Adobe Analytics

Does anyone know what the number in the upper left corner is supposed to represent?I believe at some point, there was the option to hide the "all visits" | "all visitors" number that displays in the upper left corner.https://www.bounteous.com/insights/2019/10/17/using-and-interpreting-adobe-analytics-fallout-visualization ^^^ blog post that I found that has the "hide" option within the settings of the Fallout tile.By default, when first creating a Fallout, either "All visits" | "All visitors" pre populates as the first step..... I was under the impression that this Fallout analysis feature is to build a journey that a user takes that i defined within this funnel.... why would there be two different totals that display when one is not applicable to the funnel that I define? Also - when i've duplicated panels that has a Fallout/Funnel - it copies over the same total of "all visits" used in the previous/old panel...... 

Hi, I was wondering why Visitors, Visits, and Page Views are different when you use the same dimension and just change the scope to Visitor, Visit, or Hit? I'm having trouble understanding why they change? Can someone illustrate an example? I believe @jennifer_dungan did this yesterday, 8/7/24, in the "Adobe Experience Makers The Skill Exchange for Adobe Analytics - Grow Path" session for segments. I have an example here to illustrate. I am writing down scenarios, but I don't understand when visitors would still be included on both the visitor scope and hit scope for the dimension? Here is my example:   Thanks!

Hi AllI have a quick question regarding a specific use case with a client. The client has their Adobe Analytics (AA) instance under one Org ID (ABC@AdobeOrg) and their Adobe Campaign (AC) instance under a different Org ID (XYZ@AdobeOrg). The client operates globally with support from vendors across multiple countries, including Japan, Singapore, India, Australia, the UK, and the US. Consequently, different regions use different martech tools: Australian marketers use AC along with several other tools, while other locations primarily use Salesforce.The use case involves integrating AC with AA, despite them being on different Org IDs. We have already explored this with Adobe support via a ticket, but the request to align these two instances was denied, even though documentation suggests it is possible. I understand the challenges associated with aligning these two instances as they have already in action for 4 or more years. But we do need analytics to track campaign events etc. from AC.

So I have a landing page which users can arrive on through a variety of different marketing campaigns in place. I have created separate segments for each of these campaigns, which are tracked by SCIDs.  Typically, the total traffic from each of these channels falls short of the total traffic to the landing page, and the difference I attribute to 'organic visitors' who may have typed in the URL, or saved it in their bookmarks etc. However, recently I have noticed that total traffic to the landing page is somehow lower than the aggregated traffic from each marketing campaign, and I have no idea why. For some additional info, my Landing Page 1 segment is defined at a hit level using page url, whereas the marketing channel segments are defined at the visit level, or visit with a 'hit' container. It's been a while since I made these segments, so I may have to review again why I made some of the segments at a visit level and some at a visit level with a hit container.&nbs

Hello All, What we are seeing our overall ECID coverage is close to 40%. Meaning if unique visitors are 100 only 40 them are assigned ECID value. We do have one Trust but even for United States which is default Opt-in coverage is 40%. What could be the reason? For different website the number is different for one it is 50% but for other site it is just 10%. Both the sites are using the same Launch Property.  Please help.

What does 99.9% threshold mean?  Is it 99.9% of a standard deviation and above?  I'm using the 99.9% as an example. There are other thresholds

Hi folks!  I am writing because this is the first time I have seen this behaviour in one of my applications. I am using the Page variable as it comes straight from Adobe to track most visited pages and page views on each.  After speaking with some users about a particular page where I was not seeing many views, I found out that this Dimension is not tracking all URLs users are visiting. I know the easiest solution would be to create an evar with a custom Page Name, but don't have the resources for doing so momentarily. Is there any other alternative I could use for this? Thanks a lot! 

H All, Is there a reason there are no instances or occurrences for a Prop? Also, in addition to this question, is there ever a time when you only want to have a prop but no evar, an evar but no prop, or both a prop and an evar for the same thing (an example of this could be p1 and evar1 both = "Page name". Thanks!

Hi All, I have an eVar that visibly shows up in the debugger on the landing page from a paid ad. That eVar is set to persist until the end of the visit. I currently have a segment that looks at all hits for a specific tracking code in the eVar. Is the hit segment capturing all hits that persist after my landing page hit, even if the value is persisting and not visibly showing up in a debugger because it "persists" until the end of the visit in the backend? Thanks!

Hi All, I'm trying to understand when you would ever use a prop? It sounds like eVars can just be set on everything (page and link calls). I don't see the point where I would ever need to use a prop in analysis... Thanks!

Hi All, I'm curious when I should be including props and/or eVars into link tracking. My understanding is an eVar can do everything a prop cannot and a prop cannot do everything an eVar can. Should I always be looking at and using just eVars in both page tracking and link tracking?  Thanks!

Can someone help me understand what/which users I'm suppose to get out when using the /users endpoint?Description says: Retrieves a list of all users for the company designated by the auth token.https://developer.adobe.com/analytics-apis/docs/2.0/apis/ Reason for asking is that I'm not getting all users for the company. If I'm using the user management api it is returning way more users than the /users endpoint.https://adobe-apiplatform.github.io/umapi-documentation/en/api/getUsersWithPage.html/users are returning 46, but usermanagement/users is returning 82. Is /users only returning users who have access to Adobe Analytics? Or is there something else I'm missing?Thanks!

Hi, I found that Adobe Analytics was not tracking some essential data due to IP filter being used to exclude my company's internal traffic.I removed the filter and I'm now getting all the traffic, but I can't see data history for the duration while the IP address filter was applied. Does anyone know if there's a way to recover that data?Many thanks in advance

Hello everyone, I'm trying to build the following segmentation in Adobe for a driver analysis: Cluster 1: In the last 4 weeks, the user was in the app for 1 or 2 different weeks of the past 4 weeks. Cluster 2: In the last 4 weeks, the user was in the app for 3 or 4 different weeks of the past 4 weeks. Important: It doesn't matter whether it was weeks 1 and 4, it only matters that he was a user in the app in 2 weeks. I have already tried the Adobe Analytics cohort analysis with latency. The problem is that I can either select rolling dates: The user who was in the app in the fourth week must also have been in the app in every week before. Without the rolling data, I only see whether the user was in the app 4 weeks ago, but the groups are independent of each other.I have also tried it with a simple segment such as: Count distinct week greater then or equals 1 and less then or equals 2. The problem is that this segment is then calculated for the entire period set in the dashboard and

Hi,I have a locker user account and can't access the Adobe Analytics as user was not able to access their account with the correct password and have tried it multiple time  but user was not able to access the account.We did password reset and also tried it on Chrome, Firefox and Edge by cleaning History & Cache/Cookies but it still gives same error message - "User locker due to too many failed attempts".@Adobe Analytics Customer Support, Can you please reset the password from back end?Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.Thanks.
