Hi Team, I am trying to build my project created with archetypeVersion=34 and getting the below error in my OSGi after successful deployment,  The bundle is in the installed state with the below errors. (Project created by archetype 34, AEM version : 6.5.10, mvn version : 3.8.3) I am facing same error with archetypeVersion=30 and archetypeVersion=36  as well.   Could you some help me. Thanks,

Hi All,As part of upgrade, we have our AEM 6.5 environment provisioned from AEM 6.4. I am not able to upload any assets in DAM. I click on Create > Files, Select the file(s) to upload and nothing happens after that. Nothing logged in browser console. No errors in error.log file. DAM Update Asset doesn't get triggered either.Can it be due to some global config blocking the upload? Regards,Mansi

In assets UI we have added few custom columns in list view. when we select on any article and then click on export metadata it will export those columns of that article into csv. so we are not able to get the custom columns added into csv.Here are the list of columns in list view. Here are the list of columns in the exported csvSo, its showing only few columns in the exported csv. we want all the custom columns to be added into that csv and also remove unwanted columns while exporting.   

I am using AEM 6.4.8 and acs aem commons version is 5.1.2. There is a requirement in the code to create  custom oak indexes. So, I am using a service "Ensure oak Index" which is part of acs aem commons. This service is being used to sync my custom oak indexes to aem oak indexes. Now, the issue is everytime when we restart aem, then indexing also restarts. Is there a way to stop reindexing again when aem restarts.or Is their a way to sync our custom oak indexes without using ensure oak Index.

Hi All,  QA team and authors are creating a lot UAT pages in stage under below path for testing new upcoming go-live /content/project/siteA/, /content/project/siteB, And busines team creating pages in prod under same path very frequently, we have basic auth for this in prod, so business user creates and test.  Authors asking for a content sync for same nodes from prod to stage for newly pages created.  But when we do content sync the same node will over-ride in stage. But authors and QA team need content sync for newly created prod pages to stage and as well as all the UAT pages should remain in stage. UAT pages are created random location in stage and in prod business also creating the pages randomly.  Can anyone help here for incremental content sync without over -riding pages in stage.  Simply I need all the pages from prod to stage for above paths and all the stage pages also should be available for QA team after cont

I'm trying to get a list of valid smart crop renditions for an image in my AEM Java code. I can get the standard static renditions (e.g. thumbnails) by adapting the resource to the Asset interface but this does not tell me the valid smart crop options the image has. Does anybody know how I can get these in Java ?

When I save the asset metadata update screen,  the interface shows this error message "Unable to create new tags. Check for access privileges to create tags." I'm the admin on the platform and no new tags being added.  Platform: AEM Asset Cloud.

I need to create custom asset filter and after creating custom filter it should visible along with OOB search assets filter.User needs to see custom filter as well as OOB filter.can any one explain with example that how to overlay this  /libs/settings/dam/search/facets/assets.  

Hello there, i have this trouble with our AEMaaCS and all the InDesign links right after the migration. (Bulk import)All the InDesign Links are broken. All of them.They still go to whatever local hard drive they came from. To the local hard drive from were the InDesign file was edited last.This could be anything - like for example a hard drive from the local media agency, from a photographer that created the pictures or somebody within the companies graphics department. Something alike happens to the links when the pictures are moved within AEM abd the old URL Path is no longer valid. The InDesign does not recognize the change and still has the old URL in the link pannel.You see, all links are in the DAM, but the InDesign still thinks them in these local folders.So because the linked picture files are all in the AEM, a reprocess of the InDesign file finds them within the AEM.When i look up the InDesign files properties page, then the AEM lists all the links, with the correct AEM U

Hi,  When I try to configure a new rule (for example visible based in new rule), in the modal, all dropdowns appears in the select with "Dropdown Field" label instead of real label. I attach an image. I have tested in AEM 6.5 and it works correctly. I didn't see this issue as Know Issues. Please can you check it? AEM 6.5.12  AEM 6.5 Regards!

I have a custom component that relies on JCR order for displaying assets (specifically, Content Fragments) in a particular order. The order should be customizable by Authors.In AEM 6.5.6 and prior, the assets could be ordered in the List View by drag and dropping a handle at the right hand side of the list – as long as the parent folder was set to "Orderable" (i.e. had a "sling:OrderedFolder" type in JCR).However, after upgrading to AEM 6.5.7 (Service Pack 7) the handles are no longer visible.They appear to be hidden via a CSS class, possibly related to the introduction of the sorting functionality in the Card View and Column View.I am wondering, is this a defect in AEM 6.5.7 or is the ordering functionality gone for good?Is there any alternative way for Authors to order Assets?

Instantiate a node object with session.getNode(/content/blogs) and then iterate through the child nodes and print the title for each.B. Use PageManager.getPage(“/content/blogs”) of the static PageManager class to instantiate a Page object and then iterate through the child pages and print the title for each.C. Use the QueryDebugger to look for all children of /content/blogs and then iterate through the result set and print the title for each.D. Adapt the resourceResolver to the PageManager service, then use the getPage(/content/blogs) to instantiate a Page object and then iterate through the child pages and print the title for each.

I am facing one issue while publishing and unpublishing of assets into Brand Portal (AEM 6.5.11). When I publish assets to Brand Portal, it sets a property dam:portalReplicationAction to Activate as well sets cq:lastReplicationAction to Activate. Similarly, when I click Unpublish from Brand Portal in AEM, it sets dam:portalReplicationAction to Deactivate as well sets cq:lastReplicationAction to Deactivate. This is same behaviour on the vanilla instance as well.   Due to change of cq:lastReplicationAction, it causes an issue for us as it calls our custom Event Handler. Is there an OOTB way that can stop this property cq:lastReplicationAction from being affected? Or do we need to write some custom solution for this?Anyway, I am going to raise an Adobe ticket for this but if someone has faced this issue before, could you please share your experience? 

hi, is it possible to have one role that can create assets folders plus CRUD operation on the files/assets and another role that could only do CRUD operations on files but without possibilities to create folders ? I couldn't find documentation explaining different roles for assets (owner, editor) Thanks

HI Everyone, I am trying to use "Asset Bulk import" inside my local AEM set up with sdk installation (Used sdk : aem-sdk-2022.4.7138.20220427T075748Z-220400.zip).
