Hello Everyone -  I'm working on POC for FPID implementation and had few questions with respect to documentation - I understand the FPID will not work with third-party party cookies (Used for cross-site visitor identification) but my query is is it possible to implement FPID without CNAME (first-party-cookies) implementation?Technically, Want to check if FPID works with first-party (AMCV / kndctr_) WebSDK cookies set via edge.adobedc.net or they need to be set via host CNAME only? We understand the CNAME is recommended approach also enables overcome browser restrictions with respect to FP cookies but for this POC we need to cross-check FPID working process.  

I would like to create a connection between our company's Dynatrace account and feed the data to Adobe Analytics.The link below appears to indicate that a connection can be made between Dynatrace and AEM. Hello folks,  Happy Friday! I saw something that made me scratch my head that I wanted to share here.  I created a hit-based segment that was "equals any of" 3 different URL'sI applied that segment to a table, and dropped the URL dimension and could see my expected URL's, their visit numbers, and the total for the table.  I then dragged those same exact URL's and place them into a new table to see what the totals are.  The totals are different.  Why would that be the case?  See example below.   

Hi all, I am trying to create a publish a segment to the experience cloud, so that it can be used from Target.This segment should be based upon a traffic variable / prop. Now, when I create it, the segment builder tells me that it is incompatible. Any idea what's wrong or I am not seeing? Thx!

Hi All,I have written a Processing Rule to copy an evar "X" to evar "Y" . When I look at the data on workspace , I see historical data. Have trended the sum total value and the graph trend shows historical data as well. When we copy a value using processing rule , do we even see past data on the new evar as well?

Hi,At the moment there are only 3 real time reports which can be configured. There is no provision to customize the UI of the reports. We are mainly interested in the number of users on the page which is quite small to view and the graph and other dimensions take up a lot of the space. Our requirement is to project the real time reports on a big screen for the operations team to view real time changes. Being able to customize the UI and create real time reports dashboards will be a great addition to existing functionality.

I have implemented getNewRepeat plugin, however, it is showing a lot of 'unspecified' values. When I check in the debugger I do see visits as 'New' or 'Repeat' what can be the reason for 'unspecified' values? I tried to debug also but do not see any pattern with particular pages for the same pages I see New and Repeat values.

In CJA, I'm trying to replicate a report a client has in another Analytics tool.  I'd like to be able to turn off total deduplication for certain freeform tables.  I thought there was a setting to do that, but I can't seem to find it.  I know when you only display certain rows, remove a row, etc. deduplication is then disabled.  But I'd like to be able to set it so the client doesn't have to make any changes in the future.   Here's an example: Left is deduplicated, right is not.  They want to see the value in the right - basically counting every site section as a separate visit.  (Metric is different, just using this as a hypothetical example)  

Hi everyone, I have been capturing unique IDs for campaigns that drive traffic to the site in an eVar. Obviously, these IDs don't provide much information about the campaigns. I have a mapping file that provides the campaign information mapped to the IDs in a key-value format, with the unique ID being the key. Is there a way to manually import the values into another eVar, or even better, is there a way to automate this process? Thanks,Suchindra

I am trying to combine activity map page instance and page name visit in the same freeform table. I have created a calculated metric (% click-through rate) that captures activity map link instances and page visits. Now I'd like to show in a freeform table, page name, visits, and % CTR.Wondering if anyone has tried and managed to get this working in Adobe Analytics Workspace. Thanks

For the listed destination types under "Legacy", does it make sense to use these in 2024? Are they to be deprecated as a Data Feeds destination?  

Hi champs,one of my clients is experiencing a high load of automatic traffic on their non-prod environment / report suite which we cannot put a finger on it where it is coming from. i.e., it is seemingly not coming from the standard page tracking and does not have any props/evars set. Not sure whether this is even being sent through our WebSDK at all. The "Browser" dimension is set to "None" which I assume is coming from Adobe Analytics?  The only indicator we see on this traffic is a pageName/Page that is set to "Other".  Now the question: any ideas how to abort/block this traffic before it hits the report suite?WebSDK: to be checked, I will see if I can just for fun add a abort condition in the "on before event send" callback. Yet again, I am not even sure whether this traffic is coming through the website at all.Bot rules: would it work to just block "None" or is this value set after the Bot rules are applied?Processing Rules: is there any way to ABORT/drop

This cartID remains same until the user makes a purchase. When the first product is added to cart then scOpen triggers, with consecutive product addition we do not trigger scOpenA user if empties the cart and re-adds the product to cart then again on first product addition we trigger scOpen.Now we want scOpen to be unique per cart. Shall we set "Unique Event Recording" column set to "Use Event Id", and pass some unique ID (we will derive that from cartId) and pass it to scOpen evertyime when a product is added to cart. Will it  ensure Adobe Analytics only record the event if it has never seen the associated event ID before ? All subsequent times Analytics sees that event ID, it will not increase the event counter.  ?

I am facing this issue of my purchase event getting triggered at incorrectly pageURLs Example when the user comes to my cart my url is : www.abc.com/checkout?..&step=1when the user fill the payment details my url is www.abc.com/checkout?..&step=2when the user completes the checkout my url is  www.abc.com/checkout?..&step=4I am seeing majority of my purchase calls getting trigerred at  www.abc.com/checkout?..&step=2 . I have checked with the backend team the custome event dispacthing looks solid. are there any precautions that should be taken while configuring the custom event? - below is the attached screenshot. Hi all,  I am trying to create a following fallout report: all steps are only available in Login EnvironmentAll numbers are in approx Fallout A Step 1 - Product Category Page - 5000 visitors Step 2 - Product Detail page - 2500 visitors  Fallout B Step 1 - landing page after login- 10000 visitors Step 2 - Product Category Page - 50 visitors Step 3 - Product Detail page - 10 visitors Why would there be a such a large difference in Product Page Visitors provided that user has to login anyhow to view product pages. They are already a subset of visitors who have logged in

If I measure our homepage visitors by activity map vs. page, why do I get 2 vastly different results? Does activity map only fire in a call under certain conditions?

I have been asked to track the pages in an InDesign flip book using Analytics. I asked both Analytics and InDesign customer care if they have integrated the two products this way before.  Neither have.  Although InDesign said that they've made suggestions for Google Analytics.  That alludes to there is a good chance it will work.   If it is as simple as adding a manual tag in for each page that's great, but there's no documentation with regard to it.  

Hi,We are using 'getNewRepeat' plugin to see data on visitors loyalty. Since I believe this is a page-load rule, we are seeing a lot of unspecified values for our variable configured. Does any body have an idea, why the unspecified values are being passed and how to rectify it?Thanks in advance!

Hi,I am trying my hands on Web SDK, I tried using the XDM object data element, and its successful for me.But when I try to use variable data element using both xdm object or data object, both ways tried, I do not see any calls in the debugger.I will explain the one approach I am using, probably the same issue exists on the second one.1. What I am doing is, setting the data element variable and then selecting the data object.2. Then in the rule, I am setting the update variable action and mapping variable there.3. Then I set the second action that sends the event, in that I am using event type "Web Webpagedetails Page Views" and setting data, I tried setting both xdm and data, only xdm and only data, but nothing is working. Please help me find what I am setting wrong.Any help is appreciated.

Hi is there a way to update segments in bulk using segment API, apparently the update segment API has a required id parameter but it only support single id at a time.
