What are the best practices for Single-Page Apps tracking using Launch? Basically, I'm looking for a robust techique for collecting / dispatching virtual pageviews (JS framework agnostic).Here https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/experience-cloud/launch/c_extension-dtm.html I found that Launch Core extension contains events like “Custom Event” and “Data Element Changed”.  I suppose I should use one of these features, but not sure which one to select as I don’t know their pros and cons.  On the web I found some examples for DTM only, I don’t know if they are applicable to Launch. When working with GTM, I used custom events for these purposes. However custom events in GTM are just key-value pairs pushed into the GTM data layer. I need to load content in a specific order where timing is super important. what is the best way to accomplish this in launch. In DTM, I could use sequential HTML but I don't see that option in launch for a third party tag.I tried creating a rule and use "then" but when I check console.logs it doesn't fire in that orderI need to make sure I fire in order:pardot cookie tracker scriptthen fire src script that gets written in with document.write and appends to our dataLayer object as a childthen collect the data from the child object in evarsstep 2 needs to be sequential as it takes more time to load and right now analytics is already trying to capture values before its ready to provide any. How can I create the same sequential HTML as I do in DTM that works?thanks for any help.

We've integrated adobe launch/analytics. When there's an event, it'll be immediately sent to analytics. Is there a way we can keep collecting the events (click/video play/video ended) configured in launch and send to analytics later as a bulk. This is mainly for, the device may not be online all the time and to reduce the network calls sent to analytics.If there's a network extension that can be developed, so that launch will use that network extension instead of OOTB, that'll be great. Hi There,A site has Webtrends Analytics implemented via DTM We want to implement Adobe Analytics via Launch and run it side by side with Webtrends to gain confidence on Analytics data before switching over to AA.Is this achievable? I understand both product use the same satellite object so I am concerned whether they would conflict.

Hi, I am trying to implement the performanceTiming Plugin with DTM. I implemented the Plugin like it is explained in the documentation: performanceTiming I also implemented the required other plugins:appendListgetPreviousValueI also did all the configuration and created events 40-49 and evar52 for the tracking. I implemented it on a site where an iframe is embedded. When loading the homepage and starting the visit, the values are stored in the s object in the console. When opening another page, I would assume that in this case events 40-49 and evar52 have to be set. For eVar52 it is set and fine, but the events are not set. In the s object I get the following info:ptc: truepte: "event40,event41,event42,event43,event44,event45,event46,event47,event48,event49"Why are the events not set? Does this problem occur because there is no "real" new page load on the second page view as just the iframe is loaded?Thanks for your help and kind regards, Jasmin

Hi,seems that when you add the Facebook extension to your lib, but you do not express an explicit use of the pixel through one of the standard action choices (e.g. add action "Extension = Facebook Pixel", "Action Type = Send Page View"), the Facebook pixel code is not loaded.We encountered this problem on one of our sites, where we configure the extension with it's pixel ID, but where we have custom javascript code to make the "fbq" calls. The pixel code is not loaded, and thus facebook pixels are not fired...What is the reasoning behind this except maybe for some lib code optimalisation?Stefan

This seems like it should be pretty straightforward.... a good portion of AEM customers must be using marketo and wanting to track form submits but I can't find any documentation.I have marketo forms embedded on several pages of my website, and I'd like to track how many form fills have occurred on any page each week. I used a standard marketo embed code (only edited for look n feel). Support has been telling me that I need an event based rule (what would trigger this and what should be the outcome?). Somehow, it calls a direct call rule that adds to my "form complete" event each time the form is submitted (what triggers the direct call and what is the outcome?). At this point, I'm not as worried about people who are filling out the form and submitting it while it's incomplete.... I just need more reliable numbers that match what I an see in marketo.Can someone suggest what should be in each field of the Event Based Tag & the Direct Call Tag? I have no idea where to start....

HI I configured Analytics extension within Launch and complied all the libraries and the build was also successful.Now I am trying this implementation with a test rule created by saving a static page on my local machine and rendering the page in Chrome.The Test rule triggers but not able to see the beacon and  debugger console shows the below errorGET file://assets.adobedtm.com/extensions/EP23d75a37c9fa4adb8bac5e****2e354a/AppMeasurement.min.js net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUNDI have tried all the configuration but have no luck.Appricaite if some one could suggest me a way to test it.Thanks

We currently have implemented a new website flow using Salesforce Communites and Lightning. The problem with Salesforce is they only allow you to inject the DTM header via an Iframe. They do not allow for the DTM header to be loaded directly on the main html page itself due to Content Security concerns. So we have created an iframe element with the src as the DTM header.This iframe executes our DTM rules on each page however I have no access to any of the elements on the parent page in which the iframe is hosted. Therefore I have no way to grab the buttons to generate click event, etc. In the Development tools via chrome I can grab these elements via parent.document.getElementById but from DTM it does not seem that I am able to grab these and that the parent object is not defined.Is there a way to grab the parent page elements from our iframe implementation of DTM? Is this even possible without the DTM header being on both the main page and the iframe?Any help on this would be great.Th

Hey guys,I created an event-based rule that is triggered when a user clicks on a link. I need to check if a certain class exists on an element to determine if the rule has to be triggered or not.The class is added when a user clicks on a link. The problem (I think) is that by the time the class is added, the rule condition is already checked and the rule is not triggered. Is there a way to delay the checking of the rule condition?I tried the following but it's not working: window.setTimeout(function() {if(!$('.login-register').hasClass('closed')) { return true;  }}, 1000); // Wait for one second to check if the class 'closed' has been added to the element.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,I wanted to migrate one rule from DTM to Launch. However, when I tried to use condition "Device Type" I saw a warning: Is there an upgrade being prepared or should I apply custom code logic (anything in _satellite object that could help here?)?Documentation is not up to date I believe. Currently, if you want to manage your points of interest for Location Tracking, it is recommended that you manage the information through Mobile Services using the interface or by uploading a CSV file to that location.  When you view the line in ADBMobileConfig.json for analytics.poi, it points to a file that begins with "https://assets.adobedtm.com/.../<fileName>.json.My questions is this: Can I point to a custom file of my own sitting elsewhere, or am I required to use the location shown in my config file.  The goal for having an alternate location and/or file name is to maintain a file that updates automatically instead of being required to upload a new file anytime the information changes.Thanks in advance!CC: Gigazelle​, Jen Andrews

I am having an understanding question due to crashes.For example I have the following behaviourLaunch 1 (Visit 1) --> App version 1  -->page a --> crashLaunch 2 (visit 1) --> app version 2How is Adobe counting the crashes for this case?A) crash 1 for launch 2 and app version 2, visit 1b) crash 1 --> app version 1, launch 1 and visit 1Plus is it somehow possible combining crashes with the page where it occured? how?
