After running an accessibility scan, we found some tables on our site that do not have header tags since they are display-only and are not conveying data. I am trying to upgrade core.wcm.components package from 2.7.0 to 2.23.4.For some reason, the core tabs component does not show up the components that are configured inside it.When looking at the model JSON, the structure seems to have changed a bit. Hi Team, I have created one report to list out the content fragment based on some criteria using sql2 query everything is fine except one, as soon as I open the report it runs automatically without asking about required user input. I am not able to understand why it is behaving like this. Please share the idea to fix this issue. ThanksUmesh Thakur

Hello,I am facing an issue with the Rich Text Editor (RTE) inside AEM Content Fragment Models (CFM). When copying and pasting text within the RTE, the cursor remains in the correct position, but the page scrolls to the beginning of the RTE instead of maintaining the current scroll position. This disrupts the user experience, requiring manual scrolling back to the editing area after each paste action.Has anyone else encountered this behavior? Is there a known fix or workaround to prevent the unwanted scrolling?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Hi Team,We're currently using a Sling Model for an existing component and are attempting to create an identical component under a different name. Although the JSON data from the Sling Model is being printed(tried with add extra log) correctly according to the code logic, accessing the JSON data through the URL jcr:content/root/container/container/container_copy_copy_/column1_copy/container_2045280733/component-name.list.json results in a 400 Bad Request error. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue? Thanks

Just a small curiosity ... Recently someone used this term "fluid" with me in a discussion and suddenly it hit me.I remember long ago Adobe announced something called Fluid Experiences. What happened to it ? Hi All,we have a set of publishers for different regions like region A, B, C, D. One of the page within the card carousel component is missing in region A publisher, but is displayed fine in other regions publishers like B C D.tried comparing the data of the page which is not visible with the page in working publishers and figured out a missing date property which is renamed with @named annotation as originalPublishedDate in the model.On providing the published value missing page appears back and republish of page too works fine by fetching the current published date.I tried to resolve in above mentioned way but the issue keeps resuming only in one publisher making us to figure out root cause. my assumption was the page might have been installed directly on to publisher A via package without publishing via author and i tried the same scenario by creating a new page but the new page appeared on card carousel component as i installed the package. w/o any publishing done from author

Recently we have come across a requirement to migrate an application from AEM6.3/6.4 to AEMaaCS.Existing application has heavy customization done to the site's navigation. Three levels of navigation from sites interface. Let's sayLevel 1 > Tools,Level 2 > Tool1 till Tool 6Level 3 > each tool has different set of functionalities It is safe to assume that the dashboard has 15+ functionalities and few of the functionalities depend on the other functionalities.  We are seeing two options 1. Replicate the dashboard in AEMaaCS and keep track of the dashboard in the subsequent updates2. Create utility pages and port the dashboard functionality instead of customizing the dashboard.  Is it recommended to port the same dashboard from old AEM to AEMaaCS author instance? Is it even recommended to do so given the automatic feature and maintenance updates in lower environments in the AEMaaCS.

Hello, We have created a new datatype for the content fragment, as we need to overwrite certain fields in the universal Editor. We have generated a custom data type, and in AEM with the old editor, it works correctly, we have tested with a colorPicker and with a normal text field. (this example is a texfield to contribute a hexadecimal code color, not exactly a color picker)  The problem comes when we try to visualize those fields with the custom datatype in the new editor and with universal editor:1. new editor : It does not recognize the field and shows the following message. Field/type colorPicker/text-color is not implemented yet.  2. Universal editor. The custom datatype field does not appear.  Is it possible that custom datatypes cannot be generated for use with this? Hi, We are on AEM 6.5.The use case is to use AD groups to target content. The content can be in any path and can be targeted to a number of groups. when the members of that group login to the site they are able to see the content targeted for them. There are around 500+ AD groups. The application is using SAML based login. How to sync the AD groups to AEM? Any example on the targeting of content based on AD groups. 

I have a minimal amount of DAM assets under source control (~30 images). These correspond to some "test" content that is used for the local development loop- basically a handful of pages and components that always deploy out on every compilation. I am noticing that every image under source control actually gets quite a few renditions. Is it safe to omit these from source control, or are they required for the system to function properly?  Will they be regenerated automatically or leave everything in a semi broken state? For example, let's say I have a file: icon.png.  When adding a page for translation with target language en_gb, the source path is automatically set with en-gb instead of en_gb and translated page is created under en-gb. It seems like AEM is picking the first matching language in Sites, instead of correctly identifying the actual language code. 

Hi, I am trying to setup a local AEM instance with docker. So far I was able to setup a Author, Publish and dispatcher. But I only have issues with setting up the JVM remote debugging. I am able to connect the JVM debugger it is just not stopping at the breakpoints. I have a checkbox and a textfield. If the checkbox is checked the textfield is an required field. If the checkbox is not checked the textfield is not required. It works fine when changing the page properties of an existing page. I can only save the page if I filled the textfield when the checkbox is checked and I can save it when the checkbox is not checked and the textbox is not filled.But if I creat a new page the changing of the checkbox has no effect to the create Button.The validation works I can see that the required textbox changes if I check or uncheck the checkbox. That meens the red corner appears and diappears and in the HTML I see the "required".But the create Button is grey until I first add something into the textfield. I can then remove it an save the page no matter if I added something in the required textfield or not. So there is the flag: required but the create button do not really works correctly. So how can I "add" the "refresh" of the "create Button" if

Hello, I am using Language Wire for translations and I wanted my custom references to CFs to be automatically translated. Therefore I added the following config to translation_rules.xml with a property name and resource type to a custom component.<assetNode assetReferenceAttribute="contactList" checkInChildNodes="false" createLangCopy="true" resourceType="my-project/components/content/components/group-contacts/v1/group-contacts"/>The component resource type matches and the property contactList contains a string linking to a CF (/content/dam.../my-cf).However, this doesn't seem to be working and my referenced CF doesn't great translated. Publish to Brand portal doesnt work for Non-Admins inspite of having read, modify and replicate permissions. This used to work earlier with same set of permissions for non admin users but suddenly stopped working after the oct 2024 brand portal release - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-brand-portal/using/introduction/brand-portal-release-notes. The same set of permissions allows the same user to publish to dynamic media but publish to brand portal doesnt seem to work.

We are using AEM as a cloud service version 6.5.19.0 and ACS AEM Commons version 5.0.2. We are facing issues with the Dispatcher flush feature and the MD5 hash that is getting added to the client libraries after deploying JS or CSS changes. To fix both issues, we are planning to upgrade the ACS Commons version to 6.10.0. Can anyone help me with the best considerations to avoid any potential issues? Also, if you have faced any issues post-upgrade, please share your experience.
