Adobe Experience Manager Forms

When I try to render an adaptive form in internet explorer, the css is coming with webkit instead of ms because of which some stylings are looking different. like below - Button in chrome - Button in IE - Please help me out with how I would be able to ms in theme.css or the theme editor?

I'm looking for AEM Forms 6.3 Support Pack, and it is not on my license site.  I found AEM 6.3 Support Pack, but AEM Forms 6.3.  Thank you.

Hello Team, We have requirement where users will be uploading forms to AEM repository and they will keep on updating forms data and publish the forms. We expect versions to be created for forms each time when we update form and publish, so that we can revert to previous versions of form if required. But version history is not created for AEM forms. We have uploaded XDP forms in AEM and when we publish forms using 'Publish' option from Forms console[1], the version history is not created/stored in aem repository. Please advise. How do I control the version of rules in the rule editor by maintaining them at a single location? I just don't want to checkin my content node into GIt to maintain this.

Working in a implementation where the we need to collect lot of information in multiple forms from the user. The subsequent forms need to be displayed based on some conditions defined in a rule engine (exposed as REST service, which can tell what is the next form that is eligible for that user). I looked at Form set (Adobe Experience Manager Help | Form set in AEM Forms ) and the eligibility expression, but it seems a simple javascript based implementation. The condition not just changes based on user inputs but also other events out of the forms, so it is important to invoke the rule engine to determine the next form. Does AEM Forms support this dynamic navigation to different forms?

Whenever i enable HTML 5  input type for numeric component, the numeric pinner like below is also popping up. Can I hide this using the theme editor? or is there any other way to hide this?

Hi:I was recently attempting to setup a Publish instance on a demo AEM 6.1 JEE server I am running. I am using OOTB telephone field instead of the numeric field because it's input type is "tel" which forces mobile devices to pop number keypad.How ever when I am trying to compare values of 2 telephone fields. some numbers seem to clash.Create an adaptive form without a form model.Add 2 telephone fields in the form.Open rule editor of the second telephone field and add a rule in the code editor as - "this.value > telephone1.value"add a submit button to the form. Make both the fields required.Remove the validation patterns for the fields.Preview the form.Put 2000 in the first field and 19000 in the second field which satisfies the requirement. But it still throws a validation error when you focus out of the field or when you try to submit.  I am not able to use the numeric field because it does not trigger validation error right after I focus out of the field. The text fiels and the telephone fields do.Thanks for the help.

Hi,I have been looking the out of the box "Revalidate on Server" functionality on my adaptive form.From testing, it looks like any validation that has been specified on individual fields with the rules editor (including functions in clientlibs) are re-executed.Can anyone confirm the exact process that occurs when revalidating on the server please?I would like to know if any checks are performed e.g on properties configured on the fields such as:* Regular expressions (edit picture clause)* Maximum length* Minimum lengthsetcThanks,James

Hi all!  I'm testing some items in my forms setup, and am running into an issue. In our Long Description, we want to include links to external sites. When I try putting  a link into the Long Description, even if I use the Source Edit, the URL gets stripped out. I put <p>This is my long description with <a href="http://www.google.com" alt="Google" target="_blank">Google!</a></p> into my Long Description. But when I save and preview, the link disappears and it returns <p>This is my long description with <a target="_blank" alt="Google">Google!</a></p>. The href has been removed. What is causing this? As a secondary question, is there a way to embed images in the Long Description? Thanks!

Hi, I recently started using AEM Forms 6.2 for developing adaptive forms and I'm a bit lost. How can I control the visibility of a button in the way, that it will be invisible until every mandatory field has been filled? I know I can use the visual editor to add such rules, but this solution is very cumbersome, as I would have to modify it permanently when adding or removing fields. I'm looking for a more comfortable solution, like a JavaScript that will permanentely check all those mandatory fields. Any ideas about this?

I configure Adobe Experience Manager Forms 6.3 on JEE on JBoss Cluster.The cluster includes two instances, one a "master" node on Windows Server 2012 VM, and one a "slave" node on another Windows Server 2012 VM. And JBoss Application Server runs as a Windows service on both VM.Now, if I reboot the VM of "slave" node for Windows Update, almost always Adobe Experience Manager Forms on JEE fails to restart. After that, I should manually start the Windows service for JBoss Application Server.I wonder how come the Windows service for JBoss Application Server couldn't start successfully. I will be grateful for any help you can provide.m.t

Do you think it is a good idea to use telephone component in adaptive forms to use as a numeric field because it's input type is tel, so that the number keypad pops up for phones. Where as for the numeric field component, the input type is text.

I need to retrieve the internal node structure(which is nothing but including the node structure of how the components of the page are stored in the JCR) of the page and render the UI giving the path of the page in aem6.3. Can anyone help me out?

I'm running AEM Forms 6.3 and experience an issue when dynamically populating a dropdown.On initialize of a certain field I add an array of items to the dropdown using DropDown.items = array. Now when the filed changes I'd like to replace the items with another set of items. That doesn't work. The new items are appended so the drop down list get's longer. What's strange is that the newly created set of items can be changed but the original assignment is always kept.Further more printing DropDown.items to the console the correct items show up.To further illustrate that# initial assignment - 5 items - DropDown list contains 5 items visually - DropDown.items.length = 5# new assignment - 3 items - DropDown list contains 8 items visually - DropDown.items.length = 3Verified in Chrome and Firefox.We are running AEM Forms JEE - SP1 - available patches are installed.

Is there a way to change the data model from Form Template (xdp)  to a  shema (xsd) after the adaptive form was created?regards Jan

I am using AEM Form 6.3. Currently, the inputs are pre-filled as described in the article with a JSON schema (Adobe Experience Manager Help | Prefill adaptive form fields ). It all works.However, I would like to pre-populate a static text as well. The static text component has been set via "Bind Reference" as well. But the value from the incoming JSON was not displayed on it. It only displays the default value of "The text will appear here". I am trying not to use textbox as the static text has the ability to wrap itself with the href attribute, which is required in my use case as well.Is there a way to get it to display the value from my JSON? Or is there an alternative?

In our adaptive forms we are using some jquery features and in 6.2 all is running well. After migrating to 6.3 we get an error:Request-URL: http://localhost:8080/lc/etc/clientlibs/fd/af/I18N/underscore-min.map404 underscore-min.map not found.Any ideas what's going wrong?Regards Jan

guidebridge.validate() to validate multiple fields at dependent on each other at one time

Hi,I'm working on an multi language form with the Livecycle Designer 8.2.My form includes a couple of Text fields with captions in English. I've implemented a button to change the language of the captions into French through a "click" JavaScript Event.But I'm still not able to perform the caption language change with my code: Myform.multilang.bt_english::click - (JavaScript, client) [...] xfa.resolveNode("tf_site.caption.value.#text").value = "French Caption"; [...]Has there anybody an hint for me?
