Adobe Experience Manager

My client is looking to sync content between AEM environments and there's this requirement to preserve the versions upon syncing. For eg, if syncing from PROD to DEV, it should include all pages along with versions of the page. I have tried content copy tool, but it doesn't seem to copy the versions and additionally the syncing works only from higher to lower environments.Using package manager is another option, I believe. While it seems feasible to include page versions during the package creation, it could significantly increase the package size and there's also a possibility of system overload.The client is on AEM 6.5.16. What would be a practical solution here?

To ensure comprehensive security for AEM users, DUO two-factor authentication has been enabled. However, is it possible to exempt a specific subset of test accounts from this requirement? If such an adjustment is feasible, please provide the necessary instructions to implement this change.

Hi, We are migrating from AEM 6.5.17 to Adobe Cloud Services. Hi ,I was having issues in ACS Commons getting added to the project via POM. It is not getting updated during deployment. But when I delete already existing one , it is getting updated in package and bundle.Only acs-commons-all package is getting updated, respective bundle and content package for acs-commons-content is not getting updated resulting in ACS commons is not getting displayed in granite view.Does anyone else face this issue ? Hi all, My organization is considering implementing Asset Share Commons. We want to implement a feature like the Cascading Metadata feature in AEM, where there is dependency between metadata fields and/or their values. I know this isn't an OOTB feature and we're planning on implementing some customization to do this. Has anyone done this? If so, is it preferred to create dependencies between metadata fields, or field values? Thank you,Morgan

I see loads of advantages of going for EDS , especially in case of SPA. But, if there is a need to download/make the page accessible when offline, I notice css is getting applied, but JS errors are encountered. Export issues and cors issues are present. Appreciate any suggestions / alternate approaches for this.

Hello Community Team,Since long time we were using SonarQube for Code Quality check and coverage for our AEM projects. But recent versions of SonarQube (v17 and above) have upgraded to provide support for Java 17+ and it is not backward compatible.Since, AEM 6.5 is compatible with Java 11 only does not support the latest versions of Java, is there any way in which we can integrate with SonarQube latest versions.If there are no workaround for this problem, please suggest if there are any better alternatives to SonarQube. FYI: We are using AEM 6.5 OnPrem version and we tried downgrading SonarQube, but we are always forced to move to latest version of Sonar.

Hi Team,Is it possible to create Page/Template base on SPA Editor but the Header and Footer experience fragment should be rendered from server side, only the body/main section should be dynamically rendered using react.In our project we already have Header and Footer experience fragments which are normal AEM server-side rendered components.We now a requirement to create new Page/Template with SPA capabilities. We want to use the SPA Editor for same, but want to use the existing Project Header and Footer.It seems in SPA editor based page/template, server-side rendered cannot be authored.Can someone let me know if it is possible to have SPA Editor capability in Page where Header and Footer are rendered from server side.

We have create some custom dita topics and maps, these custom custom topics use custom xml tags too. We have created custom dtds and everything is working as expected but the topics and maps are missing the icons.How do we configure this?

The References tab in asset properties page has empty local references. No idea as no proper logs are available. With AEM 6.5.9 it is populated properly the page path where the asset is used.

How to add favicon in AEM 6.5?

Hi   I am not a techy but I have an exam and need to log into Adobe Credential manager but however i try to log in I get this message  HTTP ERROR 503 Problem accessing /content/adls/en/api.alpine_sso.json. Reason: AuthenticationSupport service missing. Cannot authenticate request.   Its the same on any PC, Laptop, Phone, browser and internet connection, so its not related to my hardware.   I have the exam in a week and am beginning to panic.   Who should I ask to help me as no one from Adobe seems to know 😞    Thanks for anything you can suggest

Hi, We are facing an issue related to the adaptive form theme editor. Our stage and dev env is on 6.5.19.0 and adaptive form package is 6.0.1120 in stage and 6.0.718 in dev. When I go to the theme editor in stage, i'm seeing error in console from this file /etc/clientlibs/fd/af/themeAuthoring.min.js. Our dev env is running older version of adaptive form and it doesn't have any issue.  In dev themeAuthoring.min.js file is being called from /libs folder but in stage it's being called from /etc and /libs folder. The /etc file has code that's making ajax call to path that doesn't exist. In my browser local I have removed the script that's calling /etc/clientlibs/fd/af/themeAuthoring.min.js and editor is working fine.  Here in this image, as you can see same file being called twice from libs and etc folder. in dev it's only being called from libs.  Has anyone else seen similar issue after moving to adaptive form to 6.0.1120?

I have created oak index. By creating it following query working fine in query builder path=/content/datatype=nt:unstructuredfulltext=test But it is getting text from all nodes like /content/data/stores, /content/data/offers, /content/data/promotions. I want to exclude this node /content/data/stores. How can I achieve this ? Hi,  I'm trying to build a table component from scratch as the existing OOTB table is deprecated for  AEM 6.5. I wanted to include a component inside a table cell and should be able to edit it. Adobe has documentation about how we would use Pipeline secrets and ENV variables to use a Private Maven Repository.Is there something similar for the FrontEnd Sites projects and NPM??e.g, if in my package.json I had this.."dependencies": {"my-private-repo": "git+https://${GITHUB_PAT_KEY}@github.com/My-Organization/Private-REPO.git"}I have been sandboxing this, and found that: Simply having GITHUB_PAT_KEY as a Pipeline secret does not work, as NPM is not picking up on the ENV variable.We cannot have exposed PAT keys in the codebase, and so the PAT must always be an ENV secret somewhere.I have tried using a npm preinstall which would insert the PAT key from process.env, but the pipeline is not able to run npm preinstall.Using git submodules or similar may have problems due to the predefined npm commands that the pipeline is using..In short, how do we use a private repo as a dependancy for our Sites theme where it would build using the pipeline?
