Hi , We have a requirement where we need to transfer/copy the content (Pages and Assets) from Production AEM as a cloud instance which is in a particular cloud program lets say p1  to Stage AEM as a cloud instance which is in another cloud program lets say p2. Content transfer tool provided OOTB by Adobe does not support this use case as both the instances are in different cloud programs. The volume of assets is quite high. Is there any best strategy/approach which can be used to tackle this use case , also any approach to make this process automated.  Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks,  

Hi  We are using replicator api to clear dispatcher cache programmatically on AEM as a Cloud service, Below are the lines used.  ReplicationOptions options = new ReplicationOptions(); options.setSynchronous(true); options.setFilter(agent -> agent.getId().equals("flush")); this.replicator.replicate(session, ReplicationActionType.DEACTIVATE, paths, options);  It is working as expected for publishers. But we are getting below exception for golden publishers.  Exception while clearing cache com.day.cq.replication.AgentNotFoundException: Replication triggered, but no agent found! May i know how we can restrict the code to execute only for publishers not golden publishers.

Hello Everyone, I tried to download: AEM Forms 6.5.21.0 Add-on for Windows from Adobe Software Distribution. It was trying to download. But failed after few minute. Tried to disable Anti-virus from browser, local system. Still, no luck.Same case, while downloading other large sized packages. Anyone has solution for this? Note: My internet speed is more than 100Mbps. Thanks 

Hi,There’s a workflow that executes on author but page is on publisher and the workflow hand off occurs via AEM forms from publisher to author for some PUT requests with error handling. With an error at any step of the workflow on author , how do I send the notification to publisher from author, to display to the user ? want to ensure I cautiously pass data between instances I believe sling event can help but not sure I should over engineer it

in a page I need to find after title first heading . there is any way to get the report and update first heading only for all the pages . i am trying to get the report in crx/de by using heading type. But i get all heading in the page.  Can anyone help me how to fix issue.

Hi, I'm extending the Table of contents core component, to include an heading tag which will be skipped by the component during render. So, I overlayed the html and added my changes to the html. When I paste the changes to crx/de in local the results are working as expected. But when I try to build using maven, getting the below error[ERROR] /Users/abc/projects/corp/ui.apps/target/generated-sources/htl/org/apache/sling/scripting/sightly/apps/corp/components/table__002d__of__002d__contents/table__002d__of__002d__contents__002e__html.java:[72,80] cannot find symbolsymbol: class TableOfContentslocation: package com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.modelsSince its an AEMaaCS, can i add the core dependency in pom.xml with provided scope?

Hi all, We install it locally using AEM SDK and create/customize/configure sites and deploy to AEM As A Cloud Service. 1.Is it possible to do these directly on AEM As A Cloud Service on the author, without local setup? 2.From local setup we deploy code using Cloud Manager.That code gets deployed to AEM As A Cloud Service author or publish or both in a single shot? Appreciate all your replies. Thanks,RK.

Hi all, I am watching a video on Translate an Adaptive Form: AEM at AEM: Introduction to Forms Designer (adobe.com) After the whole configuration, the final step for translation to German is to invoke form with a query parameter "DE". My query is that it being a machine translation, should work without we doing anything special, after we set it up. In real life, how it works? I need to pass a value from my Sling Model, for example shopId to my clientlib js associated with the AEM dialog. Following is my clientlib js for aem dialog.                    

We are trying to serve hidden content in AEM from logged in users using AEM. This is currently not our customer facing problem at the moment, I want to understand how the flow works. But, say we have some users (over 500,000k) users and the list keeps growing. We have 2 ideas to get this working as expected.Micro-Service.1. For new registers, we will have a form which will add a new user into the database based on the Micro-Service.2. The Micro-Service will deal with the authentication parts. The customer will attempt to login on the AEM website like Mcdonalds.com; the customer will fill in their username and password, and the hit enter. The micro-service will return a JSON Web Token, with their basic information and authentication token. Once we get a 200OK response from the server, we will make another call to an AEM servlet to authenticate into a common user of AEM. For example this is the "Basic" user. And from there, navigating through the AEM website, they should see Closed

I have an aem site built with v2 page component and adobe launch integrated. Authored image, teaser components on a page. Problem: body tag has "click" events associated by AppMeasurement.js (adobe launch , analytics ?)this in turn seems making all <img> elements to have "click" events and screen reader in firefox with nvda reading all images as "graphic clickable" Question: business says this is an issue as image does not have any linked hander to perform any action but screen reader says it as "graphic clickable". What is tried:1. I took out the script which injecting analytics, launch js and i do not see above issue.2. I tried taking out all data-cmp-datalayer attributes, other attributes in teaser.html, image.html but no success , click events got added by launch, analytics, app measurement scripts. Any help appreciated. Thanks,Sri

Hi All,Not all of our users have full privilege on production DAM content and users with read access to /content/dam folder are able to access smart crop button from assets.html pathBut when they try to use the smart crop from assetdetails page they are not able to see the smart crop button.From our analysis we found that the button is disabled in assetdetails page based on a privilege condition which looks for jcr access for the suffix path but not the case with assets.html .Any suggestions on how we can enable smartcrop option from assetdetails screen also without extending any additional edit/delete/create access to these users .

We have two to three jobconsumer in publish instance(AEM 6.3 SP1). After adding the job to particular topic(job manager.addJob), Job consumer consuming the same topic is running after 2 to 3 minutes. Same issue exists for other jobconsumers in publish instance. Publish instance is clustered one and using MongoDB(Leader and Non Leader).Verified that jobs are distributed on both instances and startup delay is set as 30 in Apache sling job manager.Is there are other configuration need to be changed to run the job atleast within 30 - 40 seconds ?Is there any way to debug this issue ?

Hello, If I schedule publication for asset A at path /content/dam/test/article-a, it creates the scheduled activation workflow as expected. Now let's assume it is scheduled to be published at 3 PM. Let's assume I missed one change while editing, so I made the change and marked it to be published at 3:05 PM, so it would trigger another workflow. Now because of the scheduled activation workflow, it would trigger publication at 3:00 PM for asset A and another publication at 3:05 PM for the same asset.  To avoid double publication, is there any easier way for the editors to see if there is any existing running workflow for the asset? Considering there are huge amount of editors and want to avoid too many technicalities for them.ORIs there any OOTB way to remove the old running workflow if the payload is the same? Or will I need to write a custom workflow step to check all running workflow and remove if the payload matches? Thanks!

Hi, We have created first POST type Servlet call in my current project, and getting 204-No content in response. In Publisher environment, it is throwing 200 as expected. But, as we used Akamai for cache management, in Akamai URL, it is throwing this error. We investigated further and found in Akamai URL, for all POST servlet calls, a Header Parameter named "Origin" got added with the value, domain name of the Akamai URL. Same issue we can replicate in POSTMAN also, when we are adding "Origin" with value - domain name of the Akamai URL in Header, it is throwing 204-No content. But if we remove that from Header in POSTMAN call, then only we are getting proper response. We tried but unable to discard that header parameter "Origin" at the time of POST servlet call. From publisher environment, this header parameter is not getting added. Is there any way to discard that parameter in POST Servlet call from Akamai URL ?I have added Akamai URL' domain in the value

When doing a site audit, a requirement from it was that we minify our JavaScript and CSS files.  We are on AEM cloud, what is the recommended way to accomplish this.  

I would like to do POC to setup AEM 6.5 with Composite Node Store.  How can I figure out the customizations to support composite Node store setup to do deployments? Can anyone point me to the documentation?
