Hello, I'm working with a linear allocated eVar and I'm wondering what is the correct way to measure performance using this eVar up against success events for Orders and Revenue.From my screenshot above, can you help me understand the following questions please?When I isolate the values of this eVar in a Freeform table, the Revenue and Orders metrics are not matching vs when I adjust the attribution model for them to match the eVars settings - "Linear, expire at Visit". Can you help me understand why that is the case? Shouldn't the metrics match when I am using the same allocation and expiration?When I create a hit container segment, following the same logic as the Freeform Table- the different allocated metrics now match- how can that be the case when they did not match in the Freeform table?How would I report these success metrics against this type of eVar? For example, I want to know how a group of this eVar's values performed in terms of Orders and Revenue. Should I

Hello,I am interested in programmatically importing txt files using the Admin tab's Classification Importer. I looked over the documentation available for using the API to accomplish this task (documentation link: https://developer.adobe.com/analytics-apis/docs/2.0/guides/endpoints/classifications/import-file/) but noticed that to use these API requests I need access to a dataset value. I found this API request that pulls down all dataSet values: GET https://{environment}.adobe.io/data/foundation/catalog/dataSets (documentation link: https://developer.adobe.com/experience-platform-apis/references/catalog/#tag/Datasets). But I cannot use this API request because it requires SandBox data which is information I do not have access to because I do not have Experience Platform access.Is there another way of automating the classification importer? 

Hi All, I am trying to get distinct count of a dimension in a metric. I have tried using Approximate count distinct however its not giving exact nos. I am aware that it is using some Log Log algorightm to count and has 0-5% change margin from exact no. Wanted to check if there is any way around to get the exact count. Appreciate the help here. Hi,  I am new to adobe analytics and would like to know how to calculate exits. The definition says "The number of times a given dimension item is captured as the last value in a visit. This can help you understand the last thing visitors see before leaving your site, allowing you to optimize the experience a visitor gets before they leave." For now i have understood that every visit will have an exit and so i have marked last_page in the visit as exit page.  So for example, i am trying to group by dataset by different combinations like   group by date, countrygroup by date, country, marketing_channelgroup by date, country, retailer_name. The end goal was to calculate time_spent_per_page which has the logic as total seconds spent/(page views-(exits+bounces)) Any help in this much appreciated. Thanks

Currently, the app provided me the deeplink link url for the android app and i am using deeplink tester to connect the app to Project Assurance. But the deeplink url is not working. What should be the correct syntax of generating the deeplink url for the app? Will be it different for reactNative vs native framework?

I think a useful metric for analysis would be a version of a "bounce rate" that I can break out by page. But I need help figuring out how to calculate it. The standard Bounce Rate is at the visit-level, so breaking it out by page limits you to just the Bounces ÷ Entries. I would like to calculate how many people "bounced" off a page whether it was their entry page OR a page they navigated to. Another way of putting this: out of all Visits to a page, how many of those visits had only one hit on that page (the page load event). Here's how I'd use it in a table: Visits# of Visits w/ just one hit on this pagePage 1  Page 2  Page 3  

The UX update to the Adobe Analytics Workspace UI has removed functionality to right click "open in new tab" for Workspace, Admin, Components, etc in the tool bar. Has anyone else faced this issue? This has been a pain point for our team as we regularly work in multiple workspaces at once and or need to open new projects on the fly. The time it takes to open a blank tab, log in, and load a new blank workspace has diminished efficiency.

Hi,I know it's impossible to change report suite id's. However is this also true for virtual report suite id's? I don't see any options to change it inside the virtual report suite settings. Are these based on the original name when they are created or how are these decided?Thanks,Axel

Hello, So I'm reporting for a campaign in which I have a critical point in the user journey funnel for which I want to see the breakdown of people by marketing channels and typed/bookmarked arrivals. From my understanding, the sum of these two figures should equal the total visits to this page, but I am seeing a gap. Below we can see the gap: 13,002 - 6,979 - 5,769= 254 visits unaccounted for.                  The definitions of the validation landing page segment (1), organic segment (2) and validation landing page for typed/bookmarked (3) are as follows:Am I doing something wrong here? Is there any reason as to why we would see a gap here?

Hi!I admit "correctly" can mean different things depending on the use case. For my team, we want to understand a basic set up to use the tracking_code dimension to measure:Clicks (how many people clicked the link)How far did the user drill into our website (specifically, page views and what pages did the user look at after the initial click)Some background on our setup:We are using the ?cid= approach today in our emails, and are able to see how many people click a link using the Campaign Click Through metric. We are not sure how to determine what the user does next after an initial click. Do we need to store the CID value on our data layer and pass into an evar? Or, can we do this in default reporting by using other dimension/metrics?In our Admin set up, I noticed that the Tracking Code dimension is set to Expire After "Hit." Should this be extended to 1 week (or more) in order to see where the user is visiting on our site after clicking a ?cid= link?From this post, I too learned

Hi.  Is there a way to identify if a hit in the hit_data.tsv file is a late-arriving hit?  We currently do not receive late-arriving hits and we are assessing how our data loads will need to change if we enable this.  Thanks in advance.

W e are experiencing significant issues with data tracking in Adobe due to our cookie implementation. As a result, a large portion of our data dropped, making it unrepresentative of actual performance. This has raised growing concerns among stakeholders regarding the accuracy and reliability of Adobe data.As we need to ensure compliance, we are unable to make any changes to our cookie settings on our end. Given this constraint, could you advise if there is a solution to fix this? 

I am dealing with several types of data from Adobe Analytics, but discovered certain discrepancy.We are using CID with URL to track the campaign traffic. Now for two separate reasons I capture data in 2 different way.1st Way:Tracking Code ------- Unique Visitors 2nd Way:Tracking Code ------- Unique Visitors -------- Bounce Rate ------- Avg Time Spent Now I am seeing difference in "Unique Visitors" in 2 dataset. Numbers are less in 2nd way, is the difference is due to the separate parameters in 2 cases? Or there might be  some error in data?RegardsUtsav 

Hi there, We have a scenario where our email system and our AA instance are wildly off. I know comparing between two platforms always leads to issues however there is no trend whatsoever between the two systems. We decided to run a test, an email campaign that would only be sent to select internal users, and test on a multitude of devices, browsers etc. The email would contain a number of links to products and has unique campaign info that we can use to know that it is only our data. We found that all users using desktop were tracked as expected, so no issues there. However on mobile, only 3 of the 8 tests we did reached AA. In instances where we clicked on the email link from a mobile browser, seemed to reach AA ok. However, if we clicked on the links from outlook or gmail apps, there were more issues with receiving the data in AA. My question is - does anyone know of any issues surrounding email app clicks and how that works with AA tracking? Hi,I'm using Azure (Legacy) for our data feed and we have a folder within our container. I don't see any setting to set the folder path. I tried to put "container/folder" in the container box but doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to set the path?  

I'm investigating a form issue where hitting the submit button triggers a form submission event even if the form is not submitted and we have a form error event fired right after. So in the debugger we see form submission event -> form error event in subsequent hits.I'm trying to isolate these instances by building a visit level segment, but I'm not sure if this working properly. Hello.  I am trying to clean up some of our data and in looking at it from the raw data field perspective, it appears that, particularly in non-US countries (though it happens here as well), most of the IP Addresses we are capturing (and copying into an eVar with a processing rule) are those of the ISP rather than Public IP and show thousands of visits/day to the IP.  The problem is that I can see there is a LOT of behavior that is not consistent with actual customer behavior and appears to be bots.  The only options for manually blocking bots is IP or User Agent.  These visitors also delete their cookies after each visit, creating more unique visitors than there are customers in the regions.  How can we block these or how can we get Public IP instead of ISP?  The biggest problem is that SOME of the visitors from the ISP address are legitimate customers and buying products, so we do not want to block those.  Thanks in advance.
