Adobe Experience Manager Assets

Hello, In my current implementation, we have Dynamic Media setup in Central DAM, and I'm able to do select the assets and publish them to the Dynamic media in Central DAM and then I am able to use them in a different environment where I'm actually creating pages. The issue that I have is that anytime I have to publish I have to always select the assets and do it, I want to do it at the folder level, I should be able to select folders and be able to do the "Publish to Dynamic Media" and then the images within the folder and the child folders should be published and available to use for making/creating content.I do not see an out of the box solution for this, can anyone guide me here?Thank you.

Hello Team,We want to use content fragment + graphql feature to expose headless content. We could achieve individual components model and graphql endpoint to specific content fragment via persisted/http post api. from FE, this could be a problem making a API call for each component from performance point of view. So we want to combine the different content fragment and expose via single api. Please let us know how we can do this ? Hero Card -> we have individua endpoint for this componentTeaser -> we have individua endpoint for this component But we want to expose for page data combined json data of Hero card and teaser in single endpoint.

When we create a controlled vocabulary using tags is there a way to lock that down in custom tag fields for the people doing the tagging? We have set up a robust controlled vocabulary using tags. We have also created multiple custom fields and mapped each one to the specific tag string it pertains to. I want to limit people doing the tagging to only being able to use the existing tags in the specific string thats mapped to the field, however, even though the field is mapped to those specific tags I can’t find a way to prevent people from free typing a tag into the field. Is there a way to lock that down so people can't free type anything in there? If people need a new tag I'd like that to only be able to happen through a request to the admin.

Hi everyone i have workflow group for about us pagesWhere all users can only see only about pages of the site ( people who trigger and who approve the workflow belong to same group)if one user from that group triggers the workflow, except him, rest should be able to approve it. When we apply a metadata profile to a child folder of a parent with a metadata profile we have to choose which profile to use. It doesn’t inherit the data down to the children. For example, we have a profile for Brand attached to the Brand folders. Then we have subfolders under those for the Lines of Business that have profiles attached to them. Ideally, I can create a profile for Brand and one for Line of Business. I’d like to apply the Brand profile to the Brand folder and then apply the Line of Business profile to the Line of Business folder and see the data collected from the Brand folder passed down to the Line of Business one. We have Brand and Line of Business folders in multiple places in our DAM so not being able to pass down the data collected is going to create a crazy amount of metadata profiles which will become very difficult to manage from an admin perspective. So I’m hoping there might be something existing at the moment or in the works that will allow us to pass the me

Hi, We purchased AEM Assets last year and have begun uploading assets, but we are wondering if there is an AEM Assets archiving capability? If so, what documentation have you found that outlines this capability? If not, how do you archive assets in AEM Assets? Do you delete them, add them to a folder named "Archive," etc.

Hi All,      After following all the steps defined in the following url : https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/security/oauth2-support-for-mail-service.html?lang=enI am not able to receive any email for Office365. Access token is also generated. Can anyone try to help me resolve this. Is this the only process to be followed or after generating the access token any other steps need to be followed in order to get the Email ? Thank you.

We're facing issue in ACS AEM common reports. When we try to create the report it created successfully but not showing the below list. I could see the reports under var/acs-aem-commons/report.  Please suggest if you faced the similar issue. Attached the snapshot.

I want to implement this tool for bulk metadata editing tool.So if I want to maintain the metadata for all assets in a folder at once, but they have different values in different metadata fields. So I can select the assets that I want or folder. Extract excel and work offline and update it,  or changing the fields directly. Any ideas how this is possible?

Hi,Our client is asking us to implement connected DAM feature on AEM 6.5 instance hosted on premise. We have two AEM instances:  Sites author and Remote DAM author. We implemented all of  the steps provided on this URL https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/assets/using/use-assets-across-connected-assets-instances.html?lang=enOn sites author  we need to configure all required parameters on this configuration page/libs/dam/remoteassets/content/configuration/wizard.htmlThere is a test button when I click that button I get this message: SUCCESSRemote DAM and Local Sites can communicate and Credentials are valid.Once I click the save button on the screen the passwords of both "remote DAM technical user"  and "Local site technical user" is getting encrypted and password hash is getting saved on the node: This is  the configuration node : /conf/global/settings/dam/remotedam/configuration/jcr:contentAfter saving the configuration when I

Hi Team, We have an AEMaaCS assets instance which has brand portal enabled on it. I have admin access to the AEM production environment as well as to brand portal. When I navigate to Brand Portal section in Cloud services, I am unable to view he brand portal configuration and also unable to see the Create button. I can view the same on Stage environment for the same program.  Thanks,Yash

One of the customer (Financial domain) is asking  Does Smart Tags and/or Dynamic Media features of AEM (or smart content service leveraging Adobe Sensei) access demographics or PII data?  It's an Assets implementation AEM-6.5 on AMS. If answer is "No", customer wants to know, why it is not possible to access demographic or PII data?

I am in the process of uploading many assets from a variety of vendors to our AEM. I have noticed that any files with a description in the attached metadata end up having this description as their final title instead of the file name. Is there a reason the description is becoming the title? Is there a way to stop it short of removing the metadata from all of these files?

Hopefully a simple one ! In our metadata schema we've got a tags field, that allows users to look up the agreed list of tags.   but it also allows users to enter free format text into the field and  save it. I can't find any setting to only allows tags in the field to be chosen from the agreed metadata, and NOT allow free format text. Thanks

Hii have some json output with me in my java code and that i want to store in a json file in aem dam. Which api should i use ? Asset http api or asset manager api ? And please share code for that

Hello community of Brand Portal customers, I am interested to have a chat with anyone interested in sharing your experience in using Brand Portal in your organisations. I am in the initial phase of implementing BP and really interested to hear your experiences as a digital asset management side of things (and not a developer). If you are available for a chat give me a shout here or contact me via my email: fabiana.barticioti@ba.com and we can take from there. Thank you,Fabi

I'm trying to update metadata with user id through workflow, when I was run the workflow on the particular that asset metadata should be update with the user id.Write a workflow to save the name/id of the user on the metadata of the asset on which the workflow was run on in the field- "user id".I need java code for this.

Hi all, I'm using an AEM Assets sandbox. I created a content fragment and added it to a WKND site page. The page and the content fragment are both published. I'm looking for a list of site references associated with the content fragment, but my sidebar says there aren't any site references. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the sandbox and that the site references would show up in a regular instance. If not, where would I look to find a list of all pages that a specific content fragment is placed? Thank you!

We have developed a custom metadata schema in AEM Assets. I would like to share the AEM Assets schema with Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Bridge so that I can populate the defined schema in the asset properties and have those properties get auto updated when the asset is loaded to AEM Assets. We have some automated processes used to load assets into folders that are not manually maintained by any users. Getting the metadata created and loaded to an asset from the outset would support data standardizations. Some additional insight into this inquiry and potential product request. We have custom metadata schema fields created including "Product type" and "Customer type" fields. These are the custom fields that we would like to include on the native asset so that they are included in the full asset lifecycle. We are using the standard metadata fields like "Title" and "Description" to help support the asset understanding. Our automation is a passing of files from a product MDM tool to AEM

Hello,I am looking for some help on how to generate report for the Folder level permissions, Groups/Users and Group/User permissions.

Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible for users to not see any top level folders in Assets, if they only have access to folders at a lower level. It means every time they logon, or go to "home", they have to navigate down the top level folders to get to the lower level folder where there are assets they can see/edit. Is it an ACE permission entry for that user group ? Thanks. PS -can that be done for Brand Portal too?If you only publish to BP a folder say 2 levels down from the top in Assets, then can BP users only see that folder 2 levels down. And not start at the top and have to navigate down to it?

Wondering if anyone has come across this issue. I've followed all the steps in this link - which I find highly outdated and not useful to the 2023 experience. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-brand-portal/using/admin-tools/brand-portal-adding-users.html?lang=enI've created Group Profiles - they have synched to Brand Portal - but none of my NEW users have. Also when I create a Contribution folder - I'm not seeing the ability to add any of my users to the folder. To confirm in Adobe Assets CS interface this will allow me to add users that are Users or Groups listed in Admin Console Brand Portal?

I want to add eager loading to image of first slide and lazy loading to images of other slides in the following code. Is there a way to add it using HTL?Code is:<div class="owl-carousel owl-theme stage-slider-multi"><sly data-sly-test="${stages.stageSlideList}"><sly data-sly-list.stageListItems="${stages.stageSlideList}"><div class="stage-item" data-dot="<button class='stage-slider-progressbar'><div class='stage-slider-progressbar-animation'></div></button><button role='button' class='stage-slider-title'>${stageListItems.statusLineText}</button>"><div data-slideIndex="${stageListItemsList.index}" class="slideIndex"></div><sly data-sly-test="${stageListItems.stagePath}" data-sly-resource="${stageListItems.stagePath @wcmmode='disabled',selectors='content'}" /></div></sly></sly></div>${stageListItems.stagePath} contains single slides with images and texts.
