Adobe Analytics

Hi everyone, does someone has an intelligent solution for adding adobe tracking to impressions or clicks of thrid party applications? I belive that every call of an impression would occur in a standard server call, which can get expensive. Is there an other way than importing data from the other application? Thanks and best regardsChristoph

Hello Team,  I am currently working with Adobe API 2.0 to pull some adobe data using debugger in Analytics.I have been going through this link (Reporting Multiple Breakdowns) and found out that section 2 has what I have been looking for ( screen grab below) The json query has only one month available here as below: and the response is giving only one month ( the one in query) worth of data. I need to have a similar break down (month level broke down by a dimension) and also want data for a particular time period say last 13 months or last 6 months.  How can I achieve this ? Hello everyone,  I am trying data extraction using Adobe API through JWT authentication.  I have created an Adobe workspace with a metric and dimension in rows and day in column as seen below The above dimension has 3 dimension items so its easy to extract data from API. I have another dimension which has 100+ items  and I want to pull top 50 for the given time period from these every time.  Can you guide me in how to proceed with this ?

Hey! I wanted to extract a few calculated metrics along with certain number of dimensions (breakdowns) where in both calculated metrics and dimensions are greater than 1.In the Adobe Data Warehouse UI, I couldn't find my calculated metrics so I assume warehouse doesn't support this?  Any other API(1.4 / 2.0) that could fit my use case? Any help would be highly appreciated, thank you!

hello everyone,  1. I am using the below API call to get Top N items : https://analytics.adobe.io/api/{login}/reports/topItems?rsid={rsid}&dimension={dimensionId}&locale=en_US&dateRange={}/{}&lookupNoneValues=true&limit=10000&page=0  For an example when I run for top 2 items the api call returns Term 1 and Term 2 as I found out the top n items works based on visits.  But I want the response to consider calculated Metric 1 ( a segment over an event)  and result Term 3 & Term 4.  2. When I request top N items, the limit of results per page is pegged at 1000. Is there any way I can get top 10000 in 1 request instead of sending multiple requests with changing page (page =0,1,2 etc) in above request Is there any way I could make this happen. Appreciate the responses.

Hello everyone, We want to have a reporting of our ad spend through FB Business in Adobe Analytics to be able to track Cost vs Revenue in workspace. How can this be integrated, does anyone have documentation? I imagine that it can be possible through Data Source or Classification Importer. I know that Adobe Analytics has Marketing Channel Cost option, but it only applies at 'Report' not at Workspace. I guess we are not the first project with this need. Thanks!

Hi all.We are trying to get the segment "Referrer Types", which exists in the Adobe Analytics Workspace, from the row hit data in the data feed.There seems to be many columns corresponding to "Referrer Types" such as ref_type, visit_ref_type and first_hit_ref_type and these columns contains the values which are not in the value in the "Referrer Type" such as "Inside your Site", "Email" and "No JavaScript".Which columns should I use and how can I get exact the same segment as "Referrer Type" ?I read the official document about it but I can't  understand the concrete process how "Referrer Type" are derived.I would appreciate if you could answer my question.Thanks.

Hi, We are trying to see target reporting workspace in Adobe Analytics after A4T integration, but we can't find the Analytics for Target (A4T) panel in Adobe Analytics. Are there any steps that we need to follow for the panel to appear? Regards,Sri

I need help creating a calculated metric.I am trying to calculate our conversion rate based on Visit with Orders (any number of orders) vs Visits.Example: Dave comes to the site and checks out 3 different times. That would be a 300% conversion rate. How do I create a conversion rate that normalizes it to 100%? 1 visit and Order Exists = 100% conversion rate.Example 2: Dave comes to the site 2 times. The first time he came he did not Order. The second time he came he Ordered 3 times. The rolled up visit conversion rate would be 200% but I want the "normalized" conversion rate to reflect 50%. (1 visit without a conversion and 1 visit where conversions exist) 

I am building a Workspace and would like to create one freeform table where the dimension breakdown could be easily swapped to another dimension. I know this can be done by dragging and replacing the dimension but I would like the users of the dashboard to be able to select a dimension from a list.Is this possible?

Hi All, I have configured Adobe analytics extension and wrote one general page load rule for firing a pageName variable across my site. Whenever I load a page from my site, my rules are firing once but getting two analytics hits in my debugger. I cross-checked my page on loading. its loading only once, but I am getting two Hits with different analytics Hit ID. Following are the extension I am using for my property 1. Adobe Core 2. Adobe Analytics 3. Adobe Expereince Cloud ID. Any ideas or suggestions on this?

Can we get launch library versions and store it in any variables for tracking purpose

Hi there, I wanted to query the 'Month' and 'Quarter' dimensions using the Adobe Reporting API but was unable to find them. It looks like these dimensions are unavailable through the API. Any workarounds or combination of dimensions that would achieve the same goal? Note: I can only use the Adobe Analytics Reporting API 1.4 for this task

1. What would be a Unique visitors definition on mobile apps? If user logs in from one device they count as one unique visitor and if same user logs in from a different mobile device is it a second unique visitor? 2. Would the number of unique visitors in mobile world mean number of unique active devices?3. Since each logged in user in mobile world has a unique user guid therefore counting the distinct numbers of these user guids gives me unique visitors for my mobile app?

We use Adobe analytics for our site We figured out a way to set the Marketing Process Rules but it doesn't work quite well. (see attachment)We've got several issues on Attribution of the Conversions.Often, the traffic from Paid Search (Google Ads) and Social Ads is tracked as Referral Domain after the second click of the session.In this case the conversions (Last touch) are always associated on the Referring Domain Channel, in spite of the fact that the visit from Paid Search has directly generated the purchase.Why?We note that Adobe Analytics loses the tracking of the URL UTM after the second page of the session. To recognize traffic from Paid Search we configured the channel with a query-string parameter: it works when the user clicks on ads but, when he explores other pages the channel attribution changes.How can we do to maintain  the attribution on Paid Channel after a second click?  Another issue: we oftens see our site domain&nbs

Hello, I have the following question regarding the Adibe Analytics API's /report endpoint:The shape of the resulting report JSON consists of 1 column per metric (for a set of segments if these are defined in the filters) and 1 row per dimension value (1 row per day for example).If we intend to create a report with the same data as a Freeform table from an Adoe Analytics Dashboard, where we have M metrics, S segments and D dimension values, using the /reports endpoint this would result in a JSON report with M*S columns and D rows. This shape is quite different when compared to the shape of the data in the Freeform table (M columns by S rows)My question, with the aim of obtaining a JSON format as close as possible as the one in the Freeform table, is if it is possible to, instead of having 1 row per Dimension value, have 1 row per Segment (from a specified list of segments), thus also resulting in only 1 column per Metric.Example of the intended JSON:... Hi, I have the following question regarding the Adobe Analytics API:Is there a way to specify multiple names of metrics/calculatedmetrics/segments in the respective GET endpoints' parameters so that the response contains data only about the specified components?E.g. calling the \segments endpoint with parameter names="segment1,segment2,segment3" returns a JSON response with data on the 3 segments in it's content.From what I understand from the documentation we can specify name keywords in the \segments endpoint, but the response only contains data on segments that have all of the keywords in their names, so if we want multiple segments with completely different names, we have to either do 1 GET request per segment, or do 1 (more if there are more than 1000 total segments) GET request that returns all segments and filter them on client side.The same thing happens for \calculatedmetrics and the \metrics endpoint does not even have a name filter parameter.Thanks

I'm trying validate the generated report, i pass ReportDescription as a parameter into http request to endpoint "https://api.omniture.com/admin/1.4/rest/?method=Report.Validate"but it fails, it's not returning boolean as written in documents.I'll be thankful for advises or solutions.
