam filter clicks are taken into account

Hello all!   We're looking at how to "track" direct mailers within Marketo in the sense of being able to add "Leads" into Marketo and then track if any results occur from the Leads.   Initial thoughts are to do something like: 1. Load mailing list into Marketo channel for direct mail 2. Attribute the "sent mailer" on date sent out3. Use a QR Code with UTMs or other "tie-in" on the mailer to direct back to our website and applications. . . This is the step I am stuck on - found @sanfordwhiteman's blog post on the Associator Token (Generating Munchkin Associator Tokens in SFDC/Apex or FlowBoost/JS — TEKNKL :: Blog) but it seems that this is depreciated and also might not apply in content of a QR Code or basic UTM.Any recommendations on how to get a flow like "Lead in Marketo --> Mailer --> QR Code/UTM --> Non-Marketo LP" and tie the web page visits in Marketo?

Hi all, I am assigning custom-generated link urls to a custom field I created on Marketo records called Survey Link. Each person I am including will have a unique link associated with their record. I was then looking to use this field as a token {{Lead.Survey Link}} in an email as a button link. When I put the token {{Lead.Survey Link}} in the URL area on the button or linked text, it is not loading.   I saw a previous post for My Tokens, but the token would be a Lead Token, because the links are unique to each person and could be in the thousands.    Any idea why the link is not working? I did remove https:// and place it outside to the token {{

Hello,We will be migrating all Hubspot data from Salesforce/Hubspot of a company we just acquired to our own Salesforce/Marketo. Some of the data, customers for instance, will probably flow into Salesforce then to Marketo, while leads may move directly from Hubspot to Marketo. Here's the question: when the data gets imported, Marketo will assign a "Created" date stamp. However, if the lead was created in their Hubspot instance on a previous date, it will already have a Created date. Will Marketo allow us to override the newly stamped Created date with the original Created date from the Hubspot instance? If not, then can we update that field with a Data Value Change? Or is the Created date hard coded in any way? Can we include Created date in an import as a last resort? Or do we have to accept the Created date stamp? There is also a "Created At" field as well as a "Person was Created". We just tried to do a Data Value Change and it looks like Marketo allows to update Created A

Hi, Within my email campaign, I usually use the 'email address is' smart list and copy the emails in that way. However, this time I would like to personalise it using the first name token in the email.   Is it possible to personalise the email with a first name without uploading the email list/first names as 'members' of the campaign. I don't want to upload a list to the campaign as it will automatically add the email contacts to my welcome email series, because of the trigger 'new contact'.   Thanks,

Looking to display a specific date, which is the First Monday of the Next Month. I have tried a number of different ways but I am not making much progress.
