what would be best to includes when we are creating a segment hit / visit / visitor and also what is the best metrics to see the interactions on site ( occurrences / visits , unique visitor )

@jennifer_dunganIn response to your last post on how to do exclusions based on visit-level exclusions, I wanted to follow up with you on we can implement correctly the definition of visit_id.  Based on what I read somewhere on Adobe pages, I found the following definition. Visit_id = Concatenate PostVisidHigh, PostVisidLow, VisitNumber, and VisitStartTimeGmtI wonder if it's correct. Somehow our measures created for # of visits, which is counting visit ids, is dramatically greater than what I see in Adobe Analytics for the same time frame.   

Hey, we have a use case where, the development team is appending certain values to the request header and i was wondering if there is a way to capture the value and set it in an eVar or Prop value. Either by processing rules or vista rules.  

Hello,Our client is wondering if it is possible to make a snapshot/backup of the configuration within Adobe Analytics overall. Let's say, for example, they change something in the configuration of a report suite. They would like to know if it's possible to revert to a previous state of the configuration.If it is not possible for the moment, is there any way to raise this as a suggestion for a new feature in future?Thank you!

Hi,I'm trying to set up a data feed directly to S3 (in us-east-1). The access keys and S3 prefixes are right, however, the job would fail with "Failed: Unknown Cause".I couldn't get any reference that details the format of configurations with example. Details of the data feed:bucket:  dev****bucket   (not sure if this format is correct or should it be s3://...)path: adobe/rsidname  (not sure if there needs to be a / in the end)compression: gzippackaging type: multiple filesfeed interval: hourly Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance.

Hello,I'm using the getPercentPageViewed plugin from the extension Common Analytics Plugins.The issue I'm encountering is related to the s_ppv cookie.I am utilizing the plugin to capture information from s._ppvPreviousPage and s._ppvHighestPercentViewed, their values are used in a rule that is triggering correctly, there are no errors in the console. The Adobe Data Collection tags were inserted into Magento, and two sites are using it. The s_ppv cookie is set only on one of them, even though both sites use the same property from data collection. Has anyone experienced something similar using this plugin?Thank you!

Hello everyone,We are currently facing an issue with our implementation of Adobe Analytics APIs for making server-side calls. We have followed the POST method for this implementation and are passing both OOTB (Out of the Box) values and custom values such as evars and props.While we are able to successfully retrieve OOTB values like page name and others, we are encountering difficulties with evars and props as they remain unspecified.Has anyone else encountered a similar issue during their implementation? Hi, We're planning to A/B test a new journey (from point A to B) and I wanted to know if there was a way that I could split out the difference in the number of pages viewed for the new experience vs control experiences and then turn those in to an average.For example, we're hoping our new journey will be much more streamlined and although customers may be able to complete the current journey, I want to try and show that we've made it easier in terms of customers viewing less pages to reach the journey end goal and or it's taken a lot less time. How would I be best to do this in Analytics. Thanks

HiI have created one Journey on AJO and would like to see the final conversion of customers (placing orders) on the website in CJA.I have tried using journey name as filter and then no of orders coming from website.Also both AJO datasets and web events has same identifier in CJA.But still the data is not coming on CJACan someone help here?

Hello, I am trying to pull data using adobe analytics api tool in alteryx. I am able to authenticate using JWT method in alteryx, however, when i am running the workflow i am getting error "Error transferring data: Failure when receiving data from the peer". 

Is anyone having the similar issue with submission of their presentations?Apparently both the calendar and message said the deadline is 11:59pm PST but it says 10:59pm PST on the portal. I tried submitting around 11:20pm PST but couldn't submit. Does anyone know how to solve this, or do you have their contact information? Thanks a lot 🙂

Hi there, Inn adobe analytics there is the chance to see "average time spent on site" or "time spent on page" but not "average time spent on page".In a tool I am implementing i can magically retrieve from adobe  "AVERAGE TIME SPENT ON PAGE" and not "AVERAGE TIME SPENT ON SITE". My Question:i am interested into understanding what is the difference between "AVERAGE TIME SPENT ON PAGE" and "AVERAGE TIME SPENT ON SITE" as no explanation is available for "AVERAGE TIME SPENT ON PAGE". Thanks you!

hi everyone, i have a question on why my report suite still capturing previous Adobe Launch Build Date even if I have set my date today, example is February 27.  i have a more latest build date which is February 26, and wonder why the February 5 build date is still captured resulting to the unspecified value which I already fixed.  thank you

Hi community, I have a segment (at the hit level) that contains 3 URLs. When I breakdown the segment with the URL dimension the visits to each individual URL is higher than the total (EX: below it's 30+9+5 = 40). When I remove the URL with 5 visits, the total drops 36 (now reading like 30+9=36). I understand there are nuances with visit-level metrics that can sometimes get muddled when used against segments, but I can't seem to find an answer as to why this happens? What's going on and how can I articulate it to other stakeholders?

Appreciate the help.I'd like to build a segment that finds visits where: (1) a link was NOT clicked and (2) there was a page view to 1 of 2 pages. So far I've created a segment that looks like the below, but its not returning any results. I know there should be results included. Main Container: Visit> Sub Container: Visit > link tracking 'does not contain' link nameAND> Sub Container: Visit > Page Name 'equals' Page Name 1 OR Page Name 'equals' Page Name 2 Has anyone ran into this before?  Hi All, Is it possible to display two different color bars (red and green) based on the percent change value? The bar should be red if the percent change is negative WoW and green if the percent change is positive WoW. Is it possible to use the 'edit user by csv' to update a username/email for a user (name change) and they will still have access to all their saved Workspaces since their "ID" won't be changing? I need to do this for about 100 users, so does not seem prudent to get into the API documentation and figure out how to do it via API.

Hi all,I have a task from the Performance Marketing team to evaluate which role Meta campaigns are playing in a user journey. We have already looked through the attribution models and made a few conclusions. However, now they want to know if Meta is receiving the conversion according to the last touch model, and which channel (source) was the one before the last (before Meta). I am trying to use a flow visualization to solve this. Specifically: Visitor container, Ends with: Source.On the top, I also added a segment that includes Visitors who had a Visit with (source Meta and Order exists).By applying this segment, do I ensure that the last touch point was Meta (and that is when the conversion happened)? Because the numbers I see do not look correct. Is there another way to analyze a user journey before conversion in Workspace? Thank you in advance,Kateryna  

Hi everybodywe connected our AA with funnel.io. We need to see our ACS data there.So on funnel.io we selected our adobecampaign report suite, however the default metrics are not showing there, only the dimensions and custom metrics are. We need to see te adobe campaign sent, open, etc metrics on funnel (adobe analytics metrics below)Any idea how to fix that? Are we missing something here?

Hi,In a panel there is a possibility to create dropdown list with drag and drop + SHIFT: It’s working as expected but I want to have in my drop down all possibilities that can be contained in the dimension Search Term.I know it’s possible by adding them one by one: If I drop the dimension, the filter is only about this dimensions exists: But in my case I want to make it dynamic, meaning, I want to have all possible values that can be contained in this dimension: if a new value is present, it’s automatically added in the dropdown.How can I do that? Thanks Robin

when adobe target activity experience is broken down with page URL Dimensions, i can see multiple url and pages which is not part of that activity experiences.do we have an answer on this a why the url and pages which is not related to the activity gets data on the dashboards
