Is everything from AEM Assets natively available in AJO? Do you need to 'tick' some boxes?How that works?

@michael_sopranoAJO comes natively integrated with AEM Assets Essentials (or full AEM Assets as a Cloud Service if licensed). From AJO, authors can browse and select images and other assets directly from the connected AEM Assets repository. In case of DM the key is "approved dynamic media renditions". For CF, you have to perform Tagging.

AEM Assets are not automatically and natively available in AJO. You need to integrate and configure it. Here's how you can do it:

AJO doesn't directly access AEM Assets. You need to establish a data integration between AEM Assets and AEP which will bring asset metadata (and potentially asset URLs) into AEP. This might involve using the AEM Assets connector or custom data ingestion methods. AJO then accesses this data from AEP. Once the asset data is in AEP, you can use AJO's content integration features to link the assets to your AJO campaigns. This might involve creating data extensions or using AJO's data connectors to access the asset information within AEP. In AJO campaigns, you'll typically use the asset URLs (retrieved from AEP) to display the assets within your messages or experiences.
