Hi All, I created one project using archetype 26 long back. Now I want to migrate the same project to latest archetype. What are the things we need to consider during archetype migration and how to do it ? Can someone help us on this ? Cheers 🙂

I are using CQ 5.6, for an instance which consists of: 1 author, 2 publishers, 2 dispatchers.   I would like to know what is the best sequence to stop and start the author/publisher/dispatcher?   Is that first stop author, follow by stop publishers, and last dispatches?  And for the start sequence is in the opposite order (dispatcher > publish > author)?   Or doesn't matter for the ordering?   Best Regards, Daniel

hello experts,   Using following command I am trying to build the AEM Forms On-Prem project:   mvn -B archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=com.adobe.aem -DarchetypeArtifactId=aem-project-archetype -DarchetypeVersion=35 -DaemVersion="6.5.12" -DappTitle="AEMFormsDev" -DappId="AEMFormsDev" -DgroupId="com.AEMFormsDev" -DincludeFormsenrollment="y" -DincludeFormscommunications="y" -DincludeDispatcherConfig="y"   Question is: - if we include -DincludeDispatcherConfig="y" build fails for which there is workaround on Windows machine as per https://github.com/adobe/aem-project-archetype - however question is - why does it also creates : dispatcher.cloud folder structure? ours is On-Prem AEM Forms 6.5 setup with inhouse Apache server so how can we exclude dispatcher.cloud setup.   Please share your feedback and let me know how to exclude dispatcher.cloud? from options.       

Hello Everyone,  Is there any documentation on how to use design tokens in AEM. I have huge json file that have all branding as design tokens.  how to convert them into .scss file with variables.  out of AEM, Design tokens that are in json file an be converted into .scss or .less variables. but cant seem to find how to do the same in AEM front end module. I have a basic question about the copy/paste function in AEM   In Assets I have a folder that contains over 1000 subfolders. These are numbered consecutively. Now I want to copy a template folder into one of the subfolders. Do I really only have one possibility to find the right subfolder by scrolling?If I try to get to the right folder via the URL, the paste button disappears. Is there another way to get to the right folder quickly without losing the paste function?   Thank you for the support

Hi, JS minify is not happening in AEM 6.5.2 instance for our project. I tried with gcc (min:gcc;languageIn=ECMASCRIPT6) with Adobe Granite HTML Library Manager and also tried with default minify (min:yui). Both seems not working. Thanks in Advance.

When I try to create my own metadata schema from the default metadata schema form, I get the following error message       I checked the crxde for the same and I dont see default metadata scheme form. I thought it could be related to permission but I have full admin rights.      Can anyone tell me what could be the issue?    

Hi All, Actually I have two containers, I placed the containers next to each other and add components inside them, but after test release  the containers moved under each other, i am not able to move them back(next to each other). I have a requirement to keep them next to each other. Is there any way to do that. Kindly help me to fix this.

Hi,    I am wondering where the Smart Crop data is stored for an asset when image profiles are applied to a folder, and the image is utilizing the smart cropping.    This data seems to be stored within scene7, but I cannot find the values anywhere within the Dynamic Media Classic app when logged in. Are these hidden stored values, or are they viewable within the app somewhere?

Hi,   I want to programatically create package & translate the path in created package. For example '/content/dam/abc/hero.png' needs to be '/content/dam/bcd/hero.png'. Is it possible to do this using Jcrpackage manager api with filter/translate options? Trying to create project structure for AEM SPA React and the build was success, but faced issues while  creating REACT API calls using useEffect in ui.frontend while building it is throwing error like eslint-react-hooks not unable to find package. We used archetype 35.  Any suggestions we can overcome this issue ? Will it be due to use of unstable archetype ?

Is there any way to disable these smart tag in aem as a cloud service?  

Recently I created a program in AEMaaCS. I understand that when we create an environment in cloud manager, Adobe Console creates two profiles, AEM Administrator xx123xx123 & AEM Users xx123xx123, and in publish instance it only creates one profile, AEM Users xx123xx123. As of now, I have no doubts.   Now when I add a profile to any user, for example personX and add him AEM Administrator xx123xx123 & AEM Users profiles in author and AEM Users xx123xx123 profile for publish server. When this user personX logged into the system I could see that the profiles are mapped as AEM groups. As of now, everything is clear. I did not see any ACLs created for AEMAdministrator xx123xx123 & AEM Users when I checked the permissions for these groups in AEM. Is this OOTB behavior? How does this group act as admin without permission? below is the screenshot for AEMAdministrator     Do we need to set any permission to make this as an admin group ?

Hi,If vtt file is published from Author, then the Scene7 Cache is not cleared by default.The final website URL is rendering video and vtt files from Scene7 but the file does not seem to be updated once the asset is republished or replaced.Do we need clear the Scene7 cache programmatically here?Thanks,Sagar

Hello - We are in the processing of enabling esi:include (Edge Side Include) on Akamai. We have added a Behavior for this rule in Akamai but still the tags are not evaluated in CDN. We are trying to implement the SDI in our project and decided to go with ESI to exclude the component from the caching. Can someone tell me what other changes are required in Akamai for this scenario. 

hi,   we created two publishing instances, on Authoring we configured two publish agents for each instance, test connection works fine for both agents. Problem is that only first publish agent triggers and syndicates to publishing instance. Second publish agent is enabled connection works but no activity there. We don't see any errors, enabled syndication debugging on Author but there's no errors. When we stop first publishing instance we see replication queue piling up on first publish agent but still nothing on second publish agent.
