Hi team,   I am new to this tool and try to create an report for our market brand combination. I have already created a draft version of my report and when i try to change the databases and filters ( in quick segment), it somehow gets reflected back to my original report.I tried to use two different methods; at first i tried to create a copy and then implement the changes which didn't solved my problem and secondly i tried to implement the changes in the original one and try saving as under different name.Anyone please help me here as i have been struggling with this from long time now.   Thanks  AS

Hello, When ever i am traying evaluate campaign performance ( Marketo, Google Ads, Social media Ads) the clicks which are showing in advertising platform and adobe metrics are not matching this making a bottle b/w analytics team and campaign team what will be the reason) how can we overcome this issue kindly let me know your thoughts   Example: let's marketo .email campaign have 80 Clicks in advertising platform where as adobe will give 30 visits and 45 instances Google ads if 1000Clicks means adobe is showing 300Vists and 450 Instances. what will be reason for it  

Dear All:   I found that in my reports there are less page views than unique visitors. 307 Unique Visitors but only 300 page view? If a user visits Portal at least one "Page views" is counted，so "Page views" should be greater than or equal to the unique visitor, why the count of Page views less than Unique Visitors .   If a new user close too fast (how many seconds?), the "Page views" will not be captured but “Unique Visitors” will be captured?

Would love a deep dive on this if at all possible; is this using a cookie? Are there any ramifications to privacy / GDPR legislation, and new browser standards (safari et al) that might prevent the successful identification of a return visit?   I'm sure an article exists on this somewhere but wasn't able to find it. I'm creating a report to find out the number of visits according to Browser type based on the day. Date Range - 1st Jan 2020 - 31st Dec 2020.   It takes forever to retrieve data for Adobe, what can be the solution to retrieve it fast?    

Hi Adobe Community,   I'm seeing data discrepancies with Visits/Visitors in Workspace and the data warehouse. Analytics workspace has more visits and visitors than a data warehouse, I'm using the same segments in both. The reservation/revenue looks identical but visits are a lot lower in data warehouse reports. I tried Visits and "Visits - All Visitors" in the Data warehouse. Any suggestions on what should I look for? Thank you. 

We are repurposing listVar1. We have not used the old implementation in 5 months. But, we notice extra data in the post_mvvar1 values when comparing it to the mvvar1 values, and we can't figure out where it comes from. What populates the post_mvvar1/values?We disproved that vista rules and processing rules are contributing. Because it states "post" in the var name, we assume some processing is happening after the fact, but we're not sure about that either. We are now considering the expiration of the var but don't know how it relates to the post_mvvar1 variable. Also, wondering if the Allocation affects the post_mvvar1 values. Can anyone shed light on if the expiration and allocation have an effect on the post_mvvar1 variable in the click stream?    

Is there a way that I can create a segment with a metric and fix the value in to make interaction calculations with other segments?

Hello everyone.I am working with Adobe Data Feeds and I have found a very curious thing: I have a custom evar (evar58) where we store the Pathname URL. That variable is populated with the page being navigated to. My doubt arises because in my SQL Query ,is appearing during an empty evar58 (as if it did not modify) but the post_evar58 changes between a hit and another, without the evar58 changing. select post_visid_high||post_visid_low||visit_num||visit_start_time_gmt as visit_id,evar58 , post_evar58, date_timefrom adobe_datafeedswherereference_date >= date('2022-09-01') and reference_date <= date('2022-09-01')and exclude_hit = '0'and hit_source not in (5,7,8,9) order by date_time asc How could be post_evar is modified and the Evar is not modified? I assume that post_evar is automatically populated by Adobe, but based in the evar value. Could anybody clarify me this? In addition, could be the opposite thing? Evar value that is not populated to post_evar?

Hi   I am looking for some tentative costs that Adobe clients can incur for the server calls? In one of the case where we are exploring the option to add a global reportsuite in addition to websites own reportsuite. The server calls in this case get doubled, so will this double the cost? or is there a range of server calls for which Adobe  charges and then when is crosses the range , the next cost slab gets applied?   Thanks Parm

Hi All, I have set up a processing rule to save the IP address in a prop like suggested in this post https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-questions/check-ip-address-on-workspace/m-p/252254#M20190. Checking the data I discover that all the Ip address ends with .0 (e.g 104.28.98.0, 104.28.60.0, 165.225.202.0, 172.225.94.0 ). Is there any reason why it is not getting different values of the final part?   Thanks,F

Hi everyone, we are working on a customer request, it is requiring some information about which data is collected and which data can be excluded from collection, for privacy/GDPR purposes. The questions are: is there an official link with a list of the minimum (standard implementation) data set collected by default by AA (e.g., browser type, screen size, etc.)? in case, an official link stating which of the above data cannot be excluded by the data collection in order not to compromise the functioning of the AA?

I noticed that there is already API to check the status of data feed.   But I would like to setup the data feed through API directly without using data feed management UI.   Are there any APIs to setup & schedule data feeds?

I am building a session based filter where I specify:   Filter = Session { Event = A Then Event = B Then  Event = C }   Then, lets says the only session I have in AA is this: A -> B -> C.      If I apply this session level segment and look at all events this is what I except: All: [A = 1, B = 1, C = 1], Only Before: [A = 1, B = 1], Only After: [B=1, C=1]   Is this correct?

We are reaching out to you to assist us with identifying and seeking a solution to the Page loading issue which is happening intermittently in IMF.Org Website in the recent past. This hits the performance of the website and the page keeps spinning. On refresh, the page load properly again and this is reproducible in lower environments as well.       Issue: Users are facing intermittent issue on loading the pages of https://www.imf.org/ site. This behavior is across the site and it is not consistent. According to the official document: In the context of Identity Service, ECID is used as the primary ID for devices and as a base node for identity graphs. I found that there are multiple ecid for the same cookie, so what factors are involved in judging the uniqueness of the ecid? If possible, please provide examples.   Thanks, Gwen

Hi,   We track ads on videos in Adobe Analytics. I don't know how I can filter on content starts with a preroll. I want to get a calculated metric like ad starts / content starts to measure the content starts that we lose due to a preroll (so I just want to integrate content starts with a preroll)   Regards,   Mathilde

I found json using debug in workspace, but I want to get data by coding directly. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how to find the item id.

Hi Team, We are trying to check data for Report Suites “Delta – Polaris” and could notice that the values for “Visits” metric is different when checked under “Workspace report” as compared to the values in scheduled reports under “Data Warehouse”. Please see below example for one of the tracking code “dipd-n4tdhc” : For Aug 1-31,2022, the tracking code shows 2952 Visits in Workspace report: Whereas, if we check the same tracking code in the scheduled reports (Aug 16-31 & Aug 1-15) from Data Warehouse the values for Visits is 3116 : Can you please suggest us why there is discrepancy between both the reports.   Thanks & Regards, Ajay Bhandari

Our segment 'Return Visits' below is great to see how many visits to our website are returning ones, i.e. 10,000 visits last month & 2,000 were Return Visits. "VISIT Visit Number is greater than 1"   However, I'm struggling to work out (or find other posts' solutions) to say how many returning visits have previously seen a particular directory, e.g. last month there were 1,000 visits to the '/sports/' directory of my website. Of those 1,000 visits, x visits had previously visited the '/sports/' directory at any point. So this could have been within that last month period or actually 10 months ago. Does anybody have a segment solution they can demonstrate to me please? Thanks.    Other solutions I've seen show: the visitor having to have previously seen the '/sports' section but within the same 'last month' period. or have used the 'Visit Number' dimension being >1, but haven't tied the 'Visit Number' to that specific '/sports/' directory, just overall.&nb

HI!I´ve been trying to export app custom link or action data on data warehouse as I need to automate it for once a month. I need it with day granularity however, the custom link instance or action instance metric does not show up for me on data warehouse. How can I get that? otherwise, I only get the actions names but I need to know the number of clicks for each action by day.Is it possible? Doing that on the workspace is not an option as it would be impossible to add the daybreak down for each action (we have more than 200 by now) and depending on the date range we would pass the row limit. Thank you!

Hello Adobe Members,   Hope someone can help. I am building an Adobe Dashboard and am trying to calculate the drop off rate and completion rate for two specific elements in my customer journey.    The Scenario: I have a view of how many people started my journey (by selecting a specific button) and how many people who started that journey exited the journey (by clicking on a specific button) and I am now trying to calculate the drop off rate, e.g. percentage of users who entered the journey at point A and then exited before the final step and the completion rate, e.g. percentage of users that started at point A and completed at the final step of the journey.   Can you please help me understand which metrics to use or how to do this? Step by step instructions would be great as I am a  beginner using Adobe Analytics.    Thanks.
