According to the document, with a 5-second gap between events, the system would process about 17,280 events in a day (12 events per minute × 60 minutes × 24 hours). Hello @yuhuisg  We are in the process of implementing web vitals through a web software development kit (SDK) and have several questions. Your insights would be highly appreciated.Data Collection Volume:As we add this to send events (essentially sending beacons), it appears that it will generate thousands or more hits, considering all web vital events.If we run this implementation for 1-2 weeks, can we expect to gather enough data to make informed decisions? Hi,We are migrating from Adobe Analytics to AEP Web SDK. We are not using the ECID extension; instead, we are using the custom code below in a rule to capture the ECID and send it to Analytics Workspace:return alloy("getIdentity").then(function(result) {_satellite.setVar("experienceCloudID", result.identity.ECID);});This is working fine. However, when we were using Adobe Analytics with the ECID extension, we used to see two additional server requests—one from Adobe Audience Manager (type: ID Sync) and the other from Adobe Experience Cloud (type: Other). Since we no longer see these in the AEP Web SDK implementation, we wanted to understand the potential impact and whether any additional configuration is needed to ensure we are not missing any important data.Thanks,Kaushik Ganguly

I added the following metrics to the table shown in the screenshot: Bounce Rate (SPV/E), Bounce Rate (SPV/V), and Bounce Rate. As you can see, the different bounce rate metrics vary greatly, so we are looking for some expertise on which to use. Usually, we use SPV/E when looking at visits; however, we are seeing bounce rates greater than 100%. This is what prompted me to examine the other bounce rate metrics, but they vary so greatly that I am looking for some expertise. I know the difference in what they calculate. (Singe Page Visits/Entries vs Single Page Visits/Visits). If the goal here is to just see the page URLs with the highest bounce rate, which is the accurate one to use for my instance?  Does anyone possibly have any insight as to why the Platform tag seems to be appearing in the debugger, but Analytics says "Not found"    

Is it advisable to rollout webSDK page by page, or should this always be done full rollout in single deployment for the entire website ? The Adobe Analytics data connector to AEP would have 15min of latency, where as webSDK to edge network is realtime. if we deploy webSDK in stage wise, would this not create a timing mismatch in CJA reports ? or CJA would automatically adjust based on the timestamp of the clickstream HIT, and NOT the timestamp of data ingestion ? Secondaly, what are the best practices to stop the connector while fully deploying the webSDK without loosing any data between this deployment transition ?

I feel about 50% confident on my question, but want some clarity.   I've got a collection of distinctly separate websites with their own dedicated report suites. The datastream setups however would be identical in every respect other than the report suites the data is going to (all suites on same "account").  I've actually already gone through the steps of copying the datastream repeatedly for each site and environment. Realizing this was going to be a nightmare to manage, I started looking at the overrides as a hopeful alternative. Am I correct thinking that I can create a single datastream with a default report suite that could be anything while adding a list of "white list" report suites I want to send data to?  Then just set the override in each Launch Tag Property's web sdk overrides?  When I "override" the report suite, does that mean data goes only to the report suite I "override" it to, or does it go to the default suite AND the other suite I

Hi,In the screenshot attached, this is a list of user IDs, there is a metric to count distinct value of userID (Visitor ID unique Count). I do not understand how this metric displays a different number (#2 in the picture) as the volume of one id listed down (#1), there are clearly 5361 rows. So when I prepare an extract using DW to get the volume of distinct user ID, in my extract I request the user id this way I do my own deduplication in another reporting tool, and I end up with the same figure as #1. So in the report in another reporting tool I will display 5361 users while in Adobe I show 5428 users, this is confusing for the end users of the report (and for me).Anyone that could help me to understand the difference and if there is anything I have to fix on my end to display in Adobe.Many thanks  

Does Adobe Analytics Integrate with ALM to generate more detailed reporting for quizzes such as heat maps?

So my first tool I would like to share is what I call the Adobe Analytics pagename extractor. This is a quick and easy way for a user to get the pagename variable when using a datalayer based implementation method. The main thing here where its really efficient is when having many multiple URLs you need to get the pagename for each.  Here is a link: https://deploi.ca/tools/adobe A quick user guide:- In top section enter the pagename datalayer object you want to find.- Then in field below enter all the URLs(max 500 at a time).- A progress list will appear and once completed a .csv text file is generated.- If results are good then just click and download the file.(if tweaks required just update datalayer object and re-run.)   This also can work with other datalayer objects so I encourage you to try and experiment! In January, our website had 173,690 page views and 67,037 clicks (from Google Search Console SEO report), with a bounce rate of 29.35%. In February, page views dropped to 128,667 (a 25% decrease), but clicks increased to 69,357, and the bounce rate rose to 33.9%. What could be the possible reasons for this trend—higher clicks but lower page views and an increased bounce rate?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to get a better understanding of how Tracking Code variables (utm_medium, utm_campaign, etc.) and Marketing Channels should work together in Adobe Analytics.  I’m running into an issue where we can see medium parameters under non-paid channels, even though the user originally arrived via a paid channel. Here’s my setup:I have several Marketing Channel Processing Rules in place.The Tracking Code (s.campaign) is set only when UTM parameters are present in the URL.The tracking code variable persists for 30 days (default expiration).If a visit has no UTM parameters, s.campaign remains undefined.The issue: 1. A user lands on the site via a paid campaign (utm_medium=cpc, utm_campaign=Summer_Sale). Tracking Code is set correctly.2. Let say, a few days later, the same user returns via Google. I downloaded the Common Analytics Plugin and have initialised getNewRepeat. I then used the adobe analytics extension to set variables and I've put opened editor and have put in s.eVar4 = s.getNewRepeat(); When I look at debugger I see that eVar4 is always "New" despite the fact I have used the same browser to re enter my site many times - theres bound to be at least a repeat but when I look at my AA freeform table I'm only seeing "New". From what I read the plug in should be creating a cookie to help AA identify if they are new or repeat customers but the only cookies I am seeing are starting with s_ is s_cc and s_sq.  what to do?

Hello! This is a follow up to a previous post that I made re: average monthly unique visitors. I used Josh Stephens solution of the Column mean function to find average monthly unique visitors using the Month dimension. However, I have been asked to compare average monthly unique visitors by channel with a YoY comparison while putting it in a graph (that will hopefully look like the below screenshot). I am having issues with this because it is difficult to have the month dimension in a table that compares the three months of Q1 of 2024 and Q1 of 2025 with the different channels and calculating a mean for all of those functions in a neat and understandable way. I hope this makes sense!

Hi, For these 2 referrers, "https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net" and "https://syndicatedsearch.goog", is there an easy way to distinguish what is paid search vs paid display for Google Ads? My research and understanding is without CIDs or UTMs, you can't just simply look at this referrer to say this one is Google Ads Display only and this is Google Search only. Let me know if it's otherwise. I'd love to be able to say "https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net" is strictly Google Display Ads and "https://syndicatedsearch.goog" is Google Paid Search Ads (if that's even true). Thanks!
