In my DITA XML docs, I want elements that have an auto-generated unique ID, but I also want the IDs to follow a format/pattern of  element<title>, followed by element name, and unique generated ID number (eg. <fig id="Toaster-Oven_fig_2">).When configuring element id patterns in the Adobe Experience Manager Web Console Configuration page, can you specify the element <title> in the "pattern for generating IDs field"? The pattern is ${elementName}_${id}. Is it possible to specify the pattern: ${title}_{elementName}_${id}?

While doing incremental site publishing, a user can select topics which needs to be updated incrementally during AEM Site Generation. I have a custom post processing workflow which gets triggered once the execution of aem sites completes.In the custom workflow I need the list of topics which user selected during incremental site generation. Currently I don't see that getting passed to the metadata of the post processing workflow.Is there any way I can retrieve that topics information programmatically in post processing workflow.@divrajsingh

Do you have an estimated timeframe for the availability of the report (for authors) that shows the version labels for maps and topics? You could also suggest how to download a view of a baseline, which shows the versions and labels.Is the custom report described in, Chapter 3 Customized Reports. "Generating a report of versions, check-in comments and labels": https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-guides-learn/assets/aem-guides-expert-ses...an available substitute to use, and could you please provide the exact steps to access it if those documented aren't current? I have an requirement like whenever a property called "dxmlLastCreatedVersion" of an asset  is getting changed a listener should listen the event .I am using the below code kindly hv a look and let me know is this the correct way get an event for a node property change. Hi, Prior to creating the custom preset, I need the ditamap to be flattened(All files in one single folder without any subdirectories). Can this requirement be met in any way? I need to use CUSTOM output preset option not AEM sites       

I have turned on the node flattening feature in code with this config file: com.adobe.dxml.flattening.FlatteningConfigurationService.configprocess.label="DXML Flattening Configuration (A)"flattening.enabled=B"true" And my documents output and display correctly on my Author server, but when I publish and view the document on the Publish server, any element that was flattened does not display.  What would be the cause of this?

The only way I have found to view the version history of an AEM Guides DITA object is through the preview pane of the Assets > Files view. We have a sub-map that is used within several maps, and conditions are applied to topics in the sub-map. We haven't had an issue doing this with SDL's LCA, but is this allowed in AEM Guides (v4.2)? The topics in the sub-map are not properly excluding as expected for ORed conditions (e.g. a topic with props="analog ioLink" showing up in the "discrete" output when it should be excluded). Hello, In the Guides view, how can I generate a report or a listing of all topics in my map with columns for Version Number and Version Label? I don't have access to generating baselines as a quick way to review these attributes.  In the Manage tab for a map, I see several reports. The Topic List report doesn't include these attributes, and the Metadata report has a Tags dropdown but Version Labels isn't an option. I've tried selecting the Standard Tags option but the versions don't display.  Q:- Are the Version Labels used for dynamic baseline generation a different type of tag than those available within the topics? - Is there another type of report or view that non-admins have access to with this information? Thanks!

By default it looks like for AEM Site generation the meta description in the header is getting added byfmdita/components/dita/headAnd is looking for jcr:description.I expected that somewhere in the publish that shortdesc would have been set in the AEM site files as the jcr:description but that does not appear to be the case.  Should that be expected behavior? The shortdesc ends up in the published node structure so we could look to pull that property instead of the default.Any pitfalls or concerns with taking that approach?

When clicking View pages a reviewer can navigate through the pages, however, after annotating one page there is no option to go to the next page directly, when a reviewer tries to close the annotated page:-a weird characters are displayed on the page and the page won't close.-Sometimes, the reviewer has to click the Close button twice to close the page.-after closing, the tool takes a reviewer back to the first page of the document, not to the same annotated page. This experience causes issues for reviewers that have to go through voluminous documents of several hundred pages as they need to close each page twice or sometimes the page just doesn't close and then navigate to the next page as they are being thrown back to the beginning of the document after every annotation.I hope this clarifies the issue a bit, please let me know if you need any additional information.Steps to reproduce the issue:1. If i created 2 version of a topic i need to generate unique id for both version that i have created . so that i can able to link particular version of a topic to desired location.

We would like to have a single location (AEM) for our content. We want to author in DITA and then export/convert the DITA to markdown for use in our GitHub documentation. Also, we would like to import some of our markdown docs into AEM and convert them to DITA so that we no longer need to manage the content in two source systems and use two different markup languages.

When viewing a DITA Map in Guides I'm trying to see the "Broken Links" report. However, I can't even get to the "Manage" view in the AEM Guides repository panel because the "Author", "Manage" and "Output" menu links aren't even there. (see attached screenshot of what I SHOULD be seeing but am not seeing). Everyone else on my team can see the links. When I am logged in as others, I still cannot see the links and when I am logged in as an Admin, I can't see the links. When others are logged in as Admin, they can see the links. I'm running AEM 6.5.1.9.0. and maybe Guides 4.3.0 although I'm not certain because I don't know where to look to confirm this. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi,We recently upgraded our guides 4.3.1 and as part of testing we observed an issue with the Version Purge tool. We triggered purging with small test content and is not complete. We see that the Status:Purging in progress… from long time. The Abort purge operation also not working.  Please suggest.

Hi All,I'm trying to create PDF document using AEM guides. i have frontcover, some topics and backcover in PDF. I need to add one blank page at the end of the pdf document using javascript. Is anyone having idea, how to achieve this?

Is there a way to set any AEM Guides object to "translate = No" at the object/asset level? We do have some master files that are graphics only and without any text to translate, they can get "stuck" in our TMS. In our previous system, we could set any topic or graphic not to translate within the repository. Is there the same option in AEM?
