I want pass list index value to sling model.<sly data-sly-list.img="${guide.itemsList}"><span>index:  ${imgList.index}</span><sly data-sly-use.multi="${'com.mycom.....MultiField' @ index=${imgList.index}' " />This gives me null value at model. I tried to with pass with quotes , it gets passed as string. Can any one help me to resolve this?   

Hi All, I have a use case where 3rd party system(webhook) make a POST call to AEM author and post it’s payload.In this case, I need to expose an endpoint(servlet) from AEM author.To do so, I did virtualise that endpoint through APIGW, whitelisted 3rd party system IP and shared my endpoint with 3rd party system.Here the issue comes is, the requests from 3rd party is not accepted by AEM because of its authentication, to address this I’m passing ‘basic authentication header’ or ‘alias’ from APIGW to AEM Author.But, one my leads mentioned that this is not right approach. @aanchalsikka , @shashi_mulugu , @veena_vikraman  Can anyone suggest better way? Thanks,Raju.

Where PDFs will be printed there is a requirement to generate output PDFs with a page count which is a multiple of 4. Is there a way to count and add pages, if required? I know we can run a JavaScript script post pagination  - does this give us access to the page information which would allow us to expand the number of pages, if required?  

Hi. I have added new Apache Sling Queue (to Apache Sling Job Queue Configuration), with three topics (workflows). I have configured maximum parallel jobs to 1, and now I would like to check if this configuration works. I would like to assign small ammount of server resources for those workflows, because they run for about ~20 minutes and CQ slows down when workflows are fired, I set priority to min. Queue type is parallel (I'm thinking if changing type to ordered would be better ? I assume that workflows will be fired one by one, never two in the same time, but I expect the same result with queue type set to parallel and maximum parallel jobs set to 1).So how can I check if workflows fire one by one ?

Hello - Is anyone else having issues with the OOTB tag merge/move function in AEM?When we merge/move a tag, it will merge, but it will not stay in the asset properties after we add the new tag to an asset via the tag field. This is happening in dev and prod. (Access isn't part of the issue.)

My 2 appendices are <topicref>'s in backmatter. <backmatter>     <topicref href="A.dita" type="topic"></topicref>     <topicref href="B.dita" type="topic"></topicref></backmatter> Appendix A      I want the page numbering to show in the footer "A-1, A-2, A-3..." for appendix AAppendix B      and "B-1, B-2, B-3..." for Appendix B. I have page numbers working fine but cannot seem to find a way to add the A or the B as a prefix.Secondly, I will need to restart the page numbering in Appendix B. How to accomplish this?

I searched for the term "contrary" in reference implementation in the search bar and only got a PDF. I was expecting both PDF and Word doc to show as search results as both had the same text and content. I am not sure if ASC supports search based on text/contents within the document. I am using an AEM Cloud instance and have completed all the necessary dispatcher configurations. Now, I want to verify if the dispatcher is caching AEM content. In an on-prem setup, we typically check the doc root to confirm if the content and JS files are cached. How can I validate this in AEM Cloud? Is there a specific header that indicates the content is served from the dispatcher cache?

All, One of the business segment uses markdown to author content in content fragment instead of plain text. We would like to translate the content. What are the recommend option do we have to translate markdown content authored as part of CF's. 

I have scheduled exam for AD0-E717 Adobe Commerce Developer with Cloud Add-on Professional certification exam, I also joined before 15 mins of scheduled time & During the initial connection with the proctor, I was advised to download the GoToMeeting software instead of using the browser, as there was a delay on the proctor’s end. While I was in the process of downloading the software, proctor was sharing the session ID and the browser call was unexpectedly disconnected in the middle of that conversation. Subsequently, I received an email notification indicating that I was disconnected from the exam session.The email provided instructions to reconnect; however, when I attempted to access the provided link, I was prompted for a session ID, which I did not receive due to the disconnection. & now exam status is showing “Approved by Auditor”. They asked to reschedule the exam without taking exam. Please need help in this situation. I also mailed to certif@adobe.com & waiting for

We have site content authored in documents and now want to move it into the Universal Editor. Is there a way to migrate this content effectively?

We are in AEMaaS. My team will be developing a new project and is considering using out of the box teaser component to potentially create 2 other components that would leverage that code (they would have the same dialog as the teaser component except limited style options specific to that use case) and these additional components would be renamed to showcase how it would be used, for example: ‘card component’ or ‘hero banner component.’  The thought is that this would be easier for an author to understand what type of component it is, but also from a UI development perspective. It would be easier to modify a component that has less options associated with it. My questions:if we go that route, would future AEM upgrades that affect the teaser component be reflected in these additional components that leverage the same code?Has anyone done something similar and ran into issues?   Any insights and shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!Thanks

I have a requirement to know after an asset is replicated whether it was replicated to the preview instance or the publish instance. Anyone has any idea how can I get this inside the Event handler?The code below was implemented for another purpose. I have a requirement to extend the functionality of the Quick Publish button. Currently, when a user clicks it, the page and its references are published, and a version of the page is created.I want to customize this functionality so that after the version is created, an email is sent to specific people in a particular user group.Additionally, this new functionality should apply only to a few selected user groups.I am considering two options and would appreciate any guidance:Is there a way to extend the functionality of the existing Quick Publish button to achieve this?Alternatively, can I create a new button and implement the complete functionality from scratch, applying it only to the selected user groups?@arunpatidar

Hi All,   I have upload a video file in content/dam/video folder in author and when i am opening that folder that folder is opening successfully and getting all video thumbnail for that file but when i am publishing this video file in publisher then in publisher this folder is not opening and thumbnail is also not coming. i am getting error line " Fail to load data." .   Note:- For all image type it opening the folder and thumbnail is also coming properly in both author and publisher but when we are publishing any video type file( after running "Dynamic Media Encode Video"  workflow) like mp4, mov... etc then this issue is coming. TeamWe are redesigning our site. Both old and new site will be on AEM 6.5. Only the UX/UI will change. I want to know is there a way to automate the process programmatically migrate the content?Site is a headless e-commerce platform containing many product details page numbering to close 140+.All the product information, images etc. are manually authored in AEM.  I understand following steps functionally1. Content Inventorying of current e-comm site with all the product information. 2. Do a mapping exercise of current template or form fields to new forms field.  I am keeping it at a very high-level. But is there a standard process to achieve this with minimum manual effort? Our US team is really lean and no one has time to sit and manually copy paste content.
