Adobe Experience Platform

We are using the Adobe Analytics Source Connector to ingest data into Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) using an Experience Event schema with the out-of-the-box Adobe Analytics template field group. In the dataflow, Standard Mapping is enabled. However, we observe that eventType is not available and as a result, in the Profile UI the event name is shown as “Unknown.”Since eventType cannot be mapped explicitly, what is the recommended way to populate eventType for Adobe Analytics ingested data so that the Profile event name is resolved correctly? Is this expected behaviour for the Adobe Analytics source connector, and how should it be handled?

Hi All,I have to bring campaign performance data from Google AdWords to AEP. Can anyone suggest which schema type is best suited for this as the data is campaign performance data and not customer data ?In case I choose event schema , there is no fields in source to map with time stamp, can i use custom field for time stamp and event ID? Thanks,Sneha

I am using the CONCORD - Google Ads Enhanced Conversions extension in Adobe Event Forwarding. In the action code the header is set to a placeholder string like [[GOOGLE_ADS_DEVELOPER_TOKEN]] and I cannot find any function in the extension source that replaces it from settings, data elements, or secrets. But in Edge logs the outbound request shows a developer token header with a masked real value. Is the developer token baked into the published extension build by the vendor, or injected at publish time, and is it expected that the vendor uses one developer token for all customers?

Hi Community,We’ve implemented Mobile SDK in React Native app connected to AEP dataset.Issue: From 20,000 profiles sending events, only 250 have push tokens registered (~1.25% success) from both iOS and Android. What we have: Firebase Messaging configured ✓ MobileCore.setPushIdentifier(token) called ✓ Events arriving to dataset ✓ Permissions requested ✓ Any debugging tips or similar experiences? Thanks!

Hello Adobe Community,I'm experiencing an inconsistent behavior with batch data ingestion in AEP and would like to understand the underlying technical reasons.Issue: When uploading data via the UI to a Profile-enabled dataset, I'm getting error INGEST-1211-400 with formatted JSON, but the same data succeeds when converted to JSONL (newline-delimited JSON).Error Details:Error Code: INGEST-1211-400 Description: "An error occurred while processing the batch. Please contact support." Error Code: 150 - "Parsing errors occurred when converting or validating the data" Records received: 0 Records ingested: 0 What works: {"_id":"/profile/0001","personID":"000000000001","person":{"name":{"firstName":"Luis"}},"personalEmail":{"address":"user@example.com"}} What fails: {   "_id": "/profile/0001",   "personID": "000000000001",   "person": {     "name": {       "firstName": "Luis"     }   },   "personalEmail": {     "address": "user@example.com"   } }

Hi everyone,I’m following the official tutorial to install Adobe Tags / Web SDK and collect data on a website. After creating the Tag property, Datastream, and related configurations, the tutorial indicates that you can validate the setup by going to:https://luma.enablementadobe.com/content/luma/us/en.htmland then opening the browser developer tools to check for the digitalData object in the console. However, I don’t see the digitalData variable available on the page. What I’ve already checked: I verified that the page loads correctly and reloaded it multiple times. I used Adobe Experience Platform Debugger and tried to override the default Datastream ID with my own Datastream ID. After overriding and reloading the page, the behavior remains the same and digitalData is still not present. Based on the documentation below, I expected the digitalData object to be available for creating data elements:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/platform-learn/implement-web-sdk/tags-configu

I am trying to create a IF clause and has something like this..$$ BEGIN SET calculated_date=(SELECT MAX(timestamp) FROM dataset);  SET current_date= (SELECT now());  IF(TO_DATE(now())>TO_DATE(calculated_date)) THEN SET calculte_another_date=(SELECT Date_field from a dataset);  IF(TO_DATE(now())= TO_DATE(calculte_another_date)) THENDO this END IF;END IF;END$$

Is there a way to uncheck the ‘required’ in a xdm schema for a field after it is created and saved?

Is it?

I am trying to map fields like First name,Last name,Segment IDFor activating  SEGMENT to a destination in AEP.Is there a way, where I can map the segmentID field to the destination.

Greetings. I'm having a dickens of a time trying to stop cookies like "mbox", "s_sq", "s_plt", "s_pltp", and others from dropping upon the loading of Adobe Launch in a website before the user selects whether they wish to use cookies through OneTrust. It looks like the cookies are created and dropped when the minified Launch JS file is loaded from adobedtm. The Launch JS is necessary for the page to run properly from the outset, so I just need to stop the cookies from dropping. If anyone has any recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

Hi all,I am using the Adobe Web SDK to send data to AEP to then be ingested by additional services (CJA). I want to set up 2 launch properties, one for the anonymous marketing website (logged out) and one for the logged in user. This is for the same website but I want to utilize 2 properties to split the logged in and logged out experiences and therefore what I deploy on each side. How would I be able to maintain 2 different launch properties but not consider one consumer moving from the logged out experience to the logged in experience as 2 different sessions, if a consumer moves to the part of the web that utilizes 1 launch property to the other I still want to persist the same session/ECID and not have it considered a new session/user if I join those 2 properties data together in CJA.Thanks and appreciate any responses.

How to generate such a dummy identity using Data Distiller? Do you know any function which can create dummy str/int?

Hi everyone,I noticed something odd in AEP Datastream Data Prep and wanted to check if this is expected.IssueWhen I map xdm.productListItems[*].name → eVar35, the automatic mapping of productListItems[*].SKU → the Analytics products variable stops working. What I expectedSKU should still flow into the products string (default behavior)Name should flow into eVar35 (custom mapping)What actually happens✅ eVar35 gets the product name❌ SKU disappears from the products variableSample payload{"event": {"xdm": {"eventType": "application.screen_view","timestamp": "2025-11-19T10:10:21.684Z","productListItems": [{"SKU": "200581","name": "TEST","priceTotal": 249.0,"quantity": 1}]}}}QuestionsIs this expected behavior or a bug?How can I capture both SKU (products variable) and name (eVar35)? What is the recommended approach? Thanks for any guidance!

Hi @community,I working on creating extract of qualified segments using query service. Query service join tables "segmentsnapshot" and "profilesnapshot" and fetch segment id and segment name along with other profile attributes. Is there any way I can extract segments using query, which has evaluation type "Batch" only not "Edge" and  "Streaming"..Field "evalaution_type".is neither present in "profilesnapshot " nor in "segmentsnapshot" tables, but exist in API calls. Thanks in advanceBest Regards..

Hello, to avoid generating lots of additional requests we've enabled eventGroupingEnabled in the clickCollection object, as per https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/web-sdk/commands/configure/clickcollection#click-collection-settings-using-the-web-sdk-javascript-library - and as anticipated link tracking data (from when a user clicks on a link on the previous page) with is being combined with the page load event. See the attached XML! However, we're finding that such requests end up being processed as hits classed as link clicks (page_event = 10 in the Adobe data feed). No pageview hits are generated. We're finding that we're massively undercounting pageviews on some pages which were reached through links. Has anyone come across a similar issue? Is the expectation that requests that include both pageview and link parameters are processed as two separate hits? Elsewhere in the documentation we're told that requests are ei

How can I retrieve the batchId through a get API call using the datasetId or flowId or xactionId.

Hi, I have a question about how identity fields behave in AEP. If multiple schemas use the same field group that contains an ecid field, and I mark ecid as an identity in Schema A, will Schema B automatically treat ecid as an identity as well? I couldn’t find explicit documentation confirming this, so any clarification would be appreciated. Thank you very much

Hi everyone,We’re in the process of configuring the Snowflake → AEP streaming connector (using Snowflake Streaming. Before we proceed further, I’d like to confirm a few details:What we understand so far:Similar to batch ingestion, we’ll be creating a dedicated Snowflake service account/user for AEPWe’ll need to coordinate authentication for that user (preferably key-pair)We’ll also need to set up the warehouse, database, schema, and target table/view for AEP to read fromAccess privileges needed: USAGE on warehouse, database, schema + SELECT on the target table/viewQuestion for the community:Are these steps exactly the same as what’s required for the batch Snowflake connector, or are there additional/different requirements specific to the streaming connector? Are there any best-practices or checklist items you’d recommend specifically for the streaming setup?Any gotchas or configurations that differ for streaming versus batch when using Snowflake → AEP?Thanks in advance for any insights.

Hi, I want to create an audience based on a journey condition. example invalid emails i want to create an audience for invalid email then we can send them day 10 mando comms. I have tried nodeID but it is not working. giving me 0 count. How can i do this?

Hi @community,I am working on segment export , where I am exporting comma separated segment name along with profile attributes. To extract segment details and customer id, I am leveraging "profilesnapshot" and "segmentsnapshot" tables, but i get data for "realized" segments only and there is no data for "existing" segments. In Audience listing can see data for "existing" segments. My "segmentsnapshot", "profilesnapshot" and "segment evaluation" jobs are running daily without failure. Please assist me in finding why profilesnapshot dataset show "realized" segments only and audience listing show "existing" for same segments profiles. Thanks in advanceBest Regards

Hi Adobe Team,   My team is currently working to send audiences via RTCDP to a vendor. They require to receive files as CSV. Is there any capability from the platform to send files as CSV instead of JSON. Has anyone else experienced this issue before and have any workarounds?   Thanks, Nick

Hey folks, has anyone worked with any out of the box XDM field groups or classes for insurances?  Which would they be, and are they a good starting point or do they require a lot of adaptation work?

I’m working on cloning an existing schema. I successfully retrieved the target schema and created the cloned schema, but I’m encountering PES errors. While validating the mixins, the API consistently returns an error stating it expects version 1.65.1 of the mixins. However, the mixins returned by the API have varying versions. Even when I attempt to retrieve a mixin using a specific version from the list, or using the following endpoints: Https://platform.adobe.io/data/foundation/schemaregistry/tenant/mixins/{mixin id}?version=1.1 Https://platform.adobe.io/data/foundation/schemaregistry/tenant/mixins/{mixin id}?version=@latesthttps://platform.adobe.io/data/foundation/schemaregistry/tenant/mixins/{mixin id} I'd still get the error looking for version 1.65.1? Any idea on how to fix this issue? Thanks!

Subresource Integrity (SRI) is a security feature that enables browsers to verify that the resources they fetch (for example, from a CDN ) are delivered without unexpected manipulation. It works by allowing you to provide a cryptographic hash that a fetched resource must match. How to add the integrity attribute to the Adobe Launch script below.<script type="text/javascript" src="https://assets.adobedtm.com/launch-.min.js " async></script>
