The Adobe Launch tag is created but it seems like Google Ads and Tag Manager isn't connceted. The 'Tag Name' doesn't appear in GTM Preview Mode. Although, the Gtag extenesion is used in Adobe Launch for Google Analytics.Can the team help in the connection of the two platforms?

Hi,this is for a CJA practice exam but given the similarity to Analytics, i ll drop it here anyway.in the practice exam i received the following question:"A report requires you to build an audience of web visitors that viewed the Checkout page, then afterward went to the Cart page in a single session. Which of the following filters will output the correct audience?"these are the 3 options:from the screenshot what would you choose? figure 1,2 or  3 in order from the top to the bottom, which one would you choose a why?i chose one that i thought was correct but in the end it was not.

I need to know if we can make metrics in Adobe Analytics and pass it to Power BI. Is it possible? How to do it?

We have two parts of our web application: one which is open and one where you need to log in and have created an account to access other pages (like a Customer Portal). Both of these parts of the application are currently being tracked via the same Report Suites. For the part where the user logs in, we have our own unique visitor ID which is sent via an eVar (the userID). I would like when this eVar is sent to use it as the Unique Visitor ID for the computations in Adobe Analytics, and it seems that I can set this up following this tutorial (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/analytics/admin/admin-tools/manage-report-suites/edit-report-suite/conversion-variables/unique-visitor-variable/t-unique-visitor-variable). What I am wondering, is what will happen for the part of the application which is open. If the userID is not set up, will it revert back to default visitor ID count from Adobe Analytics? or will it break completely the metrics based on visitor IDs as the user

Scenario : CTA event (eventx) should be fired on every cta present on the website. It is happening correctly but it is firing two times sometimes. Below is the screenshot for network tab where first call showcase the parameters for analytics parameters.In second call or duplicated call, there is one more attribute "sdid" getting generated in the payload. Is this Target paramater? Data Collection rules and event listeners are checked correctly , first call is only required that is event should be fired one time.  This scenario is quite intermittent , not always duplicate call is captured but what could be the probable reasons for it happen. Thanks in Advance.

Is there a way to view, within the browser, where tags exist?  Specifically I want to know what tags exist on buttons/links.  Something similar to the Chrome developer tools that let you hover over an element to see details.  I'd prefer to see visually all tags on the page using something like tooltips, but if I have to hover like the Chrome tool below I guess that would suffice.  I don't see any such functionality in the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger extension.  Thanks!  

Random Friday question, when users use Chat GPT / Bard and found some answers through these AI tools, how to you track these web traffic / interactions in Adobe Analytics?     I presume we can only see web traffic unless they click on the sources and land on your website, correct?    

We’re a parent company with a user-facing website that our subsidiaries use. Many of them are retiring their external websites and redirecting traffic to dedicated landing pages on our main site via 301 redirects.To prevent this redirected traffic from inflating our core site metrics, we want to exclude views, sessions, and people associated with the initial landing page hit — but still include any downstream engagement from users who continue navigating further into the site. In the Segment Builder, I’m using an Event-level segment to accomplish this. I was attempting to update my legacy Report Builder workbooks to the newer version of Report Builder. However, I've come across what I think is a huge miss in functionality with the new version that would prevent me from being able to use it, and I'm wondering if it's an actual miss on Adobe, or just user error on my part. The functionality miss that I think exists and am wondering if there's a work around for is being able to anchor the "as of date" to a cell (see screenshot for the option I'm referencing from the legacy report builder). My reports are scheduled to send early in the morning, with reporting through previous day. Our Adobe instance is set up to use our fiscal calendar, and I use fiscal dates for reporting. The issue I have would be when the report is run on day that's the first day of a new fiscal period because I would want this report to actually run the data for the fiscal period that just ended. What could be the reason where , I see the Beacon getting cancelled  while when I check the ecid against it the event, eVar and props getting captured . Have anyone experienced this behaviour?Has anyone come across a case where the beacons seem to be getting cancelled, but the data (events, eVars, props) still shows up in Adobe Analytics? Trying to understand what could cause this behavior

I realize you can compare to set date ranges and rolling date ranges in Workspace. What I can't figure out is how to adjust for when a user wants to compare to their own custom date range. For example, I want a dashboard where a user can: 1. Select a month and see A) total visits and B) summary change from the previous month 2. Using the same widgets as #1 the user can select the last quarter and see the summary change from the previous quarter3. Using the same widgets as #1 the user can select a random day and see the summary change from the previous day I don't want to have to set up a bunch of different visuals just to show different date ranges and the percentage change from the same previous range. This seems like a really basic feature but it doesn't appear to be possible.  Appreciate any tips.

Hi All, I have worked on CJA And AEP for six months i have not came through much problem solving tasks in cja could anyone help me get few problematic question like this to help in my interview please , 1.EX: Why after creating connection cja is getting higher number of data than aep ans : this would be because of the backfill 2. In AEP Could it be possible to create a connection on cja using only profile data set ans : no we need an event data as well to process this  like these scenario i need questions and answer if possible please   

Hi @bjoern__koth ,I have setup events via custom code in webSDK on pageload & button click calls but these events are persisting on the next pages.Is there any way to use s.clearVars(); in WebSDK? or is there any alternate approch.

Hi, We've had some reports set up by a previous member of staff via Adobe Analytics report builder & these have been scheduled to run as a daily extract as a PDF. Is there any way to access the raw excel version of these reports?Thanks, Chris

Over the last two months , we’ve seen a massive drop in our Repeat Visitors number on Adobe Analytics.In January, the Repeat Visitors number was 117,595 , in February, it tanked to 277 and in March the number is 33.In end of Jan we have updated getNewRepeat code as we are getting s_nr cookie as unsecured. To fix that unsecure cookie we have updated the code with latest version but after that update we are recording the repeat users. How to fix this?

Hello, I am working on creating a segment that shows customer visits where they did not click on specific links on the specified page. When I set up the segment like below, it gives me almost 100% of the original page visits so I know it is not correct. Any help would be appreciated as this can better understand customers who don't engage with certain page areas Main Container = VISITSpage contains: page name- AND -Exclude sub containerHITSLink contains: link name- OR -Link contains: link name 

Hello, I have read multiple articles and blogs regarding how to get Adobe analytics historical data into CJA.  But I havent found any solid ones apart from https://www.fullstackanalyst.io/blog/adobe-customer-journey-analytics/web-analytics-with-adobes-customer-journey-analytics-part-2-system-architecture-in-experience-platform/Currently I do have historical data coming from adobe source connector which has its own default schema. Unfortunately I cannot select my custom schema since it does not have the Analytics experience template field group. How does one map both historical data from source connector and future data from websdk into one field ? Is this even possible ? For example I have page name that is coming as eVar1 from adobe analytics and pagename as web.pagedetails.pagename from websdk Now how do I merge these two into one field in data view? Has anyone tried like alternative approach where the datafeed is exported to datalake usin

I am a software engineer trying to implement functionality to call Adobe analytics api from backend. Usually we call analytics from the browser. But in my case the application code is hosted https://developers.google.com/apps-script here. Which is backend.The scenario is that I would not be able to call adobe analytics api from Front end/browser using window object since the code is at backend. When the api call goes to javascript backend, I will be calling the Adobe analytics api. Do we have a documentation as such for such functionality to call adobe analytics from backend?Do let me know if there are any doubts.

Trying to do some major AA houskeeping. I know you can see the number of workspaces where components are used. So, before cleaning up all our metrics and segments, I cleaned up our workspaces because I figured if there were components only being used in workspaces that have been deleted, then they would show that they're not used anywhere. I have this calculated metric saying it's being used in 32 components (screenshot 1). When I click to see where it's being used, nothing shows up (screenshot 2). I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but I'm not the owner of the metric--but I also have filtered the view of projects to show ALL projects, which should show me projects owned by others that are using this metrics. Is it possible that Adobe isn't recognizing all of the deleted workspaces as deleted and is counting those workspaces when displaying the number of "components" that this metric is used in?
