Hello, We have super old landing pages that reference class="icon twitter". I am trying to better understand how the "Durable unsubscribe" function works. I have seen the standard documentation here:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/email-marketing/deliverability/durable-unsubscribe.html?lang=en but am struggling to understand its behaviour in the below usecase.   We need to remove all contacts from our Marketo instance due to a data error. Once remove, the CRM will sync again, pushing contacts back into the instance.  The errors caused a large number of contact subscription status's to be incorrectly updated from [Unsub=False] to [Unsub=True]. When attempting to remove a record, and re upload, Marketo seems to remember the record and update their [Unsub=True] status and change the value to suit.    Is there a way to turn off this durable unsubscribe function. Unsubscribe is looked after by our CRM so do need this solution

I'm having trouble with an engagement program as leads aren't transitioning to designated streams based on specified rules. The intended movement relies on both job titles and the interaction of opening Email A from Stream A. Despite meeting the criteria, leads aren't progressing to their respective streams as expected.Interestingly, I've set up a test trigger campaign with identical rules, and it successfully transitioned the leads. I'm eager to understand why the stream transition rules in the engagement program aren't pulling the leads as intended.   Thoughts?

Hi,We have established a custom object, 'Application,' which is connected to the 'Person' object in a many-to-many fashion. Am I missing something? I am able to clone programs, set tokens, automate most everything via the Marketo API and a CSV. However, there are two steps missing that I can't figure out how to pull in via the Marketo API:1. set the name of the SFDC campaign to sync the Marketo program to2. set the URL of the global form fill trigger as a constraint in a token I would prefer to not spend the 1-2 minute per 200 programs to do this manually.Does anyone know how to add these 2 pieces of missing program information via the Marketo API?Is this possible?Thanks for your help.Bart

Shorthands like “anonymous Munchkin cookie” and “associated Munchkin cookie” aren’t harmful in a broad sense, and I use them often. But from a technical standpoint, they’re juuust misleading enough to be worth correcting.   When you’re debugging or extending Munchkin, thinking in terms of full cookie values can make things seem miraculous that really aren’t.   You see, what really gets associated is the token part of the cookie, not the whole cookie. I have been looking at this flow for 20 mins and cant see why its not firing. People who download content via those forms are being excluded despite not having request a demo in days or months. 

Hello,A bit of a two-fold question here - We're working on setting up a process to pull program data through an API call utilizing tags and I was curious on a few things in terms of setting up a process to make this work in a usable way:1. As far as I can see, there's no way to bulk update a tag outside of an API call - Is this still the case?2. I'm assuming this is not the case, but I was curious if using Archived Folders prevents an API call from pulling that data? Or is it really only affecting the Marketo UI search?For more specifics, we're using program ID to pull in audiences and using a tag to look at relevant programs that we need. So I'm looking for a way to be able to change program tags or prevent that program from being visible after a certain point without having to do it manually 🙂

We are collecting features the prospect would like and are pulling them into a text only field as such example listed here: Business Phone Number;Call Forwarding;Ring Groups;Mobile App;Call Blocking;Call Recording; I'd like to dynamically pull in these features into an email but I am not sure the most efficient way to go about it. I was thinking of using a snippet, but if more than one feature is selected the body of the email could get a bit long. Now I am thinking I perhaps need to go the route of building a token within the program or perhaps use velocity scripting.  Has anyone done this before and has a viable solution? Thank you! Monica

Hi , Hope all are doing well. We've been tasked with personalizing the order ID within a URL. I've successfully used a script to personalize the order ID, and it's updating correctly. However, when I include this token within a URL, the URL breaks. URL doesn't work as expected and displays the script within the link. In the email template, I've hardcoded the https:// part, while the rest of the URL and the personalization are stored in a token. This token, containing the personalized information, is then appended to the https:// portion. However, when I included the https:// part directly in the script and used the token within the mailer, the URL worked smoothly. Let's assume the Predefined code is "AB-BC-CDEF", I need to configure the form so if any one is informing a different code, it triggers a message "Wrong code".   I was told only possible with JS coding, I m seeking a bit of guidance as ... Hello there,so my question is one of a series related to improving our program performances, based on the various program membership touchpoints. If these have been already asked, please, forgive me. One of these is: how I can create a People Performance report (a pie chart in particular) grouping all the members of a certain program by Program Member Field? Practical example: we have a channel acquisition field, along with UTM Source, Medium, etc, and I like to see how many people are coming from Paid Search, Social, and so on.For sure I can export them in a CSV, but this seems a manual process..!   

All, it seems the best way to integrate Eventbrite with Marketo is to use Zapier.  However, I have concerns about duplicate records getting created.   Has anyone got any experience with this, and if so, can you talk to the issues you've had?   Cheers Jo

Hey! Has anybody written a marketo breakdown on the changes coming to how google and yahoo mark spam?    In the "Sender Reputation" section of this article they mention "IP" but I believe most marketo customers are on shared IPs. Does this mean others sends put us at risk of being cast into the black hole of google and yahoos spam filters?    Correct me if I am wrong but..."Starting February 1, 2024, if a bulk-sending organization has an abuse complaint rate of 0.3% or higher, Google and Yahoo will automatically block all messages coming from that organization."   would be a death sentence for many organizations' email programs if their targets use Gmail or Yahoo.    Google defines bulk senders as "senders who send more than 5,000 messages per day to Gmail accounts must meet the requirements in this section."Is this per day, or averaged across a period of time?    Same with the spam rate of .3%. Hi All, I have an integration where I want to update the Person record with an email address "abc@xyz.com" using an external ID. However, I am unable to identify if there are duplicate records that share the same email address. Hey Team I am extracting Email Activities data from Marketo to Snowflake and the reports have 'Email Send', 'Email Delivered' and 'Email Open' Activities data mismatch.   Scenario is that when we download the Marketo Email Insight Report from Marketo tool, the 'Email Send',  'Email Delivered' and 'Email Open' Activities are more than the data reflecting in Snowflake. Example:   Marketo Email Insight Report: (Downloaded) Total Sent: 276062 Total Delivered: 271762 Opens: 58946   Report in Snowflake: (API Call) Total Sent: 186883 Total Delivered: 185750 Opens: 50662   The reports are not matching. Data is fetched through API calls and saved in Snowflake.

Now that Google has rolled out AMP for Email more broadly (see Dynamic email in Gmail launches on Android and iOS | VentureBeat ) I'm wondering when/if Marketo will add native support for dynamic or AMP-enabled emails within its platform? Is this on the roadmap?

Hi, I've been reading the board discussions and still don't quite understand how people are using global forms to track content for automation within Marketo. I understand I can rely on the Data Value Change, but I was hoping to have something that last longer than 90 days. I was exploring stamping Interesting Moments with a Content ID value that would be populated on the form, but how do I tokenize this new field? Or is there a better way entirely?
