Many Platform users have upwards of up to 90% of profiles being populated by behavioral data alone, in comparison to that of record data. Therefore, managing your behavioral data using expiration-rules is critical in ensuring compliance within your license entitlements and to prevent being obsolete for your use cases.  Customers often associate different weightage and relevance to different event-types and want to assign different expiry duration for them. An example would be choosing ‘30 days’ retention for ‘page views’ and ‘product browse’ events compared to 1 year for ‘purchase’ events. Hi, our company recently switched from old Adobe tracking to the new Experience Platform Web SDK. We followed the steps mentioned on Adobe's documentation and configured XDM schema and datstream. There were no issues with the set-up, however after mapping all our Pops, eVars and events when we tried to QA the tracking we found out in Adobe Experience Platform Debugger there are number of props, eVars and events missing out the values.The network section shows the same missing values.As per Adobe's documentations in "console" with command _satelite.setdebug(true) this can be done and we were able to track all the missing values from the debugger and we are also able to track all the data in Adobe Analytics workspace but this method would be a lengthy process for our QA team as they previously relied on Adobe Experience Platform Debugger.Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this error?

I was trying to impement webSDK on an frontend, but i faced an issue that extra event with event type web.webinteraction.linkClicks were received. Anyone has any clue about that?

Hi I am using Web SDK for data collection and then data is being sent to Adobe Analytics and CDP via a common datastream. During data ingestion we are facing data type mismatch error for fields having "true/false" or "yes/no" type of values. Here is one such error message  The message can't be validated due to the data type error: #/_experience/analytics/customDimensions/eVars/eVar62: expected type: String, found: Boolean. The Schema has these evars as String and not Boolean and these evars are getting values from the data element which in turn is using datalayer to fetch the values. We could not find any place where these evars or any variable related to these is set as Boolean on data collection side. Did anyone else face similar issue and found a resolution? ThanksParm

Hi all,We've been trying to pull data from CJA through the API.After some difficulty we were able to access some stuff like data views, dimensions, and metrics but we are unable to request anything from the /reports end point.Example of requests:res = requests.get("https://cja.adobe.io/data/dataviews", headers=get_headers())We've been checking this link: https://developer.adobe.com/cja-apis/docs/api/#tag/Reporting-API but requests.get("https://cja.adobe.io/reports", headers=get_headers, params=parameters()) does not work and returns a 403 for res.Any guidance or suggestions would be welcome! 

Has anyone created a source connection between Experience Platform and AWS using AWS PrivateLink (a VPC service)?  I know it is available in Commerce, but I wanted to know if there was a way to do the same with AEP.

I have been trying to implement adobe web sdk(only target) in the SPA environment. On the view change i am firing alloy.event to render the experience through target.In the current state, i can see my calls are going to target but getting no personalisation from target. could anyone help me here.

For example, when we output our segment to the Data Landing Zone the Date format is yyyy-mm-dd. Is it possible to change this date format in the output file to mm/dd/yyyy?

Hi,I am trying to automate the manual process of creating Property, etc using Launch API.I generated JWT programmatically so that I can exchange it for an access token. However, access token can not be obtained as I am getting the following error on my terminal:{"error_description":"The metascopes in the JWT are not a subset of the metascopes in the binding.","error":"invalid_scope"}I have gone through: https://www.adobe.io/authentication/auth-methods.html#!AdobeDocs/adobeio-auth/master/JWT/Scopes.md​, which shows the API-specific metascope. I am sure I have included it correctly in my program, also User Management API and I/O Management API is enabled under Services tab in my Adobe Console Integration, of which credentials are being used.Help is appreciated.Thanks

Hi Team, I am trying to Edit the Schedule of a Dataflow set up in CDP, which has been set up for almost a year. I wanted to Edit the Start Time of the incremental flow. I am able to edit the Frequency and Interval in UI but since data is being ingested daily, the Start Time is not Editable. Is there a way to Edit the start time now? Through API? Or do I again need to create a dataflow with the required start time? That will lead to duplicate records ingestions? Please suggest.Thanks. 

Hello folks! I am trying to duplicate the Adobe Analytics extension in a property. The reason is that I want an extension with a custom configuration that sends data to one report suite and another extension with other configuration that sends data to other report suite. Does someone know if that is possible? I know that in other TMS such as Tealium iQ it is possible, but I don't know if Adobe Launch it is possible. Thank you!

I have an archived library, let's call it "library A" that i need to debug. I published it (library A) to production, the change that was in there was failing. I had to revert to the previous library, let's call that "library Z". I need to use the library, library A, in the production environment, but without republishing it. I need the _satellite.environment.staging value to equal "production" during my debugging. This is the reason I can't use a development or staging version of library with the same change. I found an article that said I could download it, but there's no "Download" option in the dropdown (see screenshot attached). If I could get that, then I could use devtools to replace the published file, locally, and debug.  How can I download the archived library, library A? 

Hi team,  I am trying to create the required Streaming Segment in CDP Segment Builder with the Adobe Analytics streaming data and audience => Event1 (Form Start) exists and Event2 (Form Complete) does not exists in the next 4 hours. I basically want to create a definition where Event2 (Form Complete) does not exists within the next 4 hours of Event1 (Form Start) occurance. i.e A case of Form Abandonment where user has started the form and not completed within 4 hours of starting it. I have attached screenshot with the required Event Description. But I am not getting the option to Edit the Event2 occurance duration- when 'the Event2 does not occurs within next xyz hours'. Hi Team, I am trying to send a Streaming Segment with Adobe Analytics attributes to Activate in Destination. 2 attributes I am activating -> Hashed Id (evar89) and  Full URL (evar69) For Hashed Id (evar89)  --> I have set attribute  : IdentityMap: Email_LC_SHA256   ---> this is working fine and populating in the destination as expected. But for Full URL (evar69)  --> I have set the attribute as per the dataset :  timeSeriesEvents[*]._experience.analytics.customDimensions.eVars.eVar69    --> but I am getting a popup that there is no data in the selected attribute. PFA the details for reference.  Can you suggest how do I send an XDM Experience Event attribute (which is not an identity and cannot be selected from Identity Namespace) to Destination?  

HiI am trying to convert a date from the source system to AEP timestamp in Event dataset. The source contains data like 2022-11-21T05:00:00 with a T in between date and time. I have added a data prep function date(source_date,"yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss") to convert it into Timestamp. After doing this mapping i see No error and in preview data everything looks ok. However as soon as i start the import process the import process fails and i can see error in the monitoring section "Error transforming data for required destination path timestamp. Details: com.adobe.aep.aexl.jexl.AexlScriptEngine$AepJexlEngine.parse@1:5 Unable to resolve function/method 'date' with the specified parameters. Please verify the function name, parameter count and parameter type." I am not sure why this error is showing up when in preview data everything looks good Can someone help me how can i proceed now? I also tried to update the source_date using substr and replacestr functions but it looks like yo

Hi All, What is the best apprach to validate a segment by using customer ID in streaming evaluation mode.? Basically after checking out a cart from web site, I want to verify if customer id has been qualified for a specific segment in almost real time.    Thanks
