Adobe Journey Optimizer

We have a live journey where members were not receiving the email as expected (unitary event/triggered). A day later, they received the email and the message feedback status was equal to "delay". Is there any in depth explanation to why a delay would happen?

Hi, I have a scenario where I need to create an audience in AEP such that:A profile should qualify for the audience if they meet certain criteria in the last 30 days.Once qualified, they should not be able to re-qualify for the same audience again until 90 days have passed. Can anyone suggest the best approach to implement this logic? How should I manage the datetime attribute or event tracking in my schema so I can check time-based eligibility? What’s the recommended way to set up the segment definition using Segment Builder or PQL to enforce this “qualify-in-30, block-for-90” logic?ThanksAJODev

Campaign can not be activated until all errors are resolved.Email Personalization not allowed in domain name. (CJMTL - 010018-422) I went through the documentation and can't find how to resolve this. Any tips?

Hello, I'm in the process of implementing RT-CDP and AJO and trying to figure out the best approach for using an external preference center with granular preferences. There will be 6 different email options (newsletters, promos, etc.) that a customer can choose to opt-in/out. I've been reading the docs but am getting a little lost trying to piece it all together. Do I set up subscription lists? Do I set up separate channel configurations for each communication type and set opt-out at the channel level instead of identity level? Do I implement an opt-out API call on the external preference page to capture preference changes (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/channels/email/email-opt-out#opt-out-external-lp)? Do I set up the Consents and Preferences field group and Web SDK on the external preference page to capture preference changes (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/xdm/field-groups/profile/consents)? I w

In Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), when creating a new in-app template using the custom Layout by writing HTML code, we can preview the template in other modes such as Full Screen, Modal, and Banner. However, I've observed two issues:Sometimes, when switching the layout from Custom to another type(e.g., Modal, Full Screen, or Banner) and then reverting back to Custom, the previous written HTML code disappears. Despite this, the template still appears correctly in the other layout previews. In some cases, when changing the layout from Custom to another type and then reverting back, the Custom code not only disappears from the Custom View but also causes the template to no longer appear in any of the layout previews.

Hi Team,We have a requirement to wait for 2 days after a purchase date. I tried using setDays(<eventDate>, 2).  But its setting the date to 2nd day of the month, rather than 2 days after customer purchase date. Is there any function that supports this need?  Thanks

Hello, Is there a way to access the package files that are used to migrate objects between sandboxes and the "details" of the objects - not just their IDs, etc? And can they be imported to another sandbox "manually"? A similar process that is used on Campaign Classic between environments. Thanks!

Hello I need to apply the 5 days wait but is not working with AddOn, how can it work?  toDateTimeOnly(@event{}) - 5 days, How can I modify the json?

Folks, I am checking one use-case where I want the profiles to wait exactly 3 days before their product delivery and trigger a communication from AJO.I tried using setDays() function like below,setDays(toDateTimeOnly(@event{xxx.bookingdetails.deliveryDate}), -3)If the delivery date is June 15th then the profile should wait till June 12th and proceed to further step in the journey. This way it will be dynamic for all the profiles. Any idea on this ? whether this is feasible through journey? Thanks in Advance!

Hello,   We have developed a custom profile schema for managing consents and are not using the default 'Custom and Preferences' field group. However, due to certain channel configurations in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), when a customer unsubscribes from a channel, the default fields are automatically updated on the profile to indicate that the customer has opted out. I need to prevent these default fields from being updated when a customer unsubscribes from a channel. Instead, I want the custom fields in my schema to be updated. What is the best way to achieve this?   Additionally, I have a second question: How can I remove the unsubscription date from profiles that have already been updated with this information? The AJO consent service dataset does not display any data, but I still see the unsubscription date in the profile. Would it be advisable to create a new dataset from this schema and update it? I would appreciate any insights you have on this.

I have a requirement in the journey that I creating. The requirement is to check on a date attribute to see if it is "y" days from current date i.e., let's say that "end_date" is 'xx-xx-xxxx xx:xx:xx' and it is equal to y days from today's date, then continue with the journey, otherwise end right there. When I pick the date field attribute and try to check if it is current_date + y days, I don't get the current_date option. It looks like the check will happen "y" days after when I create the journey. How do I implement the same in AJO?

Dear Team,I hope this message finds you well.Kindly refer to the attached screenshot highlighting the issue. I am attempting to export email unsubscriber records from Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) via Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). However, I am noticing that 89 of the records are marked as "No Value" in the email field, making it impossible to view or export the associated email addresses.Could you please help me understand the root cause of this issue and advise on how it can be resolved?Looking forward to your guidance. Please let me know if you want me to share more info!Best regards,Karthikeyan Sakthivel

Does anyone know whether the ability to generate persistent and active mirror-page links for proofs is on the roadmap for AJO anytime soon? Current scenario: You send a proof using a test profile for personalization reasons. The proof includes the mirror page link. The mirror page link within the proof is not active so it can't be used to validate content (It is only active once the actual email gets sent). The recipient of the proof (who doesn't have access to AJO) points out an issue. You fix the issue but have to send them another proof for them to see the changes.  Ideal scenario: You send a proof using a test profile for personalization reasons. The proof includes the active mirror page link. The recipient of the proof points out an issue. You fix the issue and just have them refresh the mirror page in their browser to see the updated changes.

Hi Community,I’m working on a use case in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and would appreciate any help or guidance from anyone who has dealt with something similar. In this scenario, each customer profile includes an array of objects (for example: multiple accounts, policies, or loans). The business need is to identify qualifying items in that array based on eligibility criteria (such as status = active) and then send separate transactional emails - one email per qualifying item.To give an example:A single customer profile contains three accounts. Two of those accounts meet the eligibility criteria. The result should be two separate emails, each containing the details of one qualifying account. The challenge I’m facing is how to design this in AJO so that a single profile can trigger multiple emails when multiple items meet the conditions, instead of just one email listing multiple items.I’d appreciate any insights, guidance, or examples of how others have approached this kind of one-t

Does timeout in that case mean that the user did not open the email?

Hi there, may i ask what is the equivalent of titleCase (that is found in email) I can use in expression in Custom Action Field? A typical use case/my objective is to transform JOHN SMITH EXAMPLE to John Smith Example - basically start each word with a block letter. Thanks!

Is everything from AEM Assets natively available in AJO? Do you need to 'tick' some boxes? How that works?

How to add Adobe Analytics tracking for emails in an AJO journeys? In the html.

Hi, Has anyone been able to use Experience Fragement in AJO. Donot see any documenation on this. 1) If yes then would appreciate any documenations/steps for achiveing same.2) If No then is this in future AJO roadmap

Hi Community,I’m working on an email in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and I keep getting the following warning when validating the message:{ "type": "https://ns.adobe.com/aep/errors/CJMMAS-2001-200", "title": "The opt-out link is not present in the email body.", "status": 200, "report": { "additionalContext": { "errorLevel": "WARNING", "variantId": "7cc39f90-7b4b-4e40-957b-fdd9bdda767d", "variantName": "default", "source": "MESSAGE", "channel": "email" } } }I understand this is Warning only (status 200), not a hard error, but I would like to know:How can I ensure the opt-out link is fully recognized by AJO and remove this warning?I am currently using this opt-out link in my footer:<p style="text-align:center;"> <a class="arc-link" data-nl-type="unsubscription" href="https://example.com/unsubscribe" style="color:rgb(150,156,170); text-decoration:underline;"> Click here to unsubscribe from further email c

Hi Community,I’m working on a POC in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) where each profile has an object array containing multiple accounts. My requirement:I need to select and display only one qualifying loan in the message (e.g., the loan where status = true).I’m trying to use helper functions like filter and head for this, but I’m not sure of the correct syntax or best practice. Can someone guide me on:How to select and display only one matching object from the array in AJO content? Can journey conditions also check inside arrays, or is this only possible in message personalization?I’ve seen the documentation on collections and helper functions but still need clarity on how to implement this.Any help or guidance would be really appreciated!Thank you.

Hi all,Is it possible to apply frequency capping to a Custom Action in Adobe Journey Optimizer? If yes, could anyone please explain how to implement it? If not, clarify why frequency capping is not supported for Custom Actions? Thanks!

Hi, I created a journey that sends both email (2 different email messages) and SMS, placing them in the same flow. If the email fails, does it affect the SMS action? The SMS is set to run in parallel since I prefer not to use conditions in this case.   Thanks in advance

I've created an action in adobe io that exports profiles in an adobe ajo journey, but even though it's not returning errors in my adobe io, ajo is taking a very large fraction of profiles from my action with the http error.This adobe io code receives the data and sends it to S3 (it's arriving correctly)example: out of 2000 profiles 1.3k are giving http errors (not timeouts) and the rest work correctly.  My app doesn't require authentication and is true for web, this is the payload I'm sending from adobe ajo to my export action:{"journeyId": {"toBeMapped": true,"dataType": "string","label": "nome jornada"},"fileName": {"toBeMapped": true,"dataType": "string","label": "Nome do arquivo"},"CHAVE": {"toBeMapped": true,"dataType": "string","label": "Chave"},"MARCA": {"toBeMapped": true,"dataType": "string","label": "Marca"}}

Hi, I’m trying to build a master table of campaigns and journeys (including campaign ID/name and journey ID/name) using the ajo_entity_dataset. However, I’ve run into an issue: there’s a journey whose name we recently updated (the current journey has the "v2" name, while the other two entries show the old names). Unfortunately, I can’t find a reliable way to filter for only the current journey name. The only timestamp field I found is lastModifiedAt, but it shows the same timestamp for all three records, so it doesn’t help me isolate the latest version. Is there another field available that would let me keep only the current journey with its updated name? Thanks for your help!
