Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hello experts, I am new to Adobe forms and i have been struggling to calculate the total of a column based on condition.My problem is that when i try the code below i cannot access any property of oFields(e.g. length, item...). Hi Team, We created Adaptive Form  Using FDM (Form Data Model ) . Hello experts,I have again a question. This time it's about the table entries. In the fbl1n t-codes view, I have data with a negative sign. For example, something is not paid, and it's written 1234.45-  and the calculation is at the end. I designed my table to fetch the data and make a calculation in the PDF. The calculation is working perfectly, showing the minus signs when the amount is negative. My problem is that in the table, all values are positive instead of a combination of positive and negative signs. The field I'm using is dmbrt and in the debugger, following the logic, it is also a negative sign. How can I put the sign in the table. this is in the table this is how it looks like in the pdf. I need those values to be negative, with a - sign after the number

Hello, Could you please provide input In AEM Form I have radio and checkbox component with multiple radio and checkboxes in it as per the below snapshot    Requirement: -My requirement is that when I select radio button and checkbox it must show that checked checkboxes value correctly.Say For Radio-3, I select certain checkboxes and Radio-4, I select different checkbox it must show the values correctlyCurrently it is not working as expected, as when I set programmatically the checkbox the next button on the form does not show enabled Issue: -Next button does not get enabled correctly even though check box is checked programmatically. I'm working on a dynamic PDF form with conditional actions. For instance, if "First" is selected from the dropdown, Textfield1 appears; if "Second" is chosen, then Textfield2.  I've a "Reset" button that clears all data. However, even though the dropdown shows nothing after a reset, Textfield1/2 still on.  I know we can set the visibility, but my actual form contains a lot of object and, I don't like to add them manually. Is there any function to bring my form back to its original state, where all dependent objects disappear when I hit "Reset"? Or, do I need to write the hardcoded to banish them manually?

I have a form Workflow that maps some variables from a form submission, sends an email with a custom template that references some of those variables, then triggers an 'Assign Task' workflow step.  The 'Send Email' step works perfectly, it includes the data form the form submission in the template as expected (via something like ${variableName} in the template markup). However, if I do the same thing in the 'Assign Task' workflow step, the same variable does not work. It just gets printed in the email as plain text.  This is despite other default Workflow variables in the same email template working correctly (ex. ${workitem_title}). Does the 'Assign Task' workflow step just not support variables in email templates, or am I doing something wrong?  See attached screenshot of template for example.  Thank you!

I am working on a PDF project in Adobe Designer and wondering if there's a way to use a custom design for radio buttons. I know I can use different style for the radio button (star, diamond, cross, etc.).   However, I'm thinking of putting a '?' inside a circle or square (instead of star). Plus, when clicked, I want it to pop up a message box.  Any ideas or tips on how to do this?

Hi Team, I have used AEM interactive communication in our application and getting the below error while generating letters in the logs. Letters are getting generated fine without any issues. Binding org.dom4j.tree.DefaultElement@70c50d2a [Element: <bind attributes:[org.dom4j.tree.DefaultAttribute@4770598c [Attribute: name match value "dataRef"], org.dom4j.tree.DefaultAttribute@6cdf9a65 [Attribute: name ref value "PLACEHOLDER"]] I have a single layout in AEM instance and there are two layouts in CRXDE. I dont know why.. Can anyone help me to figure out the issue. Thanks!

Hello All,Till now, client AEM application has only public pages, there was no concept of User registration, Login. But now, we are introducing Gated pages, User Registration, Logic feature. Only registered users can see private pages. To implement this, team is thinking of utilizing MongoDB to save the user details. Anyone has used MongoDB with AEM application?  Could you please help me in this? Thanks

We created an adaptive form using core components. We configured a guide container submission like 'Submit to REST endpoint'. When a user fills a form and submits it using german or another language, our servlet recieves incorrect data.For instanse:" Adres�t " instead of " Adresát " As far as I know, there are OOTB intermediate services which handle input data. How can we configure them to use UTF-8 coding?We tried configured our submission to 'Invoke an AEM workflow' - we get correct data.

HiIs it possible to add multiple default values? Like, I have a multiselect dropdown with values:1=Argentina2=China3=Serbia I would like to preselect values 2 and 3 (China and Serbia). I tried to add 2,3 to the default field, but it doesn't work when I add a comma separated list of values. It works when I only add 1 value. Is it not possible? 

We have a form which when submitted invokes a workflow and submit the DOR to Amazon S3 bucket. It works fine via publisher though giving 204 form dispatcher. Please advise  Dispatcher URL not working i.e request not redirect to Publish server to process  Direct publish Server working as expected . Here is header details

Hello All, I am creating a form using AEM Designer. The purpose of the form is for users to confirm task completion. Once a user completes the form, they finalise their process by selecting a 'submit' button which auto generates an email. The email includes a copy of the completed Adobe form and is addressed to our organisations data ingestion email account. Unfortunately, due to security limitations, our data ingestion processes cannot ingest data from an Adobe document. I have been advised that our data ingestion processes require the data from the completed Adobe form to be converted into either CSV or XLSX format. I am hoping that I can develop the capability in AEM Designer for the 'submit' button to generate an email with the data from the completed form contained in an attached CSV document. I've just installed AEM Workbench v6.5.0. When I open workbench, I can login to the server and retrieve the definitions without a problem. However, when I try to open a form using Designer, I get the error below.  Any ides what could be causing this? Thanks

Hi Everyone, We have a Form-A which has some fields like firstname(value=fname) and lastname(lname) etc. We use(EMbed/Include ) this Form-A in Form B and then in Email template we doFirst Name: ${fname}<br>Last Name: ${lname}<br> But in response after submitting the form we get the same response not picking the values from the values we filled in form.Do we need any syntax changes here?

We are updating our templates with a new company logo.• We have an issue with ~10 AEM templates that is referencing the path below for a new logo.• The absolute path does not exist in the AEM template, fragment and the Image file path is correct.• File does not exist: \\xyz.com\appdata\templaterepository\DEV\CC\Forms\Images\cpic_clr_logo (002).png• We are using a relative path in the Image tag with a content type that’s working in some templates, but not others.• When we render the form in HTML mode, we see the logo.• When we flatten the PDF and call the generate bundle call, the link for the PDF does not display the new logo.• The server.log error is generated below: File does not exist: \\xyz.com\appdata\...• We did originally have the full absolute path, which we believe may have started the issue.• We removed the full absolute path from approximately 150 forms, but 10 of them still generate the error below.• The File does not exist error is only generated in our STG environment.• T

We are developing a suite of Themes for our AEM Forms Cloud instance. Everyone in the Create Form Wizard shows with the default Thumbnail image. Is there a way to have a thumbnail image added to the repo such that it gets deployed to AEM. Hoping for something like how Beryl, Canvas etc appear for the previous approach.
