Page path views decreased by 50% from Page A to Page B after Page B was migrated to AEM. Before the migration, both Page A and Page B were in Drupal CMS. After the migration of Page B to AEM, path views from Page A to Page B decreased. See the screenshot below.

Hi @prakash1989 ,

Are you looking at visits or Page view metric? Can you please confirm if you are seeing reduction in individual page views as well? Did you check if server call is getting triggered on the newly migrated pages? Is there any change in the tracking code for the new pages?

Maybe more info can help!

Best,

Isha

Hi @prakash1989 ,

What exactly do you mean with page path views?

by any chance, have you changed the pageName in the new implementation?
Looks like the old page is no longer tracked under that name. Hence the flatline?

Cheers from Switzerland!

Yes, the page name changed for Page B (Cards Page) after the new implementation.

I see, anything else that got changed, for instance how the consent is handled?

And you are sure that the old implementation was firing only once per page view?

Bear in mind that seasonality can also impact the traffic you are seeing.

Meaning, seemingly decreased numbers may not necesarily be caused by a changed backend system.

Cheers from Switzerland!
